I've been here two times. The first time was because they said free sample. Sampled the ribs. They are very good. Went by today, I got three meats and two sides. Because they were out of sausage, and brisket, and the pulled pork...I got double ribs and chicken. The sides where macaroni and cheese, and potatoe salad. The ribs are probably the best I've ever tasted, from any bbq place! Fall off the bone, tender and very tasty. The chicken was very good also, it to was very tender and lots of flavor. Their macaroni and cheese was really good and cheesy. There was a couple things that made me give 4 instead of 5 stars. The potatoe salad tasted exactly like the stuff you get at your local frys or Walmart. The owner said they made it themselves...but I would bet money it came from a grocery store. Another thing is the "spicey bbq sauce was very tart, and tasted funny. They said they used their regular sauce and add Louisiana hot sauce. They also don't remove the silver skin from back of ribs. And the last thing is I really wanted to try the brisket, and the sausage. Brisket was on the grill and still had to cook some more. Went in to chat with the owner, he was awesome, they had some sausage, he made me a sausage sandwich with beans on top....dude...that was one of the best things I've ate in a long time, the sausage was spicy, mixed with their beans, it soaked into the bread and was incredible! Last thing is their regular bbq sauce was really good too. I'll defiantly go back, recommend to go and try it. read more

WELL WELL WELL!!! You guys! My husband and I have been searching for a place to eat awesome BBQ in the west valley Peoria area for a year now. We have searched high and low and have stopped at many of places and BBQ trucks and have been disappointed every time!!! We were even to the point of giving up and decided to give one last place a try. We walked in and right away we were greeted by two nice ladies. I immediately noticed homemade pies on the counter. I ordered hot link dinner Mac n cheese and baked beans. My husband ordered pulled pork No bbq sauce. We rushed home took my first bite of Mac N Cheese and I was so happy that it was really homemade Mac n cheese. I ate it all first it was so delicious omg. The baked beans fabulous. Then the hot link. Just the right size the right spice the right everything!!! Then the pulled pork it was stupendous!!! Nice n moist not dry at all and no fat the smoke flavor in both the link and the pulled pork was spot on. We couldn't be happier. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know. I started to call the restaurant personally, but I don't feel that it would have made a difference ... they already received the money. I ordered a rib tip dinner , with two sides . The tips were well done and although I recieved a nice portion , it was a large portion of what should have been trash . .....And no eatery utensils or napkins ... Very very disappointing read more

Let me start off by saying there service is not good, food even worse. Prices on there website are wrong. When you get there they have another price thats more and depending on what you get they add an additional $4. So right then I knew I was in trouble and should have just walked out. Very disappointed! Ordered BBQ pork and Ribs with no sauce, they put sauce on it anyways. They tried to fix it and gave me BBQ pork and Rib tips. I did not want rib tips, I wanted ribs! :( Did not find out till I got home. Called this place back and they told me they would text me with a Free code to replace the mistake. Never got that texted! Its not like I would have went back anyways. I would not eat that food if it was free. Absolutely horrible, save your $$$$! I am sure this place will not be in business long. read more

New owner and a nice guy. But..... I went last Sunday looking for some good bbq. I went and spent 130 bucks on 2. "Super slabs", Baked beans, and green beans. Let's talk about the ribs. Nothing was fresh. He microwaved my the ribs in 4 different batches. When they where actually cooked. Who knows. After the where microwaved they where then tossed in 2 different kids of bbq sauce. When I got home and ate them you could obviously tell that the ribs where not fresh at all and if I where to guys cooked days before. The green beans. The where canned green beans which there is nothing wrong with that. But with the added salt to already salted canned green beans they where to salty to eat really. And then there is his famous baked beans as he put it. They where canned beans. Nothing fancy. I'm all about supporting local businesses, but sorry. I won't be back for microwaved ribs and canned food. I would not recommend this place at all. Two stars because the owner and a nice attitude on life. But food? Yea, no. He hasn't been in business that long. So what I'll do in 6 months I'll go back and try again and leave another review for you all. read more

I went to this place ordered my food and starting eating, the food tasted really bad so I complained to the owner. He came reached in to my plate with his hands toke a bite and said it taste good to me and throw it back in my plate . This place should be shut down. Not a BBQ place I'd recommend! BBQ is average, and side are store bought. Salads are from a nearby grocery store, mac & cheese is Stouffer's frozen. Meats and buns are also store bought, and often are the reduced priced items that have 1 day left to be sold. read more

I visited this restaurant right before their closing time. I was given rock hard unable to chew burnt dry ribs for $20. When I tried explaining this to Wayne-the onwer the next morning, he got very upset and angry. He said I was trying to ruin his reputation because there were 5 white folks behind me. He said your black; how dare you speak bad about the ribs in front of white people and that i should know better. I didn't think nothing of because i was telling him the truth - i have nothing to hide and i wasnt yelling or anything. I explained that his wife confirmed that night the ribs were hard and i probably was given the ribs from the throw away pile. He started accusing me of being fraud, said someone sent me, and he dont trust me in front of all his customers. I don't know what's going on at the place, no one sent me - I invited myself since i was driving pass and i was given some dry rock hard ribs. I don't know what i walked into. All i know is he felt pretty threatened/offended after i explained the kind of ribs i received- the mac cheese was cold. He even told me not to go back to his business. Mind you i wasnt irrate or anything. I was heart broken after i left this place. The only nice thing I can say is he told me I was welcome back while i was leaving - but mind you he wrongfully accused me of working for some outsiders and he was telling all his customers that. Worst day ever!!! Save yourself time and heartache - DON'T SPEND YOUR MONIES AT THIS PLACE. It's not worth it. Wrong is wrong and that how i was treated when they gave me burnt dry hard ribs and when i had returned to inform them of what i was given - I hope no one else gets treated like how Wayne treated me on 4/29/22 around 12:30pm. I suggest if you have a complaint about your food, asked OR pull Wayne to the side maybe even outside so he dont wrongfully accuse you and treat you bad in front of the whole restaurant... read more

Yooo. I just had the two meat combo( all ribs) and let me say that I am seriously impressed. I love bbq and can confidently say I have found my new spot. Prices are on target and the meat just falls off the bone. Your able to taste the smokiness of the smoker and the sauce has a perfect balance between sweetness and tanginess. I ordered from this Bbq spot because I thought it would be decent Bbq. Oh how I was wrong. I ordered the ribtip dinner with Mac and Cheese, fried cabbage, chicken leg quarter dinner that was suppose to come with potato salad and red beans, a chicken sandwich with a side of greens and a large order of fries. For desert I got a slice of pecan pie and the banana pudding. The cashier/ cook told me I had to wait because there were people in front of me which is fine. I also had to wait for the chicken to finish cooking. 45 minutes later, I finally get my food. When I get home, My husband opens his container what we assumed was going to be the chicken leg quarter meal, it was a chicken back and potato salad!!! There were no red beans!! So I immediately called them to tell them about there mistake, the cashier/cook asked me was there meat on it??!!! I ordered a chicken dinner that suppose to consist of a leg quarter!! Not a back!! She proceeds to tell me that I can come back up there for a piece of chicken!! So my husband goes BACK up there only to be told that he has to wait!! Also there were a lot of people waiting for their food as well!!! This was our first and LAST experience at this establishment!!! Never again!! read more
