We stopped by this store all the way home from Crowley Lake Stone Column just to ask for restroom use. It completely surprised me. . Exactly same the name " General Store". You can find any essential needs here. Small store but has everything. A simple gas station - Public restroom with keylocked - snacks - housemade bakery / bread / pizza / brownie / muffins / cookies. We did not get chance to try their popular pizza and lemon curd cake. But the blueberry muffin's good and really big ( forgot to take picture ). Super friendly - welcoming staff. They got too busy the time i came. But all of them are great in helping customers. Restroom not only for customers. Just ask key at cashier. Nice clean single restroom with keylocked. "Make sure lock the door before leaving. " Highly recommend if you around mammoth lake or travel to crowley lake. Quick stop but can't be forgotten. read more

today I called to place an order, after my 4th phone call attempt finally Jacob answer the call. I stated the call by mentioning I will like to place a Togo order. the 1st answer I got from Jacob was sorry I have no cook, once again I asked if I could please place an order. 2nd answer I received from Jacob was I told you I have no cook and this may take up to an hour. for a 3rd time I asked nicely if I could place an order to go I was ok with waiting. after the order was taken Jacob mentioned for again I have no cook and I don't know when he is coming back. as a local it disappoints me having to try to attempt several times to try to place an order, I order from this place often after this encounter I will rather take my service and money to another local restaurant that's has better customer service. read more

I adore the general store. It's small and unassuming from the exterior but inside there's a almost a full restaurant kitchen serving delicious made to order pizzas and sandwiches. They also do baked goods and heat and eat entrees. You'll be surprised at how much stuff is actually in there. When my dog suffered a medical incident I needed hydrogen peroxide and they had it on the shelf. Saved her from getting sicker and possibly an emergency visit to the vet. I try to buy gas here as often as I can and there's never much of a line. Skip the pushing and shoving in Mammoth and get your gas and road trip snacks here. They do propane filling too for often the same or cheaper than Mammoth. read more

It's stock with fishing gear, ice, homemade desserts, soft drinks, beer, wine, and the food made here is all very tasty. If you want breakfast, pizza, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, soup, coffee this is your place. The inside of the store is clean and there are tables and chairs outside if decide to eat there. HORRENDOUS!! Owners needs to fix whatever those kids working there are doing. Been coming up here for 17 years and when i come now get yelled at mocked pushed and rushed out of the store way before closing and they have there little friends back in the kitchen walking around blocking all the cold food from us. So disappointed at what this store has become. Not to mention the kids following us around the town in their truck following us and parking where ever we went. I have been coming to Crowley Lake Market for 10 years. I am a camp host in Rock Creek and been sending campers every year. Not any more! Tha people working at the store need some major lessons in customer service. Tha guy checking me out needs to get off his phone and do his job! The guy in the kitchen needs to listen to what people are ordering. I will be sending my camper s to Mammoth or Convict . Who ever owns this place needs to to get their act together. Stopped by for gas at the Shell and saw they had signs for breakfast burritos and coffee. When I asked for an americano the girl working near the oven was kinda rude and said the machines were broken in a rude manner. The latin lady working next to her was really nice though. They ran out of black coffee so we had to get the sugar ridden cappuccino drinks instead. Overall the store was cool, it felt really old fashioned which I appreciated. The ham breakfast burrito was tasty, slightly salty but it did the job before we hit traffic. They also have chorizo but I didn't wanna risk it being on the road lol read more

Also good selection of drinks, beer, wine, hats, souvenirs and fishing tackle. A clean well kept place to take a break and have some pizza, a drink and sit outside relax and enjoy a peaceful moment and fill up with gas before hitting the road again. It is interesting to read some of the reviews here that act as though this little out of the way place should somehow have the same pricing schedule and marketing strategy as a storefront in a big city. This small mom-and-pop shop at the base of the Eastern Sierras is adjacent to Crowley Lake Fishcamp, about five minutes north of Tom's place, and maybe 15 minutes south of Mammoth Lakes on the 395. If you're camping at any of the several hundred trout streams or lakes in the area, this little store comes in awful handy if you have forgotten some essential item. Granted you might spend $.50 to a dollar more for a bag of marshmallows or a can of chili, but when you consider the nearest "large city" is Bishop, fully 15 miles down the hill from Lake Crowley, you'll end up spending more in gas just getting there and back. To be honest, we have always planned our gasoline strategy carefully enough to never necessitate filling up here. Indeed, prices are higher here in this small out-of-the-way place then they might be in other cities along the 395. All told, the store has basic sundries and essentials needed for a good camping trip. Firewood, canned goods, a reasonably stocked trout fishing tackle wall, Hot coffee, sandwiches, a softserve ice cream machine, and hot delicious pizza are just a few of the offerings from the small place. Ice is available for sale in both bag form and large block. There is a restroom facility in the back which is as unassuming as the people who run the store. This is perhaps not the kind of place that you would deliberately get off the 395 to visit. However, if you're staying in the area, and you find that you have forgotten Hershey's chocolate for your s'mores... This place will keep your campfire cheerful. read more

If you're a city-born millennial looking to survive in the rugged Sequoias, or even just your average Joe or Jane hanging out in the eastern Sierras, Crowley Lake General Store is the place to stock up. It's a surprising complete small grocery/goods mart just off the 99, easily accessible on the way to Mammoth. We stayed in Crowley Lake this past summer for a few days as a jumping off point for Mammoth and Yosemite, and in those few short days visited the general store here at least three times. Although a little more expensive than a Vons or something in the city, this little gem has an excellent selection of the basics such as camping supplies and cooking necessities, along with goodies like a wide range of kombucha, Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and other things that are helpful for wilderness survival. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! We moved to Crowley a year ago and starting coming here regularly for everything from lunch to diapers to toiletries. It's amazing because they have a little bit of everything, but they also have their own cafe where they make amazing pizza and sandwiches and the best pasta salad I have ever had. And to top it off, they have a little outside play area for children that my son loves. He honestly demands to go out there every time to go to the market. The most important part, for me at least, is the fact that everyone working there has always been very sweet to me and my family. Really well stocked as far as general stores go - a little bit of something for everyone. Three areas that really stand out: First, their wine selection is one of the best in the county. You can find all sorts of amazing wines from both recognized CA vintners, along with some surprises. Second, their tackle section is amazing. They have everything a visiting fisherman needs. I could spend an hour an hour or more just browsing through the various lures, flies and tackle. Last but not least, they have an AMAZING little cafe that makes and serves the most delicious breakfast croissants, breakfast sandwiches, pizza, roast chicken, and more. We are locals and we order dinner from here usually once a week. The owners and staff are all friendly and helpful as well. All in all a brilliant little store! read more

Great little spot! The staff here are SO kind - they went above and beyond in every aspect of our visit. They noticed my boyfriend feeling unwell and went out of their way to suggest and help us find things that might help. Their food was delicious, as was their coffee.
