Great place to grab a sandwich on the go. They have pre-made sandwiches, and also they have made to order sandwiches. I enjoy the Italian, and the hot pastrami. The tri tip is also a good choice. Okay, they're all good. They also have pizza slices and dogs, but I prefer the sandwiches. Lots of beverages and chip selections too. Good place for a quick lunch! read more

Nice gas station, my go to for when I'm in town. It has a little bit of everything inside (gas, alcohol, coffee, ice cream, snacks, food, water, sodas, energy drinks, souvenirs etc). Service has always been nice. read more

We've been stopping in at this cute little gas station/ liquor store for many years now. Our annual stop in Bishop means a visit to snag some water and candy bars to tide us over until morning. Sometimes we can find our favorite black cherry lemonade by Calypso. It's very hard to find these days. The staff have always been friendly. We look forward to this as its part of our vacation ritual. Until next year. read more

I always stop here for gas and sundries on my way up to Garnerville/Carson City. The staff is always friendly and they have a nice selection of drinks and snacks for your drive. With Covid restrictions it's hard to find restrooms that are clean along this route, but theirs are clean. Overall, it's a gas station/convenience store but a solid place to stop on your way to Mammoth or beyond. read more

Pretty decent mini mart that happen to be across the street from the place we stayed at while on route to Mammoth. It has pretty much what one would expect or hope for, that is traveling, hungry, thirsty, in need of small toiletries, aspirins, etc. Souvenir's too. Did I mention thirsty? Beer selection was decent. Mammoth Brewed beers were proudly sold everywhere, but the variety here was much better! Were Hefe people, so we found a few choices here. IPA's galore. (Not into IPA, tears up my pipes, acid does no justice to my pipes). Another TMI moment you just didn't need right?! I only minus one star because they close kind of early, for being in a well visited area frequented by tourists. But it's definitely pit-stop worthy! read more

Probably the best, last stop in Bishop on your way up to Mammoth if you want to grab some good beer, snacks, and fill up with gas. Gas is super expensive at Mammoth, and the Von's is always a poop-show, so you're better off grabbing at least a day's worth of supplies here before continuing the drive north. read more

Walked into this gas station with my little one after my husband got gas. Cashier very rude! Bigger Lady with short black hair. Even though I stated we were "paid customers getting gas" she laughed at me and kept saying only "paid customers" can use their restroom. Very weird and strange behavior. She might have a mental disorder. Not professional or friendly at all. read more

Ordered two sandwiches and they couldn't find the sandwich guy to make them. We waited 20-30 minutes and finally someone showed up. Secondly, I came to your window while you were still in store on New Year's Eve and you waved at me as if I was a nuisance when you hadn't updated your hours. This is a clean, well-stocked convenience store with an ample supple of munchies , beverages, and knick-knacks (tourist souvenirs) for your selection on the road. They have these nice rice crackers in pre packs of $2.99 that are a great deal! Ditto the wasabi peas! There is also a reasonable amount of microbrews from Mammoth Brewing. You're in luck if your tastes run to sodas and microbrews for beverage. The wine bottle side room looks nice, but really has a pedestrian selection of common low shelf wines. it'd be nice if there were some more interesting non-mass produced bottles available. (We'd actually wanted to get wine, but changed our minds after looking at the uninspiring selection.) read more

Stopped here to buy some snacks on my way to a family members house and was greeted with "RESTROOMS ARE FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY" when I didn't even have to use the restroom. Being greeted like that felt so uninviting. Don't know why it's called "giggle" springs when the employees are rude like that. So so upset. I just walked out right after. Do not come here. I was like, "Hey, can you turn on the air machine, my tires low"? Woman behind the counter said, "It takes quarters". I said, "It's a law that..." she interrupts in a condescending tone, "Read the sign posted on the machine, and if you've got a problem with it, call them!" Was it the color of my skin that turned her off? She sure looked at me as if I was a 2nd rate citizen. I went down the street to Shell, and the guy says, "Sure, I'll turn on the air, and be sure to hit the on button to make it work". --A simple niceness goes a long way. If there was an option to rate negative stars, I would. One of the workers named Jill, I believe, made a horrible comment in front of me and other customers. She loudly said "why are people being assholes." And then processed to rudely ring up customers. When it was my turn, the girl on the register (I believe she was new) was doing her job well and Jill made a horrible comment about her. She stated "she is dyslexic" when she mixed up the numbers on the screen. I can't even image having someone joke like that, because I personally struggle with it. Not to mention, the other employee I believe named Jessica, was treating the new girl horribly. Saying stuff like "have you learned nothing?" And telling her to yell and be loud at the customers. I was able to hear all of their inappropriate behavior and intolerance for customers. If this kind of ableist behavior is tolerated, I can't even imaging what other negligence those women are doing. Keep in mind I was in line for 10 minutes and I witnessed all this. These employees need to be dealt with. PERIOD. read more

What a fun name giggle Springs. When I saw that I knew I had to go in and check it out, and buy something and giggle a little bit myself. It is I clean well stocked mini market when the deli counter in a hot counter and looks good to me I bought a couple goodies, filled up the tank outside I was on my way. As a local, I highly recommend the made-to-order sandwiches to my fellow locals, especially because we know how tough it is to find a delectable sandwich here in Bishop. Best ones in town are here at Giggle Springs! Add to it now, they have soups and can even make you a custom pizza. Don't pass this place up because they have everything you need, including a large selection of spirits and beer (even though it's not what I'm into). It used to be called Giggle Springs and I think it's Pace now. I'm a polite person and asked in a friendly manor for a key ring. The larger, older female was acting like a complete bitch for no reason. It pissed me off and ruined my whole mood, made me never want to stop in there for gas, food, or anything to be honest. I get it, you could be having a shitty day, but when I'm working and I'm pissed I'm still polite to customers. And I was doing all this extra bullshit like smiling and asking how she is. Waste of time. Go anywhere else if you want to be treated a bit more decent. read more

LOVE this place. Not your average convenience store! You'd never know they have a dedicated wine room and an extensive inventory of wines. Also, their food is five star good, affordable and always with the freshest ingredients. They have an upstairs eating area that is spotless all the time. Their gas is cheapest in town and customers service is an A+. I live 20 minutes away but go out of my way to shop, eat, buy wine and get gas there. One of Bishop's best known secrets. Was all excited when BF and I pulled into the parking lot. "You really like this place, don't you?" BF says to me. "Yeah, it's cool and has everything!" I reply. *Envision Scooby Doo psychedelic graphics going throughout the screen with that dododo...dododo...dododo...sound * Their wine selection was crap. $15 for a bottle that would be $6 at home. And CRAP wine, not decent wine or even marginal wine. I get things are 100x more expensive at convenience stores and you don't get the best selection but come on! All the decent hard alcohol was gone. They still had Hornitas but neither one of us wanted that. The girl at the check stand proceeded to have a loud, somewhat personal conversation THE ENTIRE TIME about family/mutal friends with another employee that was just standing at the other side of the counter. She had the nerve to get irritated when she had to swipe BF's credit card more than once. Maybe if you were paying attention and would shut your yap for 30 seconds, there wouldn't be an issue. The only reason I gave three stars instead of two this time? They had three kinds of Rogue beer that I hadn't tried yet and the did have AbbaZabba candy bars. No, I don't like AbbaZabba's but Roomie's kids do and I like to take care of them when I can. Major disappointment read more

This place is disgusting. The service is repulsive. I went in there with my service dog who wears a bright red vest that states he is a service dog. A worker named Jessica screamed at me that there is no dogs allowed, she ran after us continuing to scream "no dogs in here" not giving us a second to let her know that he was a service dog. She not only embarrassed me but showed unprofessional etiquette with the ineptitude to provide the bare minimum of ethical customer service. She did not apologize for her misconduct of communication even after she was told he was a service dog. We have been coming to giggle springs for a long time now, it's open late, unlike the Sinclair across the street, but today my fiancé and I went inside to use the restroom prior to putting gas, and the lady at the counter gave my fiancé attitude and told him he wasn't welcome to use the restroom anymore, that they're for paying customers only, I mean it's a gas station... we parked at the pump.. at a gas station. don't know when the customer service went to crap but it is now. Okay......I love Giggles Deli. Sandwiches are bomb. HOWEVER-the older lady that works behind the counter is outrageously RUDE. I have actually been avoiding going here for a few months because that woman was so bitchy & rude. She's so frazzled & yells at her co workers & customers! I came in today & saw her making sandwiches & almost walked out. I stayed....waited there for 5 minutes before she decided to yell, "HAVE YOU ORDERED YET?! IM BUSY!" It was literally me, my husband & my niece there waiting. No one else. She was so upset that we had the audacity to ORDER A SANDWICH AT LUNCH TIME! Last time I checked, it's a deli. That serves sandwiches to go, for lunch! She was snapping at the young woman working along side her. The nice younger lady took our order. A turkey sandwich on a roll with everything. Except tomatoes on half. My husband is allergic & we were sharing a whole sandwich. So the whole time she's making it, she's slamming things around, tossing things around, muttering rude comments under her breath about how busy she is & how she doesn't have time to make sandwiches & this is going to be a really long wait....we were basically bothering her. The young woman was apologizing to us & I could tell she was embarrassed. Then the old lady was mad that we asked to cut the sandwich in half & place in 2 separate bags. Because we had to go back to work at separate places. This wasn't the first time she's acted this way. In fact shes acted this way for years. If you don't want to make sandwiches then why work there?? Btw, my sandwich sucked after all that. & she gave us tapioca pudding when we asked for potato salad & we didn't get pickles. Never going back when she's working. I'm convinced she's related to the owner...no one in their right mind would let an employee treat patrons that way. I have been going to Giggles for years and the deli has broadened their horizon. The options and food from the deli are great. Although the customer service has gone down alot. I am always afraid to see gas station bathrooms and regard them with some amount of trepidation. I was pleasantly surprised with the restroom, even considered resting in there, It just felt good, the blue tile lifts your spirits, and the absence of grafitti filled filthy toilets and clean floor reminded me of a hospital room, only the essence of the aroma device filled the air with jasmine flower scent. WOW! Since I was lighter on my feet and my back teeth were no longer floating, I thought to myself; I might as well eat, get drunk on nice bottle of wine and head over to the city park and see if any available females were wondering around loose, however I was running a bit late, (I like to fish in the early AM) and decided to forego the Girls , and went for the wine ( a mondavi reserve 1982) which turned out fortuitous for lucky me, a rare wine for ten bucks, and proceeded to consume it, I had been dreaming for years about finding an 82 burgundy so rich, it is said to be the best year they ever had, and I agree. Perfect. I then had my s/o relocate my vehicle to clear the pump island. I did want to be a thoughtful happy peppy person despite my decidedly upbeat mood, I could fake the rest. had the meatball sub, so as to not overwork the pleasant girls making it. I was pleasantly surprised again at the provolone (aficionado) it was just right, and there is a LOT that can go wrong with a M.B.S. but after a thoughtful bite (palette cleansed) I determined it to be in the top five I've ever had, no mean feat, I am 87 years old next week. So I was off (as in driving) and bemoaned to my chick that I would love to move there just to buy that place and live happily ever after! She dilligaffed and just stared out the window knowingly, she then said, what the hell! Just do it then. I've never traded the beatnick lifestyle for putting down roots, but gave it a quick well deserved moment, and said "one never knows in this life, anything weird can happen when you not diligently tending your lifestyle" She told me to shut the F up, and asked me if I was watching porn or something to take such a long time on a review ( I actually write very few) I told her half naked self that I am to be pittied rather than scorn , and could she sit a little closer. I just want to commend the staff for dealing day in and day out with the customers who go in there thinking it's ok to treat them like crap and talk to them in a degrading manner. I have witnessed on many occasions some of the crap they have had to deal with and yelp reviews that followed and let me tell you how 1 sided they are. Dont believe the awful lies that people with nothing better to do have written because a little thing as being told restrooms are for customers or how dare staff voice their feelings about how rude someone was to them( because it's not like they are human and have feelings too!!)is so offending you my friend need to step off your high horse and maybe next time appreciate them for risking their life and their families to serve us even after all the crap that is said and done to them. AND!!!!! For providing us with clean OPEN restrooms is worth a little candy or a water dont be a cheap obnoxious ass who cant support a local buisness but can sit and write an awful review or make a big scene in the store calling the employees names and yelling at them all just to make themselves feel better, with all that extra time on your hands maybe you can volunteer to clean the restrooms for them, or clean up all the trash we cant seem to get inside the trash cans, hell simple honesty and appreciation could do wonders. Really easy and convenient stop for gas and snacks between Los Angeles and Mammoth. Competitive prices on gas; I'd recommend stopping here instead of waiting until you get to Mammoth because the prices will be 20-50 cents higher per gallon there. Employees are friendly enough (meaning, they're not outwardly rude, and what more do you really need from someone you're buying coffee and cheetos from really). Plus the name--Giggle Springs! This is my favorite place to get gas in Bishop. Why you ask? The women's bathroom is so clean and even has a tile mosaic in the bathroom. Sometimes when you're road trippin a clean sink is enough to make you smile. read more

This is one of the cheaper places in town to buy gas, but the convenience store is what is best about this place. They have a nice selection of beer and wine, some of the hard stuff, too. Snacks, groceries, and sundries can all be had. Clean bathrooms, too! read more
