I get he would like to see it first before any estimate could be properly assessed. But after hearing that I just hung up. I would have had no issue brining it down for the estimate. I just wanted to get a ball park before having it towed over to their shop. If all he said was we can't get an estimate till I see it that's not a problem. But making a big fuss and getting mad at someone for doing their due diligence before dropping off their vehicle is unacceptable in my book. I would think twice before brining your vehicle here. Horrible customer service.

We were practically stranded because no shops had the parts to fix a VW, were closed for Easter holiday, or overbooked. We ended up finding this shop in Bishop that could take us on short notice and they did a wonderful job! We got a tow into the shop on Monday afternoon, they ordered the part we needed, and had our car all fixed up and ready to hit the road by Wednesday morning. The service was fast, reliable and friendly. Our mechanic was Ceasar who specialized in VW- he was very reassuring and communicative and also gave us a ride into town! At first sight, the appearance can be deceiving, there were many cars filling the lot, however don't let that discourage you! I can be picky about where I take my car so I had my worries but I was definitely not disappointed! I would highly recommend this auto body shop!
