Don't come here !!!! I came in to get my acrylic nails and toes removed and a stone pedicure. This man at the front charged me $15 to remove my nails bcus in his words "they are long nails" so that's the fee mind you the lady clipped them off with the nail clipper. The toes removal was $10 and my pedicure was $35 the lady who did my pedi was amazing .... I'll NEVER come back to a money hungry establishment. read more

I actually really appreciated my experience here at Vivi Nails. It was a very busy Saturday so I called ahead to see what the current wait time would be. I was given information and told that they would be able to accommodate me immediately. I was paired with Zoe (unsure of the exact spelling of her name). She was an amazing technician. Her attention to detail was everything! She completed my shellac mani and regular pedi with care and attentiveness. Was friendly when first came in, but once I sat down they completely ruined the atmosphere. She started my nails and I kept having to tell her I was asking for coffin shape, and also had to continuously ask her to file the nail down which she refused. All the sizes are messed and not the same and extremely fat, and the color is staining my skin for some reason. Would NEVER suggest or come here again. The worst nails I have ever gotten. She also kept burning my skin when filing my nails and a bunch of bumps throughout my nails. I don't know if it was the first time this lady has done nails but she did a terrible job. Edit: Went back in to get them redone, I highly suggest asking for Lyly (Lillie), she fixed my nails just right and they look amazing now. read more

I've been coming here to get my manicure and pedicure done for the past couple of years but today, I'm a bit disappointed with the tech that did my shellac manicure. The gel are really thick and had bumps on most of of my fingernails, some were not dry as it should have. Also, underneath my nails, the gel are so thick and are bothering me. I feel like I have crazy glue on my nails and they're actually my real nails. I usually don't write bad reviews but the service here has went down. I paid my bill and l I want to take the time to give an update regarding my review. Vivian reached out to me and apologized in regards to the service I had and offered for me to come back in to have my nails fixed. Took me some time but I made it back in and she fixed my nails and I walked out a happy costumer again. This is what I call great costumer service. I don't give 5 star reviews often, but after coming here for over 3 years and getting great service, I decided they've earned it. I have been to a number of nail salons in the area and Vivi is the cleanest & nicest one around. Everyone here is good, but Michelle does my gel manicures and Rose does my gel pedicures. My nails look so perfect when I leave that they look photoshopped! I highly recommend this salon. Ask for Michelle, Vivian, Annie, Rose or Vanessa. The only negative here is they are in a flood zone and they have been hit twice :( read more

I am very happy with how my Shellac turned out, being my very first time here. However, I definitely will not be returning simply because they wanted to charge me an extra $5 to cut my cuticles with the $33 dipping powder service I requested (and then there was the confusion about me wanting to keep my nails long which the tech interpreted as me wanting long acrylic nails). So, long story short I switched over to shellac because it was cheaper at $29 dollars AND it includes cuticle cutting! Ummm the $33 service doesn't include the cuticles, but the cheaper $29 one does?! I know not every salon is meant to be run the same way as a business, but I thought cuticle cutting was part of all manicure services no matter what type of color service you get. I only stopped by here because it was in my vicinity and I was dying to get my nails done, but I'll keep returning to my usual place where shellac includes filing, trimming, soaking, cuticle cutting, etc. for $25! read more

I moved to houston in December of 2017; I live literally across the street still & have been coming here since my move.. these ladies do a wonderful job, always have. I loved this salon originally but now under its new management it seems to run a lot smoother & is actually busier! Angie, Helen & Stacy have all worked on my claws many times & all remember me from when I had hurt my leg really bad, was on crutches. Remember small details & make me feel like so welcome! I went here because it was close to my area and it was not a fancy place. I can't remember the last manicure I've had, but my nails were begging for help with cuticles. I announce upon arrival that I just want a basic manicure nothing fancy or exotic. I was handed off to Lynn, who most likely thought oh boy! She waited no time jumping in with all the expertise she commanded. She was gentle, but effective. When it came time for the polish, I whipped out my own bottle of clear Strong Wear by Revlon that I'd had for a good long while. It's my go-to when the thumb nail was start to split mid-nail. That happened a lot as I don't work outside the home, but I do most of whats needing inside and outside. That's hard on the hands and nails. I was very happy with the steps needed to make my nails look good and feel so much better. I've gone around all day admiring them and thinking that I've found my nail care place and I'll call and make an appointment with Lynn next time before my nails are begging for aid. Hmmm. I have used this place for 3 years for mostly pedicures. Recently I had shellac done and by the end of the night the color got weird and turned from pink to orange. I called and of course they offered to fix it which they did. But, I had to inconveniently drive back over there and spend another hour to fix what should not have happened. P.S. this happened once before with them last year. I was told that brand of polish was no good. Then why offer it as a selection? Clean out and rotate old polish. read more

Interior is great. Relaxing environment. They mix their polish with this really cool, vibrating machine instead of banging it on their hand. I noticed the polish was sticky when he verified my color choice but after letting it shuck n jive in the machine, the polish glided on nice & smooth. They did a great job on my nails and toes. I wore sandals I should not have, as they were difficult to put on. My polish messed up on my big toe. The tech had no problem fixing it. Actually she took off all the polish and totally re did the nail ....instead of trying to touch up the botched job. I really appreciated this. The guy doing my nails. Bless his heart. He was so sweet, talked and engaged. I told him I hadn't slept because I work nights and have been running errands. For 45 minutes he poked and asked about marriage, divorce, kids, work, why I need to make so much money, how I need to get out and live. I finally said, very nicely "I'm as happy as I've ever been, I love my life". He finally stopped. Then he aggravated me. He kept asking if I was sure I wanted my requested pedicure color/design. I felt like I had to explain I usually get plain colors but want to jazz it up. Whatever. Then he was talking bad about customers. They close at 6 on Sunday's, a lady walked in at 5:45 and he said something like- are you serious? We close at 6. So damn rude. Why do people do that? Some people come in and are nice enough to acknowledge we close soon and come back a different day. But some people like that don't care. I did joke with him about the topic because I was in shock. Perhaps I should have told him that is not very professional. First- online it says they are open until 7:30. Second- turn the OPEN light off if you don't want people coming in. Third- never complain to other customers about customer service! Overall I enjoyed my time and they did a great job. But a sour taste was left in my mouth. Plus a lady got a lower "class" (if you will) pedi and I noticed she got an arm and neck massage. I got mani and pedi and only got my hands massaged for less than 2 minutes. I wanted one of those. I might go back considering their work is some of the best I've encountered. I heard others saying their nails were Awesome or perfect. And I did notice women with acrylics looked natural. Made me want them for a second! All of the staff was courteous, professional and smiling except this on fella. read more

I went for my birthday and used the 10% discount texted to me so I had been there before. Worst birthday present to myself ever. I made an appointment on Monday for Tuesday at 5:30PM. And I researched the prices on their website so I could anticipate the charges. The tech that did my pedicure was good. Nail tech no! I told them starting off I did not want rounded and DO NOT make them shorter. Well after moving from my pedicure chair to the front she proceeded to do a couple nails pointed. I said no pointed. She just laughed and said I thought you said rounded. I said no I did not. Then my nails did not match length so we had to make them even shorter. By the way they still did do not match. After all of this they still charged me $95 for a dip fill and a shellac basic pedicure. The man would not change the charges. Even after I said he over charged me and I was unhappy he refused to adjust the charges. Not going back and not recommending to ANYONE!! read more

I got a good manicure and pedicure but I really wanted a combo of powder and shellac on my nails which has worked well for me in the past and they acted like that was just something that really wasn't worth it. I was also looking for a specific color and no one seemed interested in helping me find it. Finally a very friendly young lady (Luna, I believe) found me a color close to what I wanted. The place could be spruced up and dusted a little. As happens in many salons I really don't like it when people are talking across the room and all around you in a language you can't understand. The worst nail salon experience ever twice! I used to visit VIVÍ all the time before this new management but I will NEVER come back. This Saturday, I had a rude technician that got frustrated during the service and snatched my hand because I could not understand her and she could not understand me. She drilled my nails so thin that one of my nails has a hole in the middle!!!! Look, we all have bad days but snatching my hand was unacceptable and I asked for another person. The other person told me I had nail fungus which is crazy because the last time I got my nails done in November was in fact Viví so if I have it, it came from them! Fast forward to Tuesday, one of my nails already broke so I went back to have it fixed. She told me that I gave her a small tip on Saturday which was rude. Then she told me that she would fix one time for free but the next time is a charge, again this was rude. Then she says she forgot to charge me for the nail medicine she gave me on Saturday and asked me to pay for it although it was her mistake. At this point, I was flabbergasted and told her no. She acted like I went behind the counter and stole it. She took it from behind the counter, put it in the bag with my shoes and gave it to me! She said well she was busy when she rang me up and forgot she gave it to me. Excuse me?! I told her I'll just bring it back because I don't like your attitude as if it's my fault you forgot to ring it up. She told me to leave and I told her I will never come back to this unprofessional place! They did a horrible job with my hands. Everyone I encountered was rude and inconsiderate. They will damage your nails and get mad at you for calling them out on their poor customer service. They're also creative with their charges and their was additional $1 or$2 on my final bill. If I didn't need to get my nail fixed, I wouldn't have even bothered. I didn't even have my nails done 3 whole days before they started to lift and pop off! Each time you go will probably be a different charge for the same service. Don't waste your time, money or jeopardize the health of your nails at this place! They should be shut down. If I could give negative zero stars, I WOULD! Do NOT patronize this place. read more
