We had the deviled eggs and lump crab cakes to start, and both were SO good. Prices were great too. Our waitress, Staci (or Stacy), was AMAZING. Sweet, funny, great at banter, and incredibly attentive. Even when she was busy, she never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. When she was at our table, we had her full attention, she checked on us the perfect amount, and we never had to ask for anything twice. She was on top of her game! My only complaint was a really awkward interaction at the end. I wanted to ask Staci two simple questions: whether they carried an olive gin I'd had in Europe (they didn't, but I haven't found it anywhere) and whether I could buy a roll of quarters because we were going to play pool. Somehow this turned into 5-6 staff members gathering around, plus this random blonde lady in a white T-shirt and jeans joining the conversation. Aside from Staci and the blonde lady, no one else even acknowledged me. They just stood there looking at me. It was weird. It felt like a lot of unnecessary attention over two simple questions and made me pretty uncomfortable. Having another customer involved was honestly the weirdest part. It was disappointing because we'd had such a great experience up until then. I went from thinking, "I need to bring my friends here!" to leaving feeling pretty unwelcome. Food: delicious. Atmosphere: beautiful. Prices: great. Staci: WONDERFUL. I just wish the interaction at the end had matched the rest of the experience. I changed my rating from two stars to four stars because I didn't feel like one bad interaction was worth two stars and I was a little flustered when I originally wrote my review.

Yelp really needs to add a sixth star for this one! Upscale but casual, and the food was amazing! Brought my wife for our anniversary dinner, we had the full fare including appetizer which I forgot what it was called but had mounds of delicious crab stuffing on crackers, drinks, well lots of drinks, she had the chilean sea bass which was unreal it was so good, I had the 16 ounce delmonico pittsburgh style with the whipped potatoes and fresh slaw. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and the burnt corn and lobster bisque soup was awesome. And some jack daniels bread pudding for desert which was amazing! Service was top notch, I called my server "vegas", you'll know who he is the moment you see him, just don't ask him to guess your age, he seems to shoot high by about eleven years! Lol. Del Waumstead Sp? the owner continually made his rounds conversing with the guests and was very pleasant. A magician entertained at random tables though not ours. All in all, I would have to rate this among the highest of our dining experiences anywhere including Seattle and Dubai. A bit pricey but well worth it. Definately our new go-to for date night!!! read more

Had a great meal here right after the onset of COVID. Service was spectacular. Steak and cocktails equally so. Dale and his daughter were perfect ambassadors of the fine dining experience. Very endearing. The magician that hops from table to table is unique, but sometimes intrusive. I didn't have the heart to make him disappear. He's got a good gig here too. You can't really make a mistake ordering anything on or off the menu. I was on date and the booth seating ambiance was extra special. A couple of months ago or so, I was having dinner with a mutual acquaintance of Dale and mine at the Texas Steakhouse. The meal was excellent as usual, and the "close up magic" illusionist performing at our table was unbelievably good. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. Scott and the entire staff, especially our wonderful server Brielle, were incredibly hospitable, attentive, and accommodating. One thing that meant a great deal to us was the care they took with our son's celiac dietary needs. They made us feel comfortable and confident that he was being well taken care of. And the food was absolutely delicious! Between the four of us, we enjoyed four different entrées--from the Pittsburgh-style New York strip and Kansas City strip to the sea bass and filet--and everything was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a few drinks, which were equally well done. What really made the evening special, though, was the hospitality. The service was attentive without being intrusive, professional while still being fun and personal. The team made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated while helping us celebrate two very special birthdays. I was also impressed by the restaurant itself. From the parking lot to the host stand, dining room, and restrooms, everything was exceptionally clean and inviting. The lighting and atmosphere were warm and relaxing--it felt upscale without being stuffy and, in many ways, felt like home. Great food may bring you to a restaurant, but great people and genuine hospitality are what bring you back. Scott, Brielle, and the entire Silver Fox team delivered both. Highly recommend Silver Fox Steakhouse in Richardson. Thank you for making our family celebration so memorable. We will definitely be back!

I showed up in jeans and a Bass Pro Shops T shirt, but they were kind enough to accommodate me anyway, which I really appreciated. The restaurant itself was beautiful. It had an upscale feel without being overly dark like some steakhouses can be, and I have to say, even the restrooms smelled amazing. It's obvious they pay attention to the little details. What truly made this a 5 star experience was our waiter, Ian. He was attentive without hovering, genuinely conversational, and incredibly knowledgeable about every cut of steak on the menu. He also shared several of their off the menu specialty cuts. He didn't just explain the food. He shared stories behind it. My favorite was when he talked about the Copper River salmon and its incredible journey upstream. It honestly felt like I was watching an episode of Discovery Channel. By the time he finished, we looked at each other and said this had to be the Rolls Royce of salmon, and I was completely convinced to order it. I ordered the Copper River salmon, served with mushroom pilaf rice and sautéed spinach. We also shared the 6 ounce filet mignon with truffle butter, along with the creamed corn and asparagus. The bread arrived warm, like it had just come out of the oven, and was the perfect way to start the meal. The salmon was absolutely delicious. The skin was a little thicker than I expected, but once you got through it, the fish practically melted in my mouth. The filet mignon with the truffle butter was incredible. My only regret is that we only ordered the 6 ounce portion. We will definitely be back, especially to try one of the off the menu specialty cuts that Ian recommended. Thank you, Ian, for making our first visit so memorable. Great food, outstanding service, and an experience that was worth every penny!

We're regulars of EG Steak up in Plano/Frisco, and I found that a much more ideal experience. PROS: - Brazilian Lemonade was very good, I was left wanting for more - Shrimp was available as an option, which I find unique for a Brazilian steakhouse - I enjoyed the picanha and the garlic steak CONS: - The atmosphere of the place is simply less formal than desired for what you're paying. It feels a bit like your local Italian joint. Tables are close together, full light blasting, cheap tablecloths and incorrect labels on the stuff at the buffet - Most of the meat we got came to us lukewarm. I only got one piece of meat that was hot - Our service wasn't very great. We kept getting repeats of the same lower quality meats we didn't enjoy, kept getting repeatedly passed up by meats we did want despite our green table indicators and trying to get the guys' attention, and couldn't really get anyone to come to our table very often. - Some of the meats just weren't good. The chicken, for example, was salty and inedible. I also found the texture of the sirloin very, very tough. The lamb was relatively flavorless. - I don't know how much of this I can attribute to the restaurant themselves, but on a Friday night, this place was littered with kids and large families that weren't under control. Kids running around, listening to YouTube videos on full volume, etc literally right next to our table. - My partner noted that it was my birthday, having seen some of the reviews about this place making it a special occasion. It wasn't acknowledged, not even a "happy birthday" from any of the staff. Overall, for just $15 more per person and a half hour drive north, just go to EG by Stonebriar. Definitely a more elevated experience for the price point.

A glass of Smithwick's draught beer, and a snack from the excellent menu brought me here, as well as the joyous & vibrant crowd. A live Irish band was setting up on the stage, but I had other things scheduled for my Saturday night. For now, college football was on the bigscreen above me, staff was busy with all seats along the bar taken, and I looked thru the amazing food menu of Irish & UK style dishes, with some San Patricio dishes from Mexico! The San Patricio Brigade of the Army of Mexico in 1846 were Irish conscripts that deserted the US Army invasion into Mexico due to Protestant American officers not allowing the Irish troops to attend Mass in the Mexican cathedrals. Then, most of the Irish "deserted", to defend Mexico from this invasion dreamed-up by U.S. President Polk to create more new States for Dixie to expand (Polk was a slave holder). The Irish ran the line of cannons for Mexico to win one battle, but Mexico was running low on bullets & supplies by now, and doomed for a loss. (If the Irish had just waited 2 more weeks, it would have been over with). Alas, the US Army quickly executed 30 of the Irish San Patricios in a mass hanging, while a group were hot-branded a letter "D" on their faces for "Deserter". (If seen again in USA, anyone could hang them) However, an untold amount escaped into the hills of Mexico, and married into the families. The Saint Patrick's Brigrade has a monument in Mexico. And USA gained the territory that Polk wanted, while a junior Congressman named Lincoln shook his head, yet had plans of his own. Meanwhile, Mexico would have another revolution in 1910, and a young Irish Mexican boy would enter USA with his family to end up in Los Angeles where young Anthony Quinn became a promising young architect, married a 35-year old woman who arranged acting lessons for him, giving the movie industry a macho man star.
