Then I tried to call the office but no response to see what happened , I was getting ready and all and knew I couldn't make it that early, so I rebooked to my original time slot & 20 mins before my appt someone else reaches out saying if I want to rebook for another day or any other esthetician available today.. well I booked any other available ( I was ready to head out ) ... well they messaged back saying no one is available and to pick another day... so well they cancelled me... It is always a hit or miss with getting someone who makes you feel comfortable during the process of getting waxed. Typically I go in for the Brazilian wax, which is already awkward to begin with. I have been waxed by people who rush through the process and don't care to interact. This is not a good customer experience. Today I got Courtnay and my experience with her inspired me to come give this location a review. Courtnay was extremely pleasant front the start and she cared enough to take her time as well as be friendly during the process. Courtnay talked me through the minor pain and made the whole experience really awesome! This was my first time with Courtnay and I will definitely be requesting to have all my future appointments with her. Great job and awesome service!!

She made me feel extremely comfortable, informed about the process, while being very professional. Initially it can be a bit confusing finding the place, but look for the French Quarter Salon. It's a grand looking place in the middle of 2920 with a pretty little body of water in front. There's other empty looking plazas in front but take a drive all the way behind those, and you'll find a parking lot, to park by the French Quarter Salon. This place is extremely huge, and seems like a building filled with beauty various treatment businesses, so don't get too confused and just ask the ladies in front where to go. I got a bit confused and almost ended up going up the stairs, but decided to save myself possible embarrassment and just asked. The women at the front directed me on how to contact Monique for my appointment while I waited in the lobby. As for the entire experience, Monique gave me a sit down of the products she used, some useful tips, and answered any questions I had. While being waxed, she was very informative about what was going on as well as entertaining! It's weird to say, but I actually enjoyed coming here to get waxed. There was lots of conversation that helped me get my mind off of what was going on, and I actually felt little to no pain during the whole process. Nothing bad to comment on at all. I'll be coming back for another appointment in the future and do recommend any first timers to visit her and make an appointment on her website. If you're new at waxing or would just like to try Pristine Body Studio, Monique offers a free first time armpit or eyebrow wax.
