When leaving Mammoth, we always wait to get diesel in Big Pine because I absolutely LOVE THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE - EVERY TIME!! Jesus is especially friendly and helpful! Such amazing staff ! Juan, Jesus, and Rosie went out of their way to help us when we had brake issues on a Saturday when every repair shop in the area was closed Truly caring staff who treated us with kindness and compassion and who went out of their way to get us on the road and get to a medical appointment on Monday Also very clean restroom and reasonable snack prices ...PLUS they have both gas bays in front and larger bays in the rear where you can fill up your tanks in your large RVs ! Less expensive gas than the station next door.. but still a little pricey overall. Needed a fillup and some beverages before we set off back to Orange County. Picked up a three sodas and a bottle of water for just under $8. Snack aisle wasn't that impressive so didn't get any nibbles. Convenient if you're passing through the area. Nice clean and bright stop for gas right on the CA395. Our jalopy-err vehicle-- was overheating and we bought coolant and oil here. We were able to get what we needed quickly and be on our way. people are extremely friendly up here! read more

Don't STOP here! The customer service SUCKS!! A rude cashier named Sylvia is the most rudest, unfriendliest, crabby (could go on but you get the point) cashier along Hwy 395 route. This girl is in customer service but definitely needs to get out of being around people because she don't smile, not helpful or pleasant in any manner. Save your time & money, go across the street where they at least say hello to you when you walk in. If I could give this place zero star rating. Do yourself a courtesy & avoid this place at all cost. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, as should you until this cashier is gone. read more

Pretty much a standard gas station. They have all the usuals in terms of gas selection, pay at the pump, and snacks to get.

Really nice shell station. Easy access either way you are headed on the 395 in case you need to stop to fill up or release some gas. They have good gas prices, variety of items for sale, single room restrooms and excellent customer service. read more

Was on our way to Death Valley and stopped here for gas. The owner guy was super nice. He even gave us pointers on what to check out at death valley as well as other places to see while on the 395. The store has more stuff for sale than your average gas stop, so come here to refuel and restock! read more

Had to make a pit stop on my road trip to fill the tank, and empty the other tank, if you know what I mean... and I gotta say, this Shell has one of the cleaner restrooms I've come across in these situations. The lot is spacious and the store is organized and convenient. Diesel pumps are screwed up and if u do it wrong the rude lady comes out and starts screaming at you. Go somewhere else.

I was on my way through life, and i saw this shell. I was gonna grab some bang energy drinks to bang out my dqy n soke slim jims for some gains. But the mans got a mouthpiece n had me buy the 3 for 5 swisher sweets, a couple hot cheetos n he threw me an evain on the house. Great customer service, love this guy. read more

The 395 is like an old, familiar friend, sharing my many adventures along its path. On my way with friends to the Sierra for an off-road trip this Labor Day, Wednesday 8/29/18 I stopped at this Shell Station to gas up, load up on soda, and take care of creature comforts. The gentleman working held the door for me, was very courteous, professional, and kind. I left and went about my way, and only a day or two later realized I'd lost my credit card! During the nightmarish crawl home Monday 9/3, I must've dazed off and completely forgot to stop by the Shell station to see if I'd left it there. I called Wednesday, once I knew for sure I didn't have it. Troy confirmed it was there, said he'd leave a message with my info for the manager, and the next day I spoke with Sylvia. Once confirming my information and that the card was mine, she sent it back to me the same day and I received Monday morning. I can't thank them enough. Such kind and thoughtful professionalism deserves to be recognized, and they now have me as a loyal customer. Thanks Sylvia and Troy!! read more

Great gas station! I was provided with awesome service! Aside to that the restrooms were really clean.

This place is terrible. I came to get my tire fix like get a temporary patch. Or worse case scenario purchase a new tire. We ask for assistance and the man refuses to provide any service to us. Instead LIED in front of my face stating they don't do tire repairs. When obviously there's a line rack of new tires up agaisnt the wall and a tire machine. This is a 5-10 minute job! Totally upset with their service. read more

Stopped by Big Pine Shell because we blew a tire out in the desert. Limping back into town, and with limited funds we crossed our fingers and came out winners. The owner Frank found a tire that fit and got us back on the road without breaking the bank. Frank and his staff are very friendly and helpful. We also picked his brain for stuff to do in the area and he helped us out. Rare to find a gas station that also is a real service station (mechanic, tires, etc) Thanks Frank! read more

I enjoy going to Shell in Big Pine Ca when Pam is working she always makes me laugh, she is very helpful and knowledgeable. If your passing thru Big Pine stop in at Shell and visit the locals. Best gas and price, I always get my .05 cents off a gallon safe travels. read more

I never write reviews but this gas station is amazing. The cashier Fred was so friendly and gave my dad and I coffee and hot chocolate for FREE for our ride up to mammoth; even though we didn't ask for it. The bathrooms were super clean and smelled clean as well. Over all great customer service and experience! read more

Great place to fill up on diesel. Easy to get into and maneuver with the trailer behind the station on dedicated pumps. After filling up there is good long rig parking for shell customers in their big lot. The store is stocked with the regular stuff and of course has men's and women's restrooms. read more
