The young lady that first helped us (which I knew her name she was a very beautiful African American lady) was smiling and very friendly but other than that service wasn't good. OMG! Where do I start? I was pretty skeptical but decided to give it a try. I was a Naked BBQ person in a pinch but this place knocked them out! The ribs were a bit dry but still good. I was buying some cookies next door and wanted to get some dinner nearby and Rolling Smoke BBQ looked appealing. When I entered, the place was pretty empty and the woman behind the counter told me they were out of a lot of things - they start smoking in the morning and when they run out they are out. But she did have pork ribs and burnt ends left, which were the things I was most interested in. She said she'd make me a big platter with ribs and burnt ends and I ordered a side of bacon potato salad. I saw her put everything into the computer a couple times as she was working to get me a good price. The side was 8oz potato salad. Unfortunately when I got home with my order, it wasn't my order. She'd given me someone else's order entirely. Instead of several pork ribs and lots of burnt ends I had a chicken leg, some brisket, a couple pork ribs and some catfish. No potato salad, unless the tiny container was a taster, but maybe that was tartar sauce. I was happy to try so many things, but felt bad for whoever didn't get this order. By the time I realized it I was already home and wasn't going to return cold food. :( The catfish was the strange one - I wasn't sure what it was when I touched it (since it wasn't what I ordered) and upon touching it, it felt strangely wiggly. As if it was a piece of deep fried silicone or something. But we cut into it and I tried it and it was honestly my favorite thing in the whole meal! Super tasty!! When I was at the restaurant the woman told me the meats didn't have BBQ sauce on them, but when I opened up the containers, the burnt ends and the ribs did have a little sauce on them. So it was overall a super confusing situation. Bread rolls were boring, but the rest of the food was good. I'd like to actually try the bacon potato salad next time I visit. This is a super busy place so be prepared to wait on the phone and wait in line but it is totally worth it! I contacted them about having a birthday party there. I was able to get tables reserved but a bunch of us which was great. We pulled off the surprise. Unfortunately we got there at a time when they were running out of everything. We just got a couple of the dino ribs and a bunch of the beer was out of stock but we were able to try the chicken, the okra, the hush puppies, brisket, and pulled pork. I wish I would have had more background on what I was ordering or perhaps recommendations from the staff but everyone was so busy. They did have a bunch of sauces, and I tried a couple but the place was loud and full so it was a bit hard to move around. We took tons of food back home with us as well which was wonderful to eat again the next day. The wait staff Heather and Vanessa were the best ever. Restaurant Review The atmosphere was very welcoming. The service and staff were all kind and professional. 3 Star - Spare ribs were a little overdone and parts were difficult to chew. I did enjoy the flavor of bark on the ribs though. 3 Star - The brisket I am struggling with. The sauce on the brisket was sweet and with the burnt ends, just is sweet, followed by more sweet. There wasn't much of a smoke ring. The bark was almost non-existent, looking and eating more like skin than a bark. The meat almost looked boiled. But it wasn't dry really and wasn't chewy either. It had a pretty decent flavor despite these things but nothing to make sure I come back for. 3 Star - the burnt ends, texture wise, were okay, but I don't know if I'd categorize them as burnt ends. For my liking, the sauce on the burnt ends was way too sweet. I attempted adding other sauces to break through but it didn't help. 4 Star- the Mac and cheese was really wonderful. Nice amount of pepper. It wasn't too goopy but was just goopy enough. I really enjoyed the Mac. I tried each of their sauces, and I really wasn't a huge fan of any of them. A little disappointing that the plates don't come with drinks. I do have to say the amount of food I got for the price was pretty good. 3*** = Good but no separation from similar restaurants 4**** = Set themselves a part with unique food and I want to go back. 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there! read more

I came here with my family to get some lunch the other day. The faculty doesn't look like much on the outside, but the inside is pretty cute. We were greeted right away by staff. I never got names of who was working but the two girls that helped us were so amazing, helpful, and sweet. When you get your drinks there is an area for different bbq sauces. They have a few choices. The one I enjoyed most was a sweet one. I think it was called, "mamas sweet" or something similar. I personally ordered the trio meat plate. It consisted of turkey, 2 spare ribs, pulled chicken, and Mac and cheese. I had wanted loaded mashed potatoes but they said they were out. The turkey was my favorite, especially with the bbq sauce. The ribs were okay, it was more of a dry rub style and you add on which bbq you like. But I like my ribs more tender and the sauce baked on. The pulled chicken was also good, it tasted how it should. Nothing too special about that part. My boyfriend got the brisket Mac and cheese wrap. He said it was very good and ate it very quickly. I didn't personally try it. My daughter's kids meal was pretty big in size! The burger was also really good, I would order a burger myself next time because I enjoyed it so much. Just good flavor on the meat. In the drink area they have some kool aid options that are pretty good. I did have to water it down for my daughter, as well as myself. Overall, I would definitely return here! Was helping my son move and he suggested Rollin Smoke for lunch. Best BBQ ever! Walked in and was greeted right away. The menu was expansive and explained very well. We tried the beef ribs, pork ribs, brisket and pulled pork. All were tasty and tastefully done. The greens were OMG good! Baked beans were amazing and the Mac n cheese was off the chain! With one TV for your favorite game. I spoke with Amairany (hope I spelled that correctly) and along with being helpful with menu suggestions and describing all the menu to me she mentioned the original location is out of Vegas. Very popular from what I understand. I had the pulled chicken, brisket and sausage and tried 3 out of 6 BBQ sauces available. From original to spicy to mustard based. Try them all I'm sure you'll have a favorite real quick. The meats were all delicious tasted fresh. You will not be disappointed. You can wash it all down with a fountain drink or even kool-Aid. The bathrooms are you clean and made me happy. They do have shirts and caps so you can take a souvenir because I'm sure you'll eat all your food. Let me start by saying, we've had take-out from here for a while and the first few times we loved it. I would've given it 5 stars, if it was the first time we had it. The ends weren't as "burnt" as they should've been and their sides have been lackluster. Anyway, we decided to go and dine inside the other day. We were hoping for a better meal, trying to rekindle the first few times we had it. It was okay... First off, the staff are really friendly, the dining room is roomy and inviting. But, when we started our order, we were told they didn't have the turkey, chicken or burnt ends and no mac & cheese were ready. We arrived about 11:30ish, they open at 11, so there's no way they could already be out of that many things. Hubby really wanted the chicken (he'd had it previously and really liked it), so he wasn't happy to start with. We both decided to get 2 Meat Plates with Brisket and Spare Ribs. I got the Candied Yams as my side...Hubby got the Corn Bread. Honestly, the best thing on my plate were the yams, they were wonderful!!! My brisket was so fatty and the ribs were okay, but not great. Hubby's brisket was definitely leaner than mine. We did order some mac & cheese once it was ready (we were finished with our food), and it was alright. Considering it was freshly made, I was expecting it to be a little better, though. And, we placed an order for burnt ends to take home. We did have to wait a bit for them and when we got home...they were so fatty and hard to eat. My rating is based on all our orders, so decided to give it an average. Great bbq spot! We had the 5 meat, 3 side meal for our family. Awesome quality meat, sauce, and sides. Coming from Alabama, my standards are high for bbq. I loved the ribs- not fatty great texture, pulled pork was great portion, brisket and turkey good too! Thankful to have a resturant that has fried okra and collard greens (cooked with pepper sauce as it should be), and Mac and cheese was very flavorful! Overall I would rate the brisket a 4 out of 10. At $18 a half lb come on rollin boys you can do better than that. The potato salad I could not eat. This coming from a potato salad lover. It was dry, no taste except for a pint of bacon bits, so gross, not real bacon. How can you wreck a potato salad. It's almost impossible. Table and chairs very uncomfortable aka fast food. I have mixed feelings. I went for takeout. The good: the catfish was cooked perfectly. The brisket was good. The collard greens were spicy. I loved the bbq sauce. Not pictured was the mac n cheese. It was made with cavatapi pasta and was served Al dente. The sauce it was served in was yummy...I thought maybe it had a hint of truffle? The bad: I hate terms of endearment. I was called "honey" "sweetie" and "babe" about 5 times in my short stay to grab my takeout order by the server. It's condescending and unnecessary. This plate cost me $25. I thought there would be more food for $25. This plate was not worth $25. It was worth about $15 ($18 top end). I was up charged $4 for the catfish, otherwise the plate was $21. I added on the Mac n cheese because I really wanted to try it and my bill came to $32. The collard greens, while spicy, didn't really have much flavor other than that. I don't think I'll return. Been here several times and it was amazing. Been a while but decided wanted BBQ. It wasn't as good tonight. Brisket was very chewy the pulled pork and turkey just ok. Ordered the onion strings had to wait . We were almost done with meat. They were lukewarm warm and only about 1/2 an order. Waitress did put in another order which was much better. The only thing with both orders of the onion strings we had to ask where they were and when are they coming. There was only one other couple in there. Disappointing tonight!! Maybe just an off night. Front of house staff was nice and friendly. That's about the only positive thing I can say about the rest of the experience. Came on 9/6/25 around 2:13p. Place kinda quiet, not many people. Tried to order the rib platter, they're out of baby back ribs, strike one. Ordered a full rack of beef ribs instead. Wow, dry and salty. I've visited the Las Vegas locations multiple times (in fact, Rollin Smoke Highland Branch is my go to restaurant whenever I'm in Vegas). I was expecting fall off the bone rib meat like the other locations, sorely disappointed! I didn't even start on the 2nd rib, packed it right up to go (not wasting food).
