My wife and I were pulling our 5th wheel up to Mammoth and we had a blowout about 30 miles south of Bishop, after I put the spare tire on we drove into Bishop, spent the night at the Elk's Lodge rv park and in the morning I called around and Perez Tire had 4 235/85/16 G rated Ironman tires, they installed them promptly Tuesday morning for a very fare price! Thanks so much for the prompt service! We made it home safely a week later! read more

Press Quality tires helped me in a true time of need! As I rolled into Mammoth Lakes for a weekend hiking with friends, I discovered that my tire has shredded due to the heat of the desert. After many calls, we found that Perez Quality tires had my tire in stock, but it was nearing closing time on a Friday. Perez Quality Tires stayed open, had the tire waiting and my friend was able to pick it up to have it put on in Mammoth. I truly appreciate their quality customer service! read more

Perez Quality Tires - Perez quality tires - Tires Near Me - Bishop, California

Driving N/B on 395 had an unexpected puncture blowout south of Bishop. With the help of a passing motorist got the spare put on. It was close to 5 PM. A phone call to Perez revealed they were still open and would wait for me to come in. Met with Alex. He removed the tire and examined the puncture which was in the middle of the treads. He said it could not be repaired. He offered to sell me a tire of the same size. I wanted to keep all the tires from the same manufacturer. He did not have that brand and said he was not able to get it. I declined further services, and drove back to my campsite 60 miles away. I called several places to locate a tire shop that could order my tire and replace the punctured tire. I would take a couple days for the tire to arrive. The tire arrived and I went to purchase it and have it installed. When this tire shop looked at the puncture they said it could be repaired. The used a plug and patch. I ended up paying for the new tire and had it installed. I kept the tire Alex at Pere said could not be repaired. I was glad Perez stayed until 5 PM to look at my tire. But am very disappointed that the goal was to sell me a tire rather than do a repair. I will not go back or recommend them. read more

Best service ever! Father and son have both helped me several times over the last two years replacing and servicing personal SUV tires, fleet truck tires and specialty trailer tires. Fast and reliable help even in the hot summer heat which was critical when handling a blow out on a full eight horse trailer on 395. Thanks! read more

We had a flat at the start of our holiday weekend. When the other shops were closed, Perez Tires was open. We arrived expecting to be gouged due to the holiday closures in the area but their technicians were incredibly fair in their assessment and offered the patch the flat or replace our tire. Their rate was so fair we decided to go ahead and replace the entire set of tires on our car. Their service was fair and quick. They got us out of a tough bind and saved our vacation. read more

Very courteous tech. Good communication on the phone. Quick response and fast service.

Just needed Air on my tires and they were amazing. Didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need, was very quick with the service and gave me some valuable information on my route to the mountain. Perez Quality Tires - My busted tire - Tires Near Me - Bishop, California

We are traveling from southern CA to Idaho and stopped in Bishop for the night. The next morning we headed out and the axle on our trailer almost busted in half from bad bearings. Two local auto shops said no one would be able to fix the trailer. We thought we were stuck until someone recommended Perez Tires... The owner came to our rescue!! He took the time immediately to look at our problem and told us he could fix it, explaining to us just what he was going to do. What started out as disastrous turned into a huge blessing! We actually got the trailer back the same day totally fixed with new tires as well! Very reasonable prices! Idaho here we come!! read more

All I can say is WOW! As many who have commented here, I needed an emergency tire replacement while on vacation. Found Perez tires just before closing time on a Saturday. The Honda Roadside Assistance had me towed to the Honda dealership in Bishop from Tonopah NV for a replacement tire for my car. The tow driver dropped me off only for me to find the service department at Honda was closed until Monday. (but I could leave my car in front and put my keys in the drop box...). We were supposed to be in Ely NV by the next day. Looked up tire places in Bishop and Perez Tires showed they were open until 3:30. Took a chance they would have an AWD tire that would work. As it was almost 3:00 I tore over there like a madwoman. Was greeted by Alex and showed him the tire size I needed. Within minutes he came out with it. As the back of my car was loaded to the gills with camping gear, Alex and another worker had to completely unpack it to reach the spare compartment in order to remove the blown out tire and to return the spare after they swiftly put on the new tire. And they were so kind to repack everything thoughtfully (I am old and disabled). And the tire price was way lower than I had paid on other occasions. The whole thing was like 15 minutes tops! I am so grateful to Alex and his crew! Best and kindest service ever! read more

Beware! Do not do business with Perez Quality Tires, Alex(THE OWNER), the RIP-OFF artist, shakedown of a businessman. After 20 years of living in the Eastern Sierra and four years in Bishop, it was easily the worst experience I've had with a retailer. He demanded cash to order the tires and promised installation within a week. Eleven days later, with no call, I went to the shop, and he offered immediate installation. However, he reminded me that he needed an additional $775 on top of the $500 deposit. I went to give him cash and asked for a receipt in exchange. He yelled at me and called me an idiot. He said a cash sale means no receipt and no paperwork for warranty purposes because he does not report the sales to the state. He then repeated that I was an idiot and that he would not give me my truck back (I already had the keys from Alex, the employee), and that the discount for cash is in place of sales tax. I offered to pay the tax to receive a receipt and warranty paperwork, and he called me an idiot again and asked me to leave. He said, "Come back later to pay when I am ready to beg him." I returned defeated at the end of the day and paid Alex, the employee, cash so he could avoid reporting the sales tax to the IRS. BISHOP AUTO CENTER is installing the same tires for $180 less on my wife's truck tomorrow. read more

After getting TWO flat tires up in Rock Creek, the tow truck driver from Mr. K's dropped our car off here in their parking lot as they were closed for the day. Luckily, they are open on Saturday (oddly, some tire places aren't). I was very worried they wouldn't have tires for my Volvo wagon Sport edition- those very low profile tires, not your standard tire. I needed TWO. They opened at 8am and by 8:30 I had two new tires and was on my way back to the hotel to pick everyone up! What a relief! Very nice staff that seem to work very hard. Highly recommend. read more

Dishonest and incompetent. Paid $40 for a balance, however my tires were never balanced. I got to my destination and discovered that my vehicle had NO wheel weights installed at all! All they did was put my front tires on the back and tell me they balanced them. Clowns read more

If I could give 6 stars I would. Had a tire blow out and Alex was a lifesaver! Knowledgeable, dependable and trustworthy.

Got a flat on White Mountain Road. Put on the spare and limped back to Bishop on a Saturday. Perez Quality Tire was the only place open on Saturday. My family was driving through Bishop area on 395 on a Saturday afternoon going home from vacation and two of our trailer tires exploded leaving us stranded on the side of the road 8 hours from home. Most shops were closing or already closed for the weekend. Perez had the tires I needed in stock and came out and changed all 4 of them on the side of the road. The service was fast, efficient and professional and we were back on the road. I would 100% recommend ad am SO thankful for them! read more

After driving in rainy, windy and snowy weather, I had a tire monitor go off south of Bishop. There aren't many tire shops open on Sunday but Perez Quality Tires delivered! It was a cold afternoon around 2pm. They repaired my flat, helped me replace my spare under the truck and did all of this in about 20 minutes and were very polite and provided excellent service! Thank you for making my day and I was still able to make it to Mammoth and catch a few powder runs the same day! Highly recommended! read more

Perez Quality Tires - Still made the ski trip with the repaired tire. - Tires Near Me - Bishop, California

Blew a tire on my VW Jetta on Buttermilk Road and barely got back to town. Couldn't even get the tire off because I didn't have the locking lug nut key (lesson learned!). The guys at Perez Tires took the extra time and effort to figure out how to get the my tire off and didn't give up, despite how difficult it was. Saying that they went the extra mile for me is understating it. Can't thank them enough for getting me back on the road. If I could give 6 stars I would. Support this business! read more

Perez tires is outstanding!!! I was stranded on the way to Mammoth, on a Sunday. I called AAA, they came and towed me back to Bishop. I didn't think Perez would be open on a Sunday so we were just going to drop my car off! They were OPEN!!! Juan and Alex were great! Not only did they fix my tires up quickly, they delivered my car to work for me as I was running late. Thanks again guys, outstanding service. read more

Perez' Auto shop definitely gets 5 stars for customer service. While headed to Tahoe we blew one of our trailer tires and almost a second in 105 degree heat. We called every auto shop in Lone Pine, Big Pine and Bishop but since it was 45 minutes from closing time on a Friday we were told over and over we would have to wait until the morning. When we called Perez' they said if you get here before 5:00 we'll take care of you. We rolled up at 4:55, sweaty, stressed and unsure what our backup plan would be and they honored their word. They stayed past closing time to make sure we were back on the road safely. Customer service is a ten, these guys went above and beyond. read more

We were traveling and the low tire pressure light came on. Assumed we had picked up a nail and went over to Perez after 4:00. Turned out we needed two new front tires due to extreme wear. Outstanding timely service on a Sunday morning. I woke up to a flat tire on the day I was to drive up a rough road to 11,000 feet to see the Ancient Bristlecones. I saw the bristlecones, my tire is fine, and I highly recommend Perez if you need service in Bishop. read more

They really came to our rescue on a Saturday morning as we were driving to Mammoth. A tire on our RV wasn't feeling right. I looked them up by the reviews and Alex found 6 new tires for us. I came back, but this time to get tires mounted on my van. At around noon, I pulled up and asked if there would be a wait. One of the employees said, pull your car up. While they had my wheels off, they spotted a brakepad sensor that had torn off while I was driving somewhere. Way to have an eye for detail and letting me know! All labor and payment transactions were concluded well under 35 minutes. Call in to be sure there isn't a wait though! Thanks again Perez Tires for keeping me happy. read more
