Given that it was Father's Day, I anticipated a long wait, but thankfully we were able to join the waitlist through the Texas Roadhouse website. As soon as I arrived to the restaurant my table was ready and our server brought me some complimentary peanuts. Our server was incredibly attentive, bringing out the famous bread rolls with honey cinnamon butter which were so delicious. I ordered the Roadkill steak with sautéed onions and a salad. I did ask for a side of A1 steak sauce from another server which I was told they were completely out of so I asked my original server and she went above and beyond to get it for me. we went w friends last Saturday evening. we ordered potato wedges. Waitress forgot to order. We got our meal, my sirloin was tough as shoe leather. My wife and friends steak was excellent. The waitress brought our potato skins after we was done w our meal. She never offered to take it off our bill and a manager never came by. We have always had good food and service but I was very disappointed Saturday. I did not complain, we r very good tippers, but did not leave a good tip. My steak was overcooked on top of super bland. I was good with the over cooking but I just couldn't keep doing the steak without any flavor. Hesitant (I almost never do this) I said something to the waitress. To my amazement she ran to the back and got me a side of seasoning. I have no words. She's obviously never cooked a steak before. I ordered a medium steak and it came out very under cooked. It was sent back and when the same steak came out, it was the charred! Burnt as could be. Scratch that steak and got a new one only for this one to to only be cooked yet under again. I've never had an issue but the cooks could use a meat thermometer. Do better Texas Roadhouse! read more

To begin the night we ordered two bottle of beer. One coors light, one michelob. Ordered three mixed drinks, two mango margarita and one Texas tea. We got the kids drinks, waters, then put in appetizers. Got the appetizers and put in our order. Got our salads and still no drinks from the bar. We had to remind our server about them. We got them less than 2 minutes later. Half melted, the michelob wasn't in a bottle but in a glass and flat. Our food took another 45-a hour to receive, which would make sense with how busy it was, except all of our food was cold and inedible. We couldn't eat anything. The manager Terick? Started working with us on the issue, offered to remake it. I wanted mine remade and that was it. We got given "remade" chicken strips which were still cold. I told the manager, had him feel the food to know we weren't lying and he agreed with us. I told him to cancel my remake, I didn't trust for it to come out made right or at least edible. Still got handed some, the only part of the beef tips that was warm was the baked potato. The beef tips remade were still cold. The manager and waitress were trying to adjust the receipt where the food we weren't going to take home and heat up was taken off. They weren't removing anything correct, we used pens to show them exactly what we weren't taking, twice, they still couldn't do it right. They were trying to charge us over $100, but when I added it the total didn't reach over $70. The assistant manager, who's name I don't get, was the only helpful one who offered to comp the food. The manager again came to argue that what he offered was correct when it wasn't. Gave up, let us go. Four of us were throwing up by the time we got home. One because he ate one bite of shrimp, me and the others were because of the salad. read more

Went for my wife's birthday and was not impressed. Ordered appetizers and explained we would order the main course later to have time with the starter. When the server brought our drinks she said the appetizer was a few minutes away so we ordered main course. Ten minutes later our salads arrived and still no appetizer. After finishing our salads the appetizer finally arrived, it was cold and not good at all. When the main course arrived my wife's steak and side were cold. Son's chicken was overcooked and Mac-n-cheese was cold. My order did not arrive, I was told they were waiting on the pork chops. Ten minutes later I get one chop with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Everything was cold. Was told repeatedly over the next 10 minutes that my second chop was coming soon. Guess it got lost somewhere because it never arrived. Our server had one speed......SLOW! Our school took 24 students and 3 adults here to dine. Shelby, the woman who helped me the entire week (to set up the meal, etc.), was phenomenal. She was very helpful. At the end of the meal, the tab was $426. I knew we received the "early dining" prices, but had overlooked that we had to pay extra for drinks. Luckily, with everyone, it was fine. We were able to put the $426 on our school credit card, and then each table (5 tables) did a cash tip. My table (3 adults) did $25, then the next $18, the next $20, the next $12, and the last $15. The total cast tip was $90. This equates to a 21% tip in gratuity. After we paid, we walked out to our school bus. I turned around and one of the managers/staff was behind me (had on a headset). He stopped me mid-parking lot and said (VERY kindly), "how was your visit?" And I happily replied, "great-thank you so much!" He then said, "Are you sure? Was there anything?" And I told him, "the only thing was I didn't know we had to pay for drinks." Once I said this, he TURNED very angry and said "YES, you did-don't lie." Then when I said "Oh, I really didn't but it was okay...." HE CUT ME OFF and said "Pretty crappy tip on a $400 tab!" And I said "what?" I told him we left over 15%, and he raised his voice more and said "No you didn't! You left $20!" and then he stormed back towards the restaurant. THE STUDENTS standing around were in shock, as was I. This manager/employee obviously ONLY looked at the table with the credit card receipt (the table with the $25 tip). This literally RUINED the experience--the students were like "that man was so mean--what was that about????" So then I had to explain what I "thought" was the misunderstanding. BUT-this man is obviously a manager and his actions and demeanor were completely uncalled for. He did not stop to listen to WHY HE WAS MISTAKEN (the other 4 tables had tips as well)... My steak was flattened and burned. The server brought out food about 5 minutes after we got salad forcing us to eat at same time. It was like our food was precooked because it was "warm" not hot. Baked potato was definitely sitting awhile as they were not hot, the small amount of cheese was not melted but cost us an extra $1.29 as it was supposed to be loaded. It was a big rip off. I can't remember the last time I've visited a Texas Roadhouse. I'd just arrived from California so Pops took me out to eat. The staff was nice & courteous. Blooming Onion 3.5outta5 it was ok, but not as flavorful as the one from Outback. Filet mignon 4.5outta5 It was cooked perfectly & melted in my mouth. I asked for sautéd shrooms but received onions instead, otherwise it was perfect. Sangria Margarita 5outta5 absolutely delicious. I can't remember the server's name but hopefully this will be relayed to her. Don't ever call an African American man, a boy. I don't believe she meant any harm but it rubbed me the wrong way when she jokingly called my 78yr old father boy. Got to the restaurant and of course it was packed. Luckily we found two seats at the bar top so we could have some drinks. The three girls behind the bar were awesome. They were attentive and made sure our drinks didn't run out. In fact, they were so good that after 40 minutes of waiting we decided to just eat at the bar! We got the Caesar salad, ribeye steak medium, salmon, grilled shrimp, loaded potato, green beans, and Mac and cheese with extra cheese and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly. That was the first time we have ever ordered the green beans and Mac and cheese. We didn't care for the green beans. Not that they didn't have a good flavor, they just weren't our thing. The Mac and cheese was so good we will definitely be getting it as a side again. I will give the waiter 5 stars. Kevin, you are a good guy keep up the good work. Unfortunately, the steaks arrived, both were to be cooked medium or better. They looked like if you poked them with the fork they would scream and run away, and my friend's steak had a lot of grissle. their steak been cooked medium well, and the fat and grissle had time to carmelize, it wouldn't have been an issue. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My friend's wife has a serious allergic reaction, to among other things, cigarette smoke. A man two tables back start vaping directly under a fan used to circulate air, and my friend's wife had an allergic reaction, even before she saw the person vaping.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend went to speak to him and ask him to stop vaping, he denied vaping after he had been seen. I suppose as a parting shot, the friend sitting next to him pulled his vape out as well. Here is where the One Star in. Kevin did the right thing and asked his manager to speak to the table. Let us not shoot the messenger on this one, Kevin came back and told us his manager said vaping was not smoking, and there is nothing the manager could do. Vaping is smoking. Had the other table not left soon, and this woman had a severe reaction to repeated exposure to the vapor created by the vapor, you might have been forced to call an Ambulance to haul her off to the hospital. read more

I did have to wait on the rolls which wasn't much of a wait. I'm so glad I waited for them because the rolls were still warm when I got back to my lodging. The two times I've been here the food has taken very long, and the last time both the steak and the burger we ordered were cool to the touch, the fries were completely cooled off. Maybe they need new hot plates/ wherever the food sits while waiting? Or maybe they weren't heated right the first time? The food was not so great. I ordered Togo a 24 ounce bone in and the size was so small about the size of the baked potato. Stopped by for dinner tonight and was really turned off by this establishment. For starters, as we walked to our table, my husband noticed that one of the cooks was grilling steaks with a cigarette in his mouth. When we sat down at the table, I remarked on how sticky the menus were. The food was tasty, but my baked potato was kind of cool. The restrooms were filthy with paper towels, piled high and just a general glaze of grease (?) on the sink. On the positive side, our server, Emily, was very sweet.
