This was always a "must stop" until I retired and wasn't coming to Texas anymore. My grandson and I split the Pappadeaux Platter and it was still too much to eat for one person

    stuffed shrimp - excellent.

Had an absolutely amazing dinner in the bar area. We were able to grab seats immediately with no wait. Restaurant was clean and had an upbeat and elegant atmosphere. They have a full bar and a lot of different specialty drinks. I enjoyed both the peach martini and the espresso martini. The house salad was super fresh. The crab claws gave me life! You MUST try the sautéed crab claws. They are one of the most delicious things I've eaten in my entire life. Obsessed! The ribeye was good. The baked potato was perfection... soft and delicious. The dirty rice is packed with flavor and truly delightful. Our server, Elijah, was amazing! He provided wonderful suggestions and kind and attentive service. He also perfectly paced our meal. I highly recommend and will return.

Food was great! To start we got bread brought to our table with butter...if you dont pay attention it will be gone in minutes haha. For my dish I had the salmon alexandar which was sooooo good. The shrimp added to the flavor. At the end of the night the server showed us all the dessert options and I just couldnt help but get the creme brulee. The resturant was a bit loud but thats understandable with low lights and incoming bread, the conversations flowing at our table

I tried the blackened catfish and a loaded baked potato and both were absolutely delicious. The drinks are unbeatable just be ready to spend a little but it is definitely worth it. The customer service was fantastic and the atmosphere makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I will definitely be back soon!

First time trying Pappadeaux in Dallas and it was pretty good. Happy it was no wait for us we sat down pretty fast. For my drink I ordered the peach sidecar and it tasted delicious! Not to strong or sweet in my opinion. For food I tried the grilled chicken w/ braised greens. Appetizers were the crab fingers and mozzarella sticks. Didn't try either but it did look good. The bread and butter wasn't my fav, it could have been hot and fresh. The service was decent a 4/5 for me for sure! Pretty attentive and fast. The ambiance is nice and extremely spacious!! A lot of seats and good table room. Plenty of parking!

They have brought back HAPPY HOUR at this location . The restaurant is trying to get people back out. So I dropped by to support. The prices and options for happy hour are good. The Hurricane cocktail was tasty. Catfish Beignets were crispy and came out hot. The mini crawfish and shrimp fondeaux dip was loaded with seafood. The peach sidecar not on happy hour packed a punch. It made me feel relaxed and happy. The service was fairly good. The staff pleasant for the most part. Ambiance is always a Louisiana vibe and feels fun in the bar area. Overall my experience went well. I like lunch better and will stick with that. Hoping they win back the people. It was a bit empty inside.

The Pasta Mardi Gras was absolutely delicious. The dish was well prepared and full of flavor. The wait wasn't too long, and the service was excellent. I would definitely come back to try something different on my next visit.

This location was top tier in every aspect. The occasion was my birthday. I was accommodated from beginning to end. My party increased and they ensured I had the right amount of seats available. The waitresses assisted us in every way no delay. The Food was amazing as usual! Well cooked, well seasoned, correct. It was all good. I had a great birthday dinner.

Keep it coming Papas Brothers! Rolled in for lunch and found a line 10 deep at the hostess stand. Glanced over and saw 5-6 unbussed tables Looked left....vacant bar...go My go to order of Texas Redfish Pontchartrain was superb as always. A large portion of perfectly sauteed Redfish filet with a shrimp and crab sauce. Washing all down with a Perfect Patron margherita,I left a happy camper and you will too! Go!

Food was good, over crowded so service was slow, overpriced and hyped. Dark room. Not a fan.

The staff are always friendly, attentive and professional. There's always pop music playing in the background that you Don't have to try and talk over. The bartender has such a sunny and sweet demeanor. I am giving her a 6 out of five. My drink was the painkiller, I am giving that a five out of five. So wherever I go I order fried green tomatoes. Now I am conflicted. The green tomatoes were almost ripe. However, the seasoning, the breading, and the shrimp on top were seasoned to perfection. So altogether I will give a 2.5.I didn't order red fried tomatoes. I had the Haddock and Linguine. I don't have to have it again. The Haddock tasted burnt on the bottom. Now I know it could have been delicious because when I put it in the sauce with capers it tasted much better. I am giving the dish a 2. My partner had the oysters they said they have had better broiled oysters and gave them a 3. However, their main dish they give a 4.5. Total experience is an honest for me 3.8. I will round up and give them a four. Try it for yourself you may like it.

At 32 degrees, the world is right…read more I have felt that way since I was but a student at Collin College, but there is something about this place that makes me smile, and I bet it would make you smile too. The bar is lit in a way that makes you want to stay and chat. The only thing lovelier than the bartenders (that have been the same for years) was the loveliest companion that accompanied me most recently, and held such a wonderful conversation. There is a lot to the atmosphere here, both inside and outside, with the inside feeling like an intimate event, and the patio being a party starter. They often have live acoustic music outside, but it isn't brash or overwhelming. Usually one person and a guitar with a small amp. Nothing crazy. I haven't had pizza in one million years, but if I were going to break the streak it would be here. It's got a real artisan feel and taste that can't be beat. If you dine in, I recall they had the bread strips they bring out - GREAT stuff. If you aren't sure what to get, go for that Texas Mule. Tito's...Ginger Beer... need I say more? If you live here and haven't been here - you are missing out. If you are passing through, stop in. It's a "go-to" for me the two times I am in Plano each year. I might have to simply go visit again just for the experience and company.
