This comment is for their parts department located in a separate building…read more I drove 20 miles for a breakaway battery charger module that I had earlier confirmed that they had in stock. when I walked in there were 3 or 4 people sitting at a counter behind screens with only one other customer at the counter. Although there was no "can i help you?", I explained my phone conversation with a fellow earlier. The person behind the screen, while never even looking up at us looked down at the broken part in our hands and commented that they didn't have this. I did earlier explain the part, read the printed description to the fellow on the phone confirmed he had this common part. I was told by the person behind the counter that he had this ($10.00 dollar part) in a kit for $60.00....period. After explaining my confirmation call he began to name different names of people who worked there, probably 5 or 6 in a very condescending way. My mechanic who was with me and I just looked at each other in disbelief, thanked them for their time and left. I'm a business owner and immediately recognized customer service that will cause this business to fail. Thankfully we found another trailer shop via Yelp and although they were mainly repair they took care of our needs. I'll not ever recommend Jacobsons parts department to anyone.

Just bought a trailer from them. A 14k utility trailer. I said oh well not worth going back now since I was an hour away. They called me to let me know I forgot it and that they'll set aside for me. I appreciate the help. Jeff Taylor was the one who helped me. I will definitely shop here again. Thanks!

Billie's High Sierra Transport & Tow - Pick up from BRITTS in Bishop

I got a flat tire (no spare tire and can't be patched with the kit) about 8 miles away from Bishop…read morecenter of town and called my rental car company's roadside assistance (RSA) for a tow. So supposedly the RSA had called this place (only towing company in Bishop according to my google search) 9AM in the morning but maybe the quoted price was too high so RSA ended up asking another place in Sparks NV to come and get me - which didn't work because I waited for hours and then after a lot of back and forth that company decided to cancel around noon. I was pretty upset and called Billie's to ask if they are available and how much it would cost, where Billie's staff said $475 for the tow - now I understand why the RSA had originally asked and decided to try something else, that does sound pretty steep for a tow that's only 8 miles away from town and towing the car only 8 miles to town. LOL if you are the only place in town you can name whatever price you want. Anyways I was running out of options and really wanted to get the car to the town tire shop before they closed for the weekend so I called RSA again and insisted that they use Billie's instead of some unreliable place 100+ miles away and eventually they called Billie's and got someone to come in 1.5 hours. Once the tow driver arrived things moved really quickly and I got to the tire shop just 5 minutes before the technician was about to take off for the weekend. Driver was courteous and friendly.

"Tow company threatened to impound my trailer after I canceled--had to call the police."…read more Edit: The response from this business owner is comical. You tried to strong arm me after you lost the contract for the tow. When you lost the contract, you tried to manipulate the situation to try and still get paid. Making up BS that the store owner asked you to now tow the vehicle. You didn't humbly decide to avoid anything. Your contract was cancelled due to your arrogance. You were told you CAN NOT touch my trailer by the police department. Sadly your tactics failed. P.S. It sucks when there is proof to invalidate your false claims. Additional Edit: The Owner called me 19 times in a row to remove his name from the review. Stating it is illegal and that he would take other actions if I didn't comply. Again showing the level of harassment and bullying this business is capable of (Attached screenshots) My trailer broke down during a rental and roadside assigned Billie's High Sierra Transport. From the very first call, the owner, Billie Edmund Lozano, was defensive and rude, refusing to give me a straight ETA. After I canceled the tow, he began calling me back-to-back, threatening to impound my trailer and "ruin my life." When I told him I wouldn't be strong-armed into doing business with him, he suddenly changed his story--from being 3-4 hours away to claiming he was "already on site" so he could charge a show-up fee. It escalated further when he claimed the store owner where my trailer was parked had asked him to impound it and that I had 15 minutes to get there--knowing full well I was over 4 hours away. At that point, I had no choice but to call the police and file a report in case my trailer was stolen or damaged before another tow company arrived. This behavior was completely unprofessional, dishonest, and aggressive. Avoid this company at all costs. No customer should ever have to deal with threats and intimidation from a tow operator.

EZ Campin - 30 ft Wanderer SLEEPS 10

This time we camped at Bass Lake, and it was my job to find a trailer rental company. EZ Campin was a gem of a find! Communication with the owners was timely and accurate, they even kept me up to date on the national forest's changing policies. We arrived at the Cedar Bluff campground (warning! Theft alert!), to find that our camper trailer was already being set up ahead of schedule. We also noted several other EZ Campin rentals in our loop and at the same campground. Quintin and Larry gave us the simple instructions, and everything worked beautifully and exactly like it should. The fridge was cold and ready to load. The awning was extended and the trailer was level. Everything inside was neat and tidy and fresh, with little personal touches that were neat to have. When finished, we simply cleaned up the best we could and prepared the trailer for their pick-up. They handled the dumping and hauling and all other aspects. We even payed the small extra fee for a generator, with gas, so we can run the A/C a couple hours a day, which also keeps the trailer's batteries charged, for use of lights in the evening. Fortunately our family has had experience owning an RV and renting RVs and trailers, so we didn't have to explain to the (now adult) children the facts that you have some limitations on how much water or electricity one can use. Conservation is the key. Overall, it was an excellent experience that I would recommend to anyone!

What a brilliant concept!…read more We had a week-long family vacation at Bass lake, with some of us coming from San Francisco and some flying in from Texas. We got a 25 foot trailer for me, my husband and my parents. Close quarters, yes....but it worked out fine. The brilliance of EZ Campin is the fact that they set up the trailer at your campsite before you even get there! We arrived after driving for ~4 hours with a majorly loaded car to a nice trailer all hooked up, including the generator, a canopy, and a nice big mat as well as an already-cold fridge and freezer. The particular trailer we got was almost brand new and the kitchen was fully stocked. I've doubted what "fully stocked" means before, and packed a lot of my own kitchen stuff because of this....no need. They truly have all the kitchen stuff you would need. The (brand new) coffee pot didn't work for some reason, so we just called them and they gave us a new one. The only drawback is that my 6'1" husband couldn't fit in the bunk beds, on the dinette sleeper or on the couch pull out - they were all too short for him (and my parents got the actual bed!). He ended up using one of the bunk bed pads and sleeping on the floor. Worked fine, but a bummer for him to be sleeping on the floor! I would definitely use them again.
