I told MIA my situation. MIA focused on treatment where I needed the most (legs). I was very satisfied with the session. MIA demonstrated experience and attention to detail. The treatment was so effective, that I secured a follow up half-hour session on the same day. This time, MIA focused on deep tissue treatment. This treatment was exactly what I needed as follow up after the long trail run. I shared my treatment experience with my Wife and recommended MIA to her. Parking at the business lot might be an issue on busy days. YCM shares space with other businesses; however, there are several parking options near the business. Although somewhat rustic, the facility was clean and in good order. The treatment room was comfortable. Before securing my appointment with YCM, I read some of the reviews listed on this thread. I'm pleased to report that I did not experience any of the adverse comments made regarding YCM. At the time of my treatment, YCM did not employ a front desk attendant; it is not "Massage Envy". So inevitably, one of the therapists has to respond to someone entering their business. I felt MIA did her best to take care of the front counter situations, and got back to the treatment table as soon as she could. Also, I believe the treatment room was not equipped with a towel warmer; so, MIA might have had to go outside the treatment room to get the warm towel ready for me. Expect these simple things to happen and relax. I had absolutely no problem with the reported "tipping issue"; not even a hint of that issue came up. I had no issues communicating with MIA. I hope I can secure another session at YCM/MIA on my next trip to the Eastern Sierras.
