It's a domino effect where one visit requires another visit to fix whatever new issues exist. After putting in a new touchscreen there was a bright orange rim around the screen. Plain as day. They told me next time I'm in they'll burn that off. ??? Just do it right the first time. After they did my door handle it broke again and I did it myself. Brought my car in to replace a loaner wheel. Loaner wheel is clearly a different color and size from the other 3 wheels. It was put on by the tow service provided by Tesla. Came to pick up the car, only to discover that the wrong wheel was replaced. Technicians and staff all seemed very confused. Never quite got an answer as to what happened. They assured me that a mobile service would contact me the next day to come out and change this wheel. I am still waiting. Of course there is no way to contact anyone and no phone number to call. All I can do is keep refreshing the app to see if there is an updated message. I am at their mercy unless I show up unscheduled back at the service center. See pictures! read more

My second Tesla and my first picking up from here and having to bring it back in to this Service Center for service. The staff, each of my now 6 times here with this vehicle, don't pay attention and quite literally don't do the work. I've had to bring it in for a spoiler that fell off 3 times. On pick up, the rear interior was falling down, there were multiple scratches and there were rattles in the interior. All of these could be fixed with a service appointment in one go. The sad part for Tesla as a company, they make a solid product, but their service is losing them money on multiple service appointments instead of just one and also not taking care of customers. Owned a Tesla starting in 2018, I'll probably switch to something with an established service record like Mercedes or Porsche after this. read more

Had a Tesla Model X P100D lease for 3 years. They never wanted to cover anything. I had to beg and plead with them to repair certain things not once, twice or three times but after MULTIPLE follow ups. Worst customer service I've ever experienced from a vehicle manufacturer / dealer / service all across the board 1* rating. I've been with Range Rover, BMW and Mercedes over the years and nothing compares to those. Tesla needs to get its customer service together. Today I'm having issues with the insurance (Tesla Insurance from Tesla) continually billing me because one department didn't correctly file my lease return and then I was told I still have an unpaid accumulated balance on my account which is to laugh about because that's just not true. But the car - the car speaks for itself - I loved it. I drove every day and always used the autopilot which is a wonderful feature for long drives. I work in property management so that came in very handy going from location to location. May come back for the new plaid or to get my hands on a roadster. Worst Tesla retail store to purchase a new car hands down. DO NOT I repeat do not buy a Tesla or at least not from the Burbank location. Before I get started, I will point out explicitly, Diana (service advisor manager as she called herself this) along with her 2 male associate advisors in the service room , Luis and the other male which we do not remember his name, are absolutely incompetent, do not care about customer service and even your safety driving a new vehicle. They all based in the Burbank location. All three have been trained poorly, cannot articulate any information we asked, and lethargic to the absolute maximum. They don't even know how to work their internal systems, does not have clear knowledge on the Tesla vehicles, and they absolutely do not provide consistent communications and directions on how to proceed with vehicle appointments. KEEP READING: 7.15.23 (Saturday) - we picked up our new Tesla Model 3. The delivery associates were quick to have us sign off on the delivery and drive off the lot. Do not make this mistake. Inspect your new vehicle before driving off the lot. We drive our NEW vehicle and head on the freeway and the Tesla has a message that states "Pull over safely - Vehicle shutting down". As a new tesla customer we were scared of course since the car shut down on the freeway. It tells us to open the car and close and that might help the issue. So we do that and the car starts back up. We thought that was the first and last time we will see this issue. Nope, we were wrong! 7.16.23 (Sunday) - we start the car this morning and we drove few miles and the car does the exact same thing. And once we tell her we want to bring the car in to the service department she states we have no available openings today or tomorrow..not until the end of July. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? A brand new tesla owner can't get their car looked at immediately? I was upset at her lack of knowledge on the tesla software, the issues we were having and her pure incompetence about the situation. So after I clearly correct her and tell her it happened not once but 3 times total now she starts stating, "oh the technician needs to see it" "the service department in Buena Park can take you guys" "oh we just got an opening in Burbank because the customer cancelled an appointment here". At this point she clearly is lethargic, does not care about customer service, and I have absolutely zero confidence in her ability to perform in her job. She is someone that just loves to talk but can't produce any results or actions. This level of incompetence goes for the same for her associates, Luis and the other male sitting next to him. All three: Diana, Luis, and the other male has the audacity to lie in front of our face, continue to misinform their customers, as well as start to raise their tones to their customers. We ultimately took our new Tesla back to Burbank where we purchased the vehicle. This is where we saw Luis, Diana, and the other guy in person. This is where Luis' "memory" and his ability to "articulate" shinned (obviously not). The 1st issue on the car where it shut down randomly was the main reason we brought the car back in, but as we drove to the dealer we found issues with the mirror lining and rubber part that is attached to the door. We explained to Luis that we came here yes because of the car shutting down, but now we found more issues on our new car as we drove here. Luis stated let me write this down and after I submit this new issue you can make another appointment on the tesla app. Another appointment? How does it make sense to make multiple appointments when your car is already here for an appointment. Luis stated once I submit this you can make an appointment for the other issue. So we waited and waited and nothing in the app to schedule another appointment. We go back in and this is where the 2nd guy saids you cant make another appointment until your first appointment is finished. Are you serious? Do you see the consistent misinformation and incompetence that is shared across the service department. They all just talk, but don't have the due diligence to check what the correct way of things are done even at their dealer location. It all starts from the top down. Diana misinforming us from the start should have conveyed to me her team member are an exact reflection of her. I came with my friend to pick up his car. We checked in and we're told it'll be a 15-20 minute wait. After an hour of no one calling us, we went back to check again. They said the car is currently getting ready still so we went back to wait. Another hour pass and even after we got drinks, the car wasn't ready yet. Finally after 2 hours, it was ready. The pick up time was set at 5pm and we didn't get it until it was almost 7pm. I highly reccomend setting aside a few hours of your time just to pick it up. My car bricked Monday evening and was towed to Tesla Burbank. It is now Friday. I have been told it is being repaired but no details on what service is being performed. They don't answer the phone and now the app is off-line so I can't see the message they supposedly sent this morning. The automated phone system says my car won't be ready for two more weeks. I have repeatedly requested a loaner vehicle as my children need to be driven places. One is in a car seat (not simple to drag in and out of Ubers). Completely agree about customer service. You spend a lot for a luxury car and it's great when it works, but buyer beware if something happens and you have to leave your car there because the service is questionable. I gave them 2 stars because in the end I didn't have to pay for the services rendered, but I'm also upset because there was literally zero communication from their end while my car was being serviced. Nobody contacted me to tell me that my car would need to stay the next day and when it could be picked up at all (even through the app) and nobody even told me what happened while my car was there. You call the service center and nobody answers. To make matters worse, my uber voucher expired so I had to pay out of pocket for my ride home from work and back to pick up the car, and then I had to physically drive to Tesla Burbank for reimbursement which could have easily been handled over the phone. But again, nobody answers the phone (trust me, I called numerous times) and if they do, they pass it off. I purchased my first Tesla and the pick up experience here was not what I expected for a luxury vehicle. To start the location looks very cheap. The staff working here are not all wearing Tesla apparel which got confusing because it was a busy Saturday. The staff I did interact with were nice and helpful, but it seemed like everyone was scrambling around moving cars trying to take pictures of the cars. I had to check in 3 times because my car was delayed and no one bothered to call or text me that the car was late. The car arrived and I had to continuously ask about it even though I had already matched the VIN. Staff kept saying we will help with any questions but then they would just leave to help others and forget about me. This location needs their staff support to be better organized with new and existing clients. The process was not very enjoyable and feeling like I had to beg them to give me my car because they kept saying it will be ready in 5 minutes. In total I was there for an hour which online and the salesman I spoke to the day before said the process is 15 minutes only unless I have questions for the staff. Coffee and water were finally offered when I was about to leave. No congratulations sign was put inside my car with my name like everyone else who had purchased a car. I walked in here with a friend and we were very disappointed. I know nothing about tesla and had some questions which is normal for one planning to buy. I had to ask everything myself and didn't even get clear answers on anything and I felt like they wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible . They didn't tell me that depending on certain parts including color and wheels prices change and I found out about this after doing some research on my side but it was too late because I already ordered a car. My friend was planning to get a Tesla too but this service made him change his mind. I don't know how Tesla can be so careless and treat customers like this. Consistent service every single time. Service always checks in promptly and issues are promptly addressed. Staff is courteous and actually checks to go over all issues before taking your car in. Some of my most recent visits have been able to be taken care of the same day - alerts appearing or tire issues. I just picked up a Tesla Model 3 two weeks ago and already had my car serviced TWICE. PLEASE listen to the 1 star reviewers, they are NOT pansies, they are for real. When you pick up your car, BE THOROUGH and check all the panels and doors and MAKE SURE THE USB PORTS WORK. I picked up the car (supposed to be new but had 12 miles, must have been a loaner) was rushed into sitting in and a quick demo on how to use the controls. Off you GO! They do NOT give you a walk around to check the body for any defects as what most dealerships do, even buying a Toyota Yaris or Corolla would give you a walk-around, turns out my Model 3 has a front hood with one side higher than the other, the rear driver side door sticks out slightly all the time, it looks like it's always open. The USB ports did not work in the front and there is software update issue that does NOT push through (even with strong wifi signals) Even with all this, I still gave it 3.5 stars because this is damn fun to drive......what lowers them down to 2 star? Their mobile service team came out twice - the first time was the fix the USB ports, fixed and now that usb port 'fix' triggered a software update issue coincidentally, and doesn't work, now the key cards don't work. Called in service again to come out, they can't fix either Software update nor the key card issue......fine, let's setup a drop in for the service center. Service center asks me to drop the car at 6pm Friday, no loaner available nor any rental credit. read more

I would like to start off by saying that they have a great product with great features. However the delivery process was absolutely horrendous. I was expecting so much more from such a reputable company. I tried reaching out to customer service and dialed over 18 times, the two times I got through, the person on the other line who happened to be the same guy both times, was a sales rep at a kiosk in a mall. He was unable to answer any of my questions and had no other number to provide for me. I expressed to him that the pickup location was too far and I would like the drop off to be at a Tesla dealership closer to me, he basically said that I was going to be stuck driving to Burbank because I bought my car online and not in a store or dealership location. Moving on to the day of the pick up. That day I thought was going to be the exciting part of this process, all to find out that the vehicle wasn't ready and wasn't made available to me until 4 hours after my appointment time. Then when I got the car, it was full of crumbs and the back seat was covered in glitter of some sort, not sure what that was all about. Also, on my final invoice the $500 referral code was missing and I didn't receive the $500 discount, after clicking the link from a referral. I am real happy with my new car, but the hassle of obtaining it, was very distasteful and I would think twice before referring someone I love or know. Worst customer service. I'm brand new to Tesla and not starting off with a great experience. Delivery scheduled for 6/30 and did not receive a call until the morning of delivery that my vehicle will be delayed for one week. Moreover, they've already taken the down payment and first month of lease payment for a vehicle that I don't have. I contacted Tesla and the customer representative informed that the delivery date was "tentative". The word "tentative" was never used in any of the multiple emails or text messages confirming delivery for 6/30. The Tesla website even states that once vehicle becomes available, delivery will be scheduled. Instead they scheduled a delivery, took the down payment and first month payment without the car being available. Updated Review: After making a complaint via telephone and by email for the delayed delivery, I was contacted by one of the managers (Emilia) from Tesla around 5PM and was informed that Tesla located a car for me and ultimately delivered the car this evening. Although there was a rough start with the delivery process, I'm happy that Tesla followed through with the scheduled delivery date. read more

Once you received your car, no chance to get any help, don't need you anymore, just say the magic word "already received my car" and you'll get disconnected, ignored, and disrespected. If you are looking to get a Tesla, you've probably watched some videos and saw that that car has tons of cosmetic problems, and you probably, just like me, decided to buy it anyway and deal with it later. the problem is, later is no good for tesla, you are useless for them now because you've already spent your money. Here is my store; I received my car at 9:30 pm, the person who delivered it, did not give me any instruction of help in any way. I've asked him to bring the car into the garage so I can look at it in the light and he said they are not allowed to. and he left. I didn't even know how to start it or how to adjust the mirrors and basically, it was a nightmare. also, the car was delivered with almost 60 miles on it. The next morning I've set up a service call to install the Homelink (you need to buy is separate for $300.00) and after that I've noticed a paint-chip on the back bumper, I tried to create another service all but YOU CANNOT DO IT if you already have a call open. I called Burnak and talk to a manager, and he said not to worry, as soon as the close the first call I can report it, which I did (at 300 miles, 4 days later). Two weeks after, I got a call from Tesla service at Burbank, saying they are not willing to fix that because it has reported after 100 miles. I've told him the story and he didn't care, he basically said that I can call the guy that I've talked to before and he can help me, but as far as service, they are not willing to do anything. I called again to Tesla in Burbank, and the day who answered (David) hang up the phone on me as soon as I said that I've already received the car. I called again, and the same thing, but he did have time to tell me that he didn't hang up on purpose and that he did it again. 3rd time I called, he answered and I've asked to speak to a manager, for 4:30 minutes he argues with me that there's a bad connection, which we did take for over 4 minutes, and when I insist to be transferred, I've continued my conversation with a manager for another 20 min and magically no bad connection. digging around and reading other reviews, I'm not the only one that it happened to, and probably not the last. is my problem solved? Worst experience in Burbank After paying for Uber because there's no parking, the manager Tried to give me 2 lemons. Ridiculous after paying for car and signing papers, I was brought car 1 with dents on hood, scraps on door handles and major dent and scratches on front fender. Then I was brought 2 nd car where upholstery was pulling apart, a large paint blister on door and back of 3 rd row seat scraped front placement. I was told by manager I would get changed to a different location for pick up of a different Tesla. Minor detail he never changed the order, after 2 weeks of calling around I was brought to the conclusion that the manager kept my cash and didn't make changes to the order nor worry, nothing was done. Today, I was pleasantly surprised at the immaculate hospitality~ This is the first time fixing my tire that DIDNT cost an arm and a leg. I drove 55 minutes to get here because it was the closest location open on Sunday. My advisor was Luis, who had the tire inspected. He then explained what was going on and that there was an easy fix. I did not need a new tire, not even a patch! He saved me hundreds and I can't thank him enough for being honest to me. I applied to lease a Tesla Model Y and paid $250 and I got approved "conditionally". They ran my credit and said everything was approved but said that I had to trade in a vehicle. They did not even allow me to lease the vehicle but gave me the offer of paying cash or a third party lending. This is the worst Tesla operation I have ever had to deal with making the process much more difficult than it had to be.
