This was my first time visiting this nail salon, and I left as a very satisfied customer! I recently moved to this area and was looking for a new nail salon. After my experience here, I genuinely feel like I found the right place. From the moment I called to ask about pricing, Vivian made such a great first impression. Since they don't list their prices online, I had quite a few questions about full sets, pedicures, and add-ons. She was incredibly patient, answered every question thoroughly, and even told me to ask for her when I arrived. When I got there, Vivian immediately remembered our phone conversation and greeted me warmly. I only waited about 10 minutes before one of the gentlemen invited me to sit in a massage chair and soak my feet while they prepared a technician since they were busy. He also offered me a complimentary drink they have mimosas, wine, Coke, Diet Coke, and water which was such a nice touch. When I showed Vivian the exact nail color I wanted, she didn't try to convince me to choose something else or tell me it wasn't possible. She knew exactly what I was looking for and got right to work. Tracy later helped finish my nails, and together they did an amazing job. I left with exactly what I had envisioned. My nails came out beautiful, the service was friendly and attentive from beginning to end, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work I received. For me, great customer service, fair pricing, and quality work are what turn a first-time customer into a loyal one. I think I found my new nail salon, and I'll definitely be coming back. How this nail salon has 4.3 ratings confuses me... absolutely run. I was the 1st customer of the day... literally. I got a full set and pedicure with NO MASSAGE OR LOTION. Color? white... plain white. Medium length, coffin shape. Pedicure water was cold and the water filling the bowl smells of sulphur. Lady kept touching her personal phone then my feet... no gloves... no mask... AND she wiped her nose with her own shirt! Guy doing full set thinks he knowssss what he is doing... far from it honey. My nails are sooo messed up... high sides... low sides... uneven... crooked... eventually I could tell if I was to 'correct him' I would be in that chair for several hours and he's not going to get it correct. Speaking of the chair... it was broken... you can't even see the display screen. You turn it on and it's massaging but you can't see sh*t to turn off certain parts... then when I decided I've had enough torture, the paying kiosk was broken (screen damaged and you can't see anything). Review is long, but it is worth! I went just once for a regular mani pedi with polish only and the second from cheapest feet scrub option. I wanted it to work! They did give me a water! However. Firstly (haha), they didn't have the specific shade and wanted to replace, I didn't mind and chose another, and they brought the wrong one altogether and said the color was almost the same. Then... my nail beds and nail sides were painted over, the service took more time than usual for the simplicity, the artist didn't fix the overpainting she did in some areas after the service while she overcorrected in others, taking paint off of the nail sides with polish remover. Crazy work. To make it even better, at the end of the service I saw that she used the same tools on another person, no UV sanitation or hydrogen peroxide cleanse between us, nothing! Even the bottom-of-foot scrubber bar AND the metal tool was reused. Then today, I remove the toenail polish and I have nail fungus. I won't go back. And probably won't get another mani pedi anywhere. It was a lil treat since I never really pamper myself and all it took was once with this place. Haha not to mention the broke down vibes. Tore up from the floor up. My foot bath kept having problems to where the tech had to stop and fix it. The decor. My chair didn't work and tech took a remote from another chair to swap, it still did not function. I just fawned at this point and let it happen to me, I figured it's just small issues, no matter. Until today's nail fungus. It is very contagious and can be difficult to remedy. The host is nice and he sat me down to fix the poor girl's "work." Good luck to this place and any who do less than an acrylic nail set or refill. Don't let them use pedicure tools on ya! Great service! Amy is the only who is able to do my lashes. She hired another tech , a year ago, and she was not as great as Amy. If you for lashes only deal with Amy. There is a price for initial install and refills. It takes her about an hour for install and refills. She only works by appointments and is always busy. Oh, and my lashes last about 3 weeks. Sarah and Tommy are always busy bc of the quality of service they provide. Sarah is great with selecting colors that compliment your skin. Vivan is a great nail tech as well. Prices are average. I am thinking the 5 stars reviews for this place are more for the eyebrows than the nails. Again, I went in search of a place that can professionally do dip powder nails. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted warmly and asked to wait 5-10 minutes. So I choose my color and had a seat, and soon after the nail tech (didn't get a name) came to retrieve me. She sat me down and let me tell you ...she was fast, fast, fast! She got my old dip off quickly and got started on the new dip. I like fast, but not at the expense of accuracy. She did my nails, soak off, new dip layers, dried and cuticle oil, in probably under 30 minutes. This means some of them are uneven, my cuticles are sore from the electronic filer nicking them repeatedly, some are very skinny because she filed too rigorously and altered the shape of my nail bed, and she left a lot of powder around my cuticle which is now dried hard. She then proceeded to do a gel top coat like the last place I went! I'm not sure why this is a thing. It seems that dip top coat should work fine to avoid the UV light, which is part of the whole phenomenon of what makes dip a great alternative to gel. The nails look pretty good but not 5 star level. We will see if they hold up. As far as the place itself, it seemed a little cluttered and less than tidy, but not dirty. Lacked ambiance as many nail salons do on this side of town. I think I will have to keep searching for a new nail salon. If anyone knows of a great place to get dip powder nails in North Houston, please PM me! read more

I've never had done my eyelashes since 10 yrs ago cuz of my experience I had a bad reaction like I got all my eyes itchy. Me and my aunt decided to do eyelashes so I saw Amy's salon and I said I'm gonna try it once again to have an eyelash extension and I never regret it she is AWESOME!
