I left happy with my pedicure but I'm leaving 4 stars because of the nail salon as a whole plus my experience when I first walked in. I called ahead of time asking if they had time for a pedicure, and they did. I walked in and was immediately told to sit in the first pedi chair, and to choose my color. Cool. 5-10 mins pass by and I asked the man at the front of it was possible to go ahead and start the water. He politely said no, and that the lady would be with me in 5 mins. I said okay. A lady did come (didn't say hello or offer massage chair or anything) and didn't know how to start the water so she started trimming my toe nails, but didn't look confident using the nail clippers at all. She cut a tiny bit then stared at the nail to see if it was straight then went to the next one. I think she spent 10 mins barely cutting and filing the nails. I almost left. After she sat the filer down I asked "Could you please cut some more?" and the nail lady next to our chair told me she would cut for her in one minute. I nicely said okay okay, so lady got up and went to nail chair and I waited another 5 mins. Probably 25 mins passed before the actual pedi started but I loved Kayla! I want her again!! I think the first lady was in training maybe. Another lady came back from lunch and she was super awesome with clients walking in- offering the menu, massage chair, etc. I didn't get that but that's okay. This rating is based on my experience today... I arrived right before 930 am and asked for Brian. The gentleman in the front mentioned "oh yes, he will be here soon you can have a seat at his station" I sat and my wait was about 15 to 20 minutes (which to me was long) being that I was trying to get a simple refill with powder.... So, here is where it gets confusing, Brian comes and I explain to him what I wanted and that was white powder. He goes on this rant about why I need to get rid of the set I had on which were on the yellow color side and how it wouldn't work and I said "why wouldn't it work can we at least try" he then goes on to say " if you want you can go somewhere else" and I was like " why are you talking to me like this? After I bring you plenty of customers" And he goes on to say "do you want it or not"... Cutting this long story short. The end result, I allowed him yo do my nails and in the end he says "if you feel like we are overpriced you can go somewhere else " I said to him " Overpriced??? You all are the CHEAPEST in the area AND I come here because I USED to like the service here" listen, I am tired of putting my money into these establishments that feel like they can talk and treat ppl anyhow. We had been going to another nail salon (Royal Nails on 1960) that I introduced to my friends but we quickly stopped going once they became rude to my friends. They turned us away as walk-ins and said they were "too busy" when you could clearly see other employees in the back just chilling. Now, I may not know the circumstances behind it but we were willing to wait no matter how long but they'd still turn us away. I enjoyed going to Royal Nails, they have good nail techs but their service just went down the drain. In search for a new nail salon, which is literally THE HARDEST. My friend introduced me to Fancy Nails on Bammel. When we walked in, it was empty and their were only three employees which worried me. I got a pedicure and manicure and it was my first time trying white which made everything a little more scary. My nails came out absolutely great, my toes have never looked this good EVER. Not to mention I only paid $50 for both manicure and pedicure, which was a shocker for us. I noticed that ALL the employees are really good and precise with what they do so it makes me feel better because I know whoever I go to, they won't let me leave looking like a mess. One more thing, while my friend and I were there. It became EXTREMELY busy, I never even saw it this busy at Royal Nails. Ryan assisted them and told them it would be a wait but the other employees who were busy never rushed to finish up their work. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it is close to home but my first experience was disappointing. I called at 11am on a Friday to make an appointment for 5:30pm. I arrived at 5:20 and they were busy. 4 people doing nails and two people doing pedicures. I was sat at the first table around 5:45 and waited for ONE HOUR after my appointment for someone to start on my nails. I asked for coffin shape and ombré. I did like the shape all except one nail was crooked and the ombré was ok, it could have been blended more. I think she was ready to go because she didn't clean my fingers at the end and I noticed that the color doesn't cover the tip of the nails maybe a careless mistake trying to rush to finish. I never been insulted in my life the couple first times I went to Kelly and Ryan I absolutely loved my nails up until today 5-24, I would say my 3rd time going she used a chrome the polish must have been old it started peeling within the next couple days I texted Kelly and told her that I needed a polish changed made an appointment when I got there she made me wait 45 mints I was highly upset! Came for a pedicure with my daughter... Explain to them that I had psoriasis on my heels in the beginning... Maybe sit in the chair for an hour and a half not even a foot soak while I waited. we had a 130 appointment didn't come over to take care of me until three and then proceeded to tell me that they wouldn't take care of my feet... I've had plenty of pedicures with psoriasis I just don't think they knew what it was and decided against it... I showed the lady a picture of basic plain white nails that were long and shaped more flat. She put on short tips and her application was slow and she was rushing as ppl came. The ending result was bumpy and crooked. I do my own nails and came here to pamper myself for my bday. So upset at the results. The mistakes made were visibly noticeable even from the technicians POV. I won't be coming back bc this reminds me why I do my own nails to begin with. Also I'm allergic to HEMA which is a harmful ingredient in gel polish and acrylic. A nail salon that has this chemical in their products is using non FDA approved products. The allergic reaction causes rashes anywhere in the body and I have itchy nail beds . Don't go here. Ik the reviews are good bc of service but in a rush they get messy. read more

Please give them a try, I just got a pedicure and the thing I loved right off the back is they pulled the utensils from the sanitation heat bin and they where packaged, I'm big on sanitation so I was very impressed by that. Nail Shops hVe stopped properly sanitizing their utensils but not this salon. The older lady has done a FABULOUS job on my pedicure, polished to perfection. I'm so picky but I am very satisfied. Don't waste your time or your money. I paid $87 total for a full set ($65) and pedicure ($22). Which wouldn't have been a problem if done properly... I had to tell them more than twice to fix my nails. At first the guy (Ryan) started doing my nails and was putting acrylic on my natural nail without the tip despite me saying I wanted a full set. When I tried to tell him again i wanted tips he said "i know i know" and continued... he finished the whole hand putting acrylic on my natural nails and asked if I liked them... I told him no? Because I asked for a full set with tips and he proceeded to tell me that if i wanted them like that I needed to tell him in the beginning... but I did?.... Another lady proceeded to do my nails and rushed... the gems were crooked, my fingers were left with residue, there was build up under my nails and on some nails there were weird little black specs which he told me could not be taken off because the nails were done... I asked for half my money back and they refused. This place use to be amazing and I use to love it as it was my go to place.. Idk what happened this place has turned to shit. read more

Customer service here really does suck! I got my nails done and they were pretty but broke the SAME DAY. I had to nail glue my nails for an event that night I got them done for! The quality of their work is not good! They rush through and even if you set an appointment you're waiting. I went bacK twice for them to fix their mess up and keep in mind I live 25 mins away. The first time they told me come back in an hour but closed in an hour so I decided to go home and try a couple days later. Again they didn't have time to fix their mess up! I always like the way my nails look but they NEVER last as long as they are supposed to and again they're always rushed because they do not know how to manage their appointments! Maybe they should just stick to painting nails at this salon! I will never visit Fancy Nails again or take them another customer EVER!!!!!
