Wonderful experience coming here and exploring the facility and all that it has to offer! Everyone is professional and friendly, and had a gentleman by the name of Konnor show me some equipment around the facility and answered plenty of my questions. Very friendly staff and would highly recommend and encourage for first timers and veteran gun owners! read more

I purchased a Glock Model 45 from Michelle and returned to train with Kris Wanga. Kris is a former Marine and being a former Army Captain I was thoroughly impressed with not only his Training knowledge, but also his Training communication and technique. I left feeling very comfortable with the Pistol and he met every Training objective I had. Highly recommend Kris and TGE for all of your Gun needs. Semper Fi Kris! read more

Trevor was very straight forward and honest. He helped me out with figuring out what firearm was right for me and finding all the attachments that will work with it. Highly recommend this place! read more

I love their service department. Corey and Megan I believe are some of the nicest individuals! They helped me out with my invoice and made sure it was fulfilled. Extremely professional with a positive attitude that is hard to come by. I really appreciate y'all and highly recommend them. read more

I visited Texas Gun Experience for the first time today. I think someone forgot to tell them that we are in the middle of a pandemic. Seriously, their inventory of guns and ammunition is superb. I was able to purchase exactly what I needed with no price gouging. I have a new LGS. read more

Great gun experience and facilities! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The only down side, as with most indoor ranges, is I am also a collector and hand loader and want to test the accuracy of my hand loads and firearms. I don't shoot just to hear my gun go bang. There is no area where you can comfortably bench rest. Today there were guys shooting full auto rifles next to me and it is very difficult to not react to those bursts of rounds right next to you. I didn't stay long because it would have been a waste of valuable ammunition. That said they have about the best facility and staff you will find in the state. Go and Enjoy! read more

Trevor Tull was an amazing crew member! He helped us with everything we need to know about our new perchase.

My experience with customer service here was terrible. I walked in ready to buy a hand gun that day. I walked into the store and looked around. After waiting patiently for 15 minutes, not even being acknowledged by any employee behind the counter (not even so much as an "I'll be with you in a moment", I tracked down an employee and asked for help and told them I was ready to buy a handgun today. This employee then proceeded to ask someone to help me and they told him they were, and I quote, "I am busy now" and walked off. Ten more minutes go buy and I finally get some help. The weapon I wanted had to be special ordered, no problem. The employee told me his sales manger, and I wish I knew his name so I could call him out, would contact me. I asked when and he said he want sure. Three days go by and no call from the sales manager. I call the store. I explained my situation to the young lady, she was extremely nice, and promised me she would personally deliver my message to the sales manager and he would call me. Great, at this point I really wasn't upset. I'm cutting them some slack. Now it's been more than a week and I still haven't heard from the sales manager. I am truly appalled by the customer service. I work in a customer service type business and would fire a sales manager over something like this. I'm sure this review will be over looked and I will be ignored just like I was at the store. COVID will be blamed and they will say how busy they are and not accept responsibility. I invite this company to contact me and make this right. read more

Always an enjoyable time visiting Texas Gun Experience. Always treated with professionalism and respect. They take their time to explain whatever the questions may be read more

Texas Gun Experience was an amazing experience! If I could I'd give them a 10/10. This was mine and my husband's first time going to a gun range and they made us feel comfortable and patiently answered any and all questions we had. An employee Stephen spent over an hour answering our questions, letting us hold different guns and giving us background on them and showed us the differences. Our wait time to go into the shooting range was an hour and a half and the wait time flew by. The employee John who assisted us in the range was also amazing. He was patient and slowly went through how to load and shoot the gun. After we were comfortable he still checked in on us to make sure we were doing okay and was in an area that he was available and ready to assist. Whether you are a newbie or a veteran this is the place to go! We do not live in the area, but if we ever go back to Grapevine this will be a definite place we go. read more

I went back to TGE this morning to take the shooting portion of the LTC training. The instructor, Colin Throckmorton, was very good in delivering the overall explanation of how to get a license. He was easygoing, thorough, and very articulate. The range portion with Colin was very straightforward, easy to keep up and understand, and pleasant. I recommend Colin to everyone. He is truly excellent at his job. After qualifying, I got some separate range time to shoot another pistol I brought with me and found the other range officers very observant but not heavy-handed, as many range guys often are. It was safe, spacious, and while organized and vigilant, it was comfortable and pleasant. No one there was acting macho or micromanaging anyone. TGE is really doing things right across the board. Best range I have ever been to. Well done, TGE. Thank you, Colin. read more

Awesome experience. Olivia was super helpful and make everything really easy. Got a gun for me and my wife she helped with us with picking the right ones. Will definitely go again. read more

Kimberly in the Blade Bar went above and beyond to get my knife fixed. Her customer service was above what I normally get and was used to for other places. Went just to check it out, ended up spending way more money than I planned. Staff was amazing, very helpful and patient with my 100 questions. Great experience overall, discount on EVERYTHING in the store for Military and Vets, including their Blue Label section. Can't wait to go again. read more

First time in TGE and the place was really nice and tons of guns! I was there to purchase 3 guns but as I stood at the case starring and looking for over 20 mins all the employees just ignored me:/ So I thought, maybe if I walk around a little, I did and still nothing. I would advise against shopping here if customer service is on your list bc im not sure TGE knows what that is. They lost over $1500 in sales today‍ read more

I keep going back to TGE to shop for firearms/ammo because their staff is helpful, friendly and patient.

We had such a great experience with the youth education class. The instructor, Colin, gave great explanations and was super patient with answering questions. The practical portion of the class was a lot of fun and it was awesome to see my kiddo improve even in just the short time we were there. read more

This was my first time at Texas Gun and Olivia was extremely helpful in assisting me with forwarding necessary documents to state for concealed license! This is a must do experience. Staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. They make you feel at home. Take a group and enjoy.

I have never seen a gun range as nice as this one! The customer service in there is like no other. Everybody in this place is so nice and welcoming. The selection of fully automatic fire arms blew me away. And the price was way better then I thought it would be. Coming from Queens NY , this place makes me wish I lived in Texas. Thanks for the amazing Hospitality! read more

Very nice facility, but entirely unfriendly staff and most were wearing their masks under their noses. I expect to be treated a bit better with such high prices. Did not feel welcome at all and will not go back. Too bad! read more

Went for shooter training. Best training I have ever attended. Full day with classroom and lots of range time. It wasn't target practice but training on how to survive a gun fight. Also good discussion on when you can shoot and more importantly when you can't. Amazing facility and instructor. I hope they can get him back Brian Harpole. Don't miss any training he teaches. And to top it off the price was very reasonable. read more

I have been shooting at Texas gun experience for a couple weeks consistently now and the biggest thing I have noticed is the customer service is spectacular. I've had some an issue with my firearm today so i visited the gunsmith where he fixed it immediately free of charge and was super helpful about it. The ranges are all super nice they have a lot of cool features on the controls which allows for drills and different lighting settings. Whenever I purchase anything the staff always is super knowledgeable on anything I ask and willing to help me out with anything I need to get. On fridays that have this thing called full auto friday where you pay $20 to get to shoot a full auto machine gun out of four different guns that they pick out, it's a really good deal considering if you were to rent one on a different day it'd be more expensive. Overall awesome place and great customer service! read more

Range looks nice. Worst ammo prices in the metroplex and the staff is snooty. About $50 for a box of 45 caliber target ammo (50 count).

The staff is so knowledgeable and professional. I enjoy the experience every time I go. Joe in sales and Johnny at the Gunsmith counter have been extremely helpful. read more

Texas Gun Experience is so beautiful and fun. First time in today and had the most fantastic time. The Staff was so friendly and helpful. We went as a large group with out of town friends to give them a "true Texas experience". Justin, our "Machine Gun Concierge" or otherwise RSO, was so Knowledgeable and helped make us feel so comfortable. Justin helped me while my husband was tied up shooting and I felt a little nervous, he re-educated me on my gun and stayed by me until I felt more at ease. This place truly lives up to its name! I absolutely love this place!! Such a great staff that is willing to help. My husband and I got a family membership and love the unlimited shooting. They also provide training classes and lessons. I have now taken 2 lessons with Kris who is a great instructor and I highly recommend. He has a ton of knowledge and has helped me quite a bit. As much as I am there a lot of the staff know my name which makes me feel like I made the right choice picking our range membership at Texas Gun Experience! Highly recommended!! read more

Anybody giving this place a bad rating is probably an a-hole because honestly, it was the best experience and best customer service I've had anywhere. You can see how clean this place is from the pictures.. but the customer service and the overall vibe of this place is top grade and what sets it apart from other similar ranges. Extremely friendly and helpful from the front desk, to the sales desk, to the rental service, to the range safety personnel. I wish I asked the name of the guy who helped me at the sales desk. Older guy, maybe late 40's who recommended to me what to rent and try out on the range. He was helpful and didn't have an agenda to push. Usually you would expect a more of a smug or condescending attitude from the range personnel, but the staff here didn't have that. Nice selection of gun rentals. Place is wide open full of beautiful looking guns everywhere and pretty epic looking as soon as you drive up to the place. Absolutely would recommend to anybody. read more

AMAZING customer service. Today was my first time to visit this Wonderland and was greeted by Rachel. Rachel answered every one of my questions in a manner that was very warming, knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional. She did all this while also attending to other customer inquires and yet she never lost focus on my needs. I will bet that the other customers felt the same way by their reactions to her help.. Clearly the service industry could benefit from having a copy and paste of this young lady! Thanks, Rachel for the positive projection of TGE and the amazing welcome as a new member. read more

THE BEST RANGE/GUN STORE IN TEXAS. Texas Gun Experience is everything that a range & gun store should be. They have excellent staff who are extremely helpful and make you feel welcome. I have been to probably every single range in the DFW area and this is by far the best. I also had the gunsmith put an RMR put on my Glock 23 and they did a fantastic job with that as well. Every other gun store in the area 1.) Didnt even have RMR's in store 2.) told me the turn around time for welling it on would take 2-3 days, TGE did it in less than an hour. Seriously deserve all 5 stars. read more

Great range for the price. Lots of guns to chose from, if youd like a rental. Friendly staff.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I just bought a house and was immediately met with several break in attempts. I am a woman who lives alone and was absolutely terrified. I walked in 10000% clueless, I grew up in Southern California and could not be more inexperienced with any of this stuff. Immediately Michelle sprung into action (my deer in the headlights look probably gave me away) and did everything she could to help me, inform me, build confidence and reassure me. Texas Gun Experience is everything a gun store should be. At some point nearly every employee in the store checked in or offered help and advice. Stock is low everywhere right now but they made sure I tried a few different things and the man who helped me on the range was SO great. I left feeling comfortable and competent and am looking forward to taking lessons with my new gun. Thank you to Michelle and all of the other staff members, I am so, so glad that this is the place I decided to come. read more

I have known these people for awhile now. They are great to work with. I called when the Springfield Hellcat was announced and ask to be the 1st on the list when they received the one which you could mount the optic on. Got a call last week saying it was in. Picked it up and checked out the new place. It is Taj Mahal. The people there are always there to help me when needed from there gun smith to sale and the greeter at the door that help lead me to the section I am looking for. And really cool. Only 3 miles from my house. There goes my money. Thanks for all you do. 5 Star Place. read more
