We had a really excellent experience with Electrical Connect. They were very clear on the phone as to what they would charge, they came out promptly and the electrician who did the work - Fernando - was exceedingly polite, very clearly spoken, and highly competent. Really couldn't have been better. Moreover, the overall cost was very reasonable. We will undoubtedly use them again if we have further electrical problems. read more

Our service was electrifying! Day 1. I called to set an apt; they came out the same day to quote my bid Day 2. Installation. Needed a double light switch and a speaker volume control relocated to accommodate a built in cabinet. The tech, Fernando, was excellent! Arrived on time with a text beforehand to confirm time. I plugged an outlet expander into an outlet and I saw a flash of light and heard a pop, and a bunch of outlets stopped working. I noticed a breaker tripped and when I would try to flip it back on, it would trip again. So I went on Yelp, of course, to find someone to repair it. I got a bunch of quotes. This company had the most 5-star reviews that I saw, for electrical work, and they also quoted me the lowest price. When the guy came over, he was super polite and professional (and quite young), I was kind of shocked because I didn't know service people were still like that, especially younger folks! (The last several service guys I've had from other companies over weren't nearly as polite or professional.) So yeah I'm super impressed with this company and would definitely use them again. They also had very flexible payment methods - I was able to pay via Apple Cash with no problem. I can whole-heartedly recommend this company for electrical work. read more

Scheduled an appointment to repair loose wiring within a few days of reaching out. Fast, friendly service for a reasonable service fee.

Scheduling was easy. The tech was quick and courteous on the install. Installation was perfect. Highly recommended.

TEC was thorough, doing everything to code. They were professional, courteous, and very clean. I had to have wire and a switch put in an area that did not have an overhead fan or light, in a great room vaulted ceiling no less. This is my second project with TEC and they are now my "go to" electricians! read more

Fernando was amazing. Courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and went above and beyond in making sure I was taken care of and had a good experience. I would definitely use TEC again and will put in a special request for Fernando to be assigned! read more

During the recent wind storm a house-sized tree took out our power and yanked the electrical mast along with it. I was really overwhelmed wondering how to deal with the tree, get an electrician out, and then get the city to reconnect the line before I went broke on hotels. Others were saying weeks but TEC was out the next day and somehow got the city to inspect and reconnect the day after that, on Friday!! I was so thrilled to be back home by the weekend. I'm not sure if it was the cheapest but it was well worth it to me. They'll be the first I go to in an emergency. read more

Miguel and his team did a great job installing my outdoor floodlight camera. He gave me a very reasonable upfront pricing based on what I requested them to do. He charged me more than 50% lower than the other company wanted me to pay. They came in at the timeframe we agreed on and he explained well how the job will be done and asked if I had more questions or concerns before they started working. He did not even offer or sell me additional services, he just focused on my project itself. The installation came up clean and functioning properly. They are friendly and very respectful. I highly recommend TEC to anyone who wants a reasonably priced that provides high quality results. I'm going to hire them again sooner to install a whole house surge protector. read more

The light switch in the guest bath went out. We tried fixing it ourselves but couldn't get the lights to come back on. I spoke to Miguel A. about my issue and he was patient in explaining what needed to be done, the cost and time which was very reasonable. He scheduled my appointment for the same day and Fernando came out to do the work. He was friendly and efficient, and got the job done very well. I am very happy with the work and have asked about other electrical projects I'm interested in having done around my home. Fernando took videos of those projects and said I would be receiving a detailed quote for that work as well. I'm very pleased with the work, the time taken for the job, and especially the great price! I think I've found my go-to people for my electrical needs! Great experience!! read more

We requested the service of removing the old pendant lights over our kitchen island and installing two new fixtures. It was easy to schedule via their website. Fernando and Hector did great work in a little over an hour. Fernando was very helpful in recommending a good hanging height and cord length to extend from the ceiling. They also wore shoe covers, which we really appreciated. Texas Electrical Connect is also a great value - we paid per fixture installed instead of by the hour. You also save 3% by paying by check or casThe only minus is they did not make it at the scheduled time. Miguel and crew are some of the best and friendliest electricians you can hire here in Austin. As a landlord and owning several properties, I have had them work on my other properties as well as in my own home. The most recent project was a whacky idea I came up with to ventilate my garage and use ducting and fans I had on hand to save on costs as well as install several more outlets as my garage only had one accessible outlet for the entire garage (what......who thought that was a good idea?) Miguel also suggested installing a switch to control the vent fan I planned to install for very minimal cost which was a great idea. He worked with me to figure out what few parts I needed to connect my 11" ceiling vent fan and run it to a 6" inline fan to assist with airflow through the attic and finally push air out through a soffit vent by the trash cans. This has resolved both my humidity and lack of airflow issues within the garage, and has also seemed to drop the temperature slightly throughout the cooler nights to help with daytime temperatures. Will be contacting them back again for assistance with a mini split sometime before next summer! read more

I had a breaker that kept tripping, so I called Texas Electrical Connect, based on Yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed! I reached out on a Saturday morning and got a very quick text message response. The person who texted me back was helpful and responsive to my questions. They even texted me back on Sunday evening to give appointment times as early as possible for the coming week - ensuring that I could get taken care of early Monday. That is awesome in making sure that the customer is taken care of. The technician that came by, Fernando, was great! He showed up on time the very next morning and was courteous and friendly the entire time. He quickly diagnosed the issue and then clearly explained the fix and how much it would cost (it wasn't cheap, but it was definitely fair, and I have no complaints). After confirming that I was okay with his recommendation, he replaced my breaker and then checked all outlets on that circuit to make sure there were no other underlying issues. He left everything clean as he found it and was very respectful of my home. I will definitely use this company again the next time I need electrical work! read more

I had a GREAT experience with TEC and would highly suggest you book them for your next job. Fernando was polite, thorough and communicative- He was clear about the steps he took, how he found the issue and what it would take to fix it. The total cost for the visit and the re-wire of a funky GFCI was less than what some other folks were asking just to come and assess. Some vendors were booking 10+ days out, but TEC was here and had fixed my issues in less than 24 hours. I'll absolutely be calling them again! read more

I live out of state from where we have a rental home. It's so hard to coordinate repairs from 1800 miles away, but an electrical emergency? Wow, that was scary. LUCKILY, I found Texas Electrical Connect and Miguel. All the work was done with thoroughness, efficiency and timeliness. Texas Electrical Connect performed the services with expertise and unparalleled customer service. Miguel went ABOVE and BEYOND, then ABOVE and BEYOND THAT!!
