Glazed Chocolate and Maple Cake donuts

Delicious donuts - over 60 types of donuts and only $2! They close at 3pm. When I got there around 2pm on a Thursday, many varieties were sadly sold out! Yes, they have ginormous Texas Donuts (3 times the size of a normal donut!) and cronuts (croissant/doughnut) as well as cake, yeast (with fresh filling) donuts. They are a decent size (smaller than Dunkin and Good Company, but larger than Sunday Bakehouse) and very reasonably priced at only $2 (boutique donuts are typically $5). The Glazed Chocolate and Maple cake Donuts were moist, fluffy, and delicious! The young lady helping me was super friendly and very knowledgeable and passionate about the donuts, Will come back to try more varieties and support the local business!

4.5/5 So so close to Round Rock Donuts (Round Rock, Texas)... Friend staff. Large selection of donuts and they even kolache!!!! Bright and upbeat atmosphere. Lots of excited customers. Donuts are fresh and price on par with DD but 1000% better. The glazed yeast donuts are light, soft and fluffy on the inside. It melts as you take a bite. Not as good as Round Rock (TX) Donuts but close. And they have a Texas Sized donut too! But of course, not as big as it should be. Reasonable at $3.99 for Texas sized. Novelty but if quality is like regular sized donut, its worth it! Will be back!

The line was out the door this morning, but thankfully it moved fast. The jalapeño cheddar kolaches were fantastic. I only regret not getting more of these. The donuts were all very tasty! My favorite was the long John with while cream filling. Also loved that the Texas donuts were heart shaped in honor of Valentine's Day! Glad Texas Donuts has opened in Vienna!

I usually have a strong aversion to donuts because I find all except Krispy Kreme to be dry and lackluster. I ate all the donuts in the box because I had super low expectations, but saved the last mega donut for a picture for this review to proclaim its greatness. They looked like your average grocery store donuts, but sure did not taste like them. All the flavors we got: buttermilk, Oreo, plain glazed, chocolate sprinkle, Bavarian cream filled, raspberry filled, tasted light and airy and not dry at all. The plain glazed was the fluffiest of them all. I don't like my donuts cold/room temp, but they tasted so good even in 17 degree weather, I would go back for more. I recommend sticking to the regular sized donuts than the mega donut for better glaze to donut ratio. The cashier had a positive energy and it's always nice to be greeted with a smile. Store is small and straightforward.

Wow just wow. Not even a donut girlie but these blew me away. My toddler and I got there Monday (MLK Day) at 9am and the line was short and inventory was full! There was a half dozen option which wasn't enough, two donuts were gone before we even made it out of the parking lot. The cream donut was filled fresh in front of your eyes! And the cake/old fashion was another favorite. The only negative about this place is that it lives rent free in my head and I will think about it every weekend.

Ambiance: small clean donuts shop right in the center of Vienna Service: quick and friendly service Food: love their donuts!!! I visited on Monday (MLK) and back in Wednesday...i never go back to a place that often in a short time. The donuts are airy and delicious. Prces are great as well. The hype is REAL!!! Come check them out.

So happy that another location opened in Vienna! I remember being delicious when I stopped by the Centreville location years ago, and it did not disappoint. The owner is super friendly, helpful, and hilarious! He guided me through the menu and gave recommendations. All the items were so fresh and delicious!! I always enjoy a classic original glazed. Theirs is quite similar to Krispy Kreme - very airy but still crispy on the outside. You can even get the big Texas style that's like 4 times bigger than a normal one!!! The croughnut (croissant + doughnut) is also a must get. I love the sausage kolache with jalapeño and cheddar - reminded me of an Asian bakery style hot dog!

I had such a wonderful experience at Texas donuts! The shop was small, but super cute. The staff was friendly and helpful! The donuts and cronies were so delicious! What a wonderful experience!

I'm so happy that this place has finally opened. I am not much of a donut person but always love Krispy Kreme. Heard a lot about Texas Donuts so want to give them a try. This is pretty much a take out place. There are no table or chairs to sit. When I got inside, there was a small line already around 7:30 am. But I didn't have to wait for long. It is so hard to decide which donuts to buy. I ended up getting Red Velvet, Buttermilk, Glazed and a couple of Kolache. The donuts taste fresh and light which are great. I will try the Kolaches later for lunch. Definitely better than Dunkin Donuts for sure. Will be back next time to try other flavors. A great addition to Vienna for sure

We popped in and took a while to read the menu options. I landed on a giant Italian Combo, a beer, side of fries, and a tiramisu. Everything was amazing. There's high top seating inside and even a full bar with seating as well. The staff was great, everything tasted amazing, I'd absolutely go back (and plan to do so). I ordered a sandwich and wanted to make it a combo but they only do it with fries, no chips. For most, thats an awesome deal - I just personally wanted chips. They have the fancier drinks and not your typical soda options so keep this in mind. My roasted turkey sandwich was $14.95 to start, and toppings like pepper relish cost extra (I feel like a spread should not be half a dollar but sure). Meat quality was good and bread felt fresh but just a little hard to chew. For basically 16$, there was only two thin slices of provolone. Compared to some of the photos I saw, the sandwich was a bit lacking on the toppings of meat/cheese. People super friendly and service was quick. They had tons of desserts, pasta salad, and a few actual pasta dishes on the menu too. I'll have to come in to give them a try for a cheesesteak or the caesar salad wrap next.

It is also in a weird location, and the inside is set up strangely as well, which makes the experience feel awkward from the start. I ordered a Chicken & Cheddar Skinny and a turkey sandwich. The food itself was exactly what you'd expect from Potbelly, so no complaints there. The problem is the operation. There were five employees working, yet almost no attention was given to the customers standing in line. Instead, everyone seemed focused on online orders while the in-store line barely moved. If you're going to ask customers to come into your restaurant, they shouldn't feel like second-class customers behind the app. This isn't a staffing issue. It's a management issue. With five people on the floor, there should be someone owning the front line and taking care of the people who made the effort to walk in. Instead, it felt disorganized, inefficient, and frustrating. The food saved this from being a one-star review, but the way this restaurant is being run needs serious attention. Management needs to rethink their priorities and create a better balance between digital orders and the customers standing right in front of them.

Since we were back in the area for a DMV for a brief visit we knew exactly where we were stopping before heading to the airport. Hubs ordered his usual sausage, egg and cheese sandwich , and I ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich along with an iced mocha. I had completely forgotten they have a Starbucks on-site with a limited menu. Of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing a cookie and a chocolate croissant for later. The food arrived fresh, hot, and exactly as expected. The staff is always friendly and personable. You see professionals, students and the locals coming in and out, but there is seating available. Conversations are at a minimum and despite the attached restaurant you can still hear yourself and the other person without yelling. One thing I appreciate about Best Buns is the consistency. Whether it's been months or years between visits, the quality never seems to change. The sandwiches are flavorful, the ingredients taste fresh, and nothing feels like it was sitting around waiting to be reheated. Everything is prepared to order, and you can taste the difference. My sandwich disappeared one bite at a time, and Hubs completely demolished his croissant sandwich without hesitation. That's usually all the confirmation I need. Some restaurants are good. Some are memorable, but there are the places that become part of your routine whenever you're back in town. Best Buns has earned that status for us. Five stars earned! Consistently fresh. Consistently delicious. We'll be dropping in on another turn and burn later this month...
