Possible oil pan leak

Don't come here. I believe this place is a front because they definitely did not try to sell me a car. I called on Monday to see if an 05 Xterra was available, I'm from Arizona and was gonna be in town. I asked for the carfax, Oleg never sent them over. Called Friday the day before arriving to make an appointment for 11:30am since they open at 11. 12:05, no one around, except a guy vaping in front of office. Came back at 12:30, guy vaping is now behind a desk ignoring me and another couple there looking to buy a vehicle. no interaction, not even asking probing questions to see what we're looking for. I finally got to see the car, I did just an exterior inspection and noticed they were selling a problematic vehicle. Clean on top of motor but underneath engine, so much oil leaking and it was all over. Didn't even want to test drive it. Check photos, oil leak has been therefor some time as it has collected dust and created smudge around parts. I didn't even want to make a lower offer knowing that the vehicle is in need of some major work to locate the leak first then repair. The service was straight up awful and vaping dude was bothered that he had to clock in that day.

This dealership left me feeling cheated. Per the owner's response to my revised post (see pic), it was stated I did not attempt to call them regarding my concern that they sold me a vehicle with an exhaust leak. I was looking for a small car as a work/daily driver along with the MPG's. Stellar auto had a car advertised for a very competitive price and the mileage was lower than everyone else around. It looked like a good car, so I looked at all the reviews from here and it made it seem very mixed ;like why the bad and then why the good ? I called and spoke to Jay, made my appointment and drove the 1.5 hr traffic (it's only 25 miles), should be 30min tops. What do you have to loose, right? I saw the card and looked at everything, drove the car and well for an 11 yr old car. It was better than expected! Haggle free pricing and besides trying to get a better rate for an 11yr old car. Easy peasy! Thanks a lot team.

Man oh man where do I begin let's start here .... They don't know anything about cars.... It's a simple flip operation... when I test drove the car... they had to jump it red flag... number one *** drove for 20 minutes ac never worked **** my wife called and said Q: b4 my husband comes is there any thing wrong with the car ..... A: NO .... Husband drives car 20min check engine light pops on & AC doesn't work... A: We have are own mechanics Husband: If you Paid them you should ask for your money Back because if they can recharge an AC... what else can't they do ... Buyers beware!!! DO NOT pay for a warranty here. In fact, I don't think they even offer warranties anymore because they are a scam. I was sold a warranty with the information that I could cancel at any time for the remainder of the deposit paid would be refunded to me. I contacted Stellar Auto and they confirmed they received my request. When I followed up they said this never received it. Yet my family and I received a verbal confirmation over a telephone call that they did. The worst part of all of this was the verbal abuse I had to endure by Jay. His berating and calling me crazy and that I have lost it. This is all very well documented and I will be taking them to small claims. I even mentioned my poor health condition and Jay further verbally assaulted me. To the point I had to hang up he was so vile with his demeanor to me. Over his mistake!!! He dropped the ball. This has been extremely stressful and has caused undue stress that has escalated my medical condition. Please do not purchase a car from this company. They also sell cars that have mechanical problems. Make sure to have your own mechanic look under the hood!!!

Aleksandr was my salesman and I have to say he went above and beyond to find my daughter her car. Low miles and in great shape. We did very well with our dealer locating the car and color she wanted. The best part was the price was very good. As I paid for the car as her College present, I was super happy.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I purchased a nice car from Stellar Auto and the engine blew up before the title even arrived to my house. This car has had issues since I drove it off the lot and Stellar Auto did not respond to my voicemails and could not have cared less. When I told them the engine blew up within a few weeks of me purchasing the vehicle they told me there was nothing they could do. I am a college student and trusted them and their mechanics to sell me a RELIABLE CAR. I now wasted $14,500 and have no car to get me to work school. The dealership is unresponsive and my experience with them has been HORRIBLE. I wouldn't send my worst my enemy to this place. They should be ASHAMED to be ripping people off. There is no way their mechanic service the engine and didn't notice the issues. SHAME ON STELLAR AUTO.

I simply wanted clarification on what diagnostics were performed before agreeing to a $6,000-$7,000+ transmission replacement. The repair order showed that they pulled codes and performed a visual inspection, noting leaking trans axle seals and a dented transmission pan. Based on that, they provided three options: replace the trans axle (with no guarantee it would fix the issue), install a used transmission, or install a new transmission. When I spoke to the advisor David K, I asked if the vehicle was test driven, I was told yes. However, the mileage in and out reflected only a 2-mile difference. When I asked how far they typically drive during diagnostics, my question was ignored. I also asked whether the transmission fluid was checked. Initially, I was told it's a CVT and there was no way to check it. After I mentioned that many CVTs do have procedures for fluid level/condition checks, I was then told the technician did check the fluid and that it was fine. Later, the manager stated it's a closed system and fluid cannot be checked unless a service is performed. The information was inconsistent throughout the conversation. As someone who has worked as a service advisor in both dealership and independent shop environments, I have never seen a transmission replacement recommended solely on pulled codes and a visual inspection without further diagnostic testing, especially without a thorough test drive or fluid analysis. Low or contaminated transmission fluid -- particularly with known leaks present -- can trigger multiple transmission codes and should be ruled out before recommending full replacement. When I asked for clarification, I was repeatedly interrupted. The manager told me "congratulations" when I explained my background in the industry and questioned what the point of my call was. I was also told to take the vehicle elsewhere because other dealerships charge more per labor hour than them so Good Luck. Asking questions before authorizing a major repair should not be met with dismissiveness or rudeness. Customers deserve transparency, consistency, and respect! Especially when facing a multi-thousand-dollar repair decision. After this call, I contacted another Toyota dealership and two transmission specialists. All stated that a proper diagnostic would include a test drive and fluid inspection/analysis, even on a CVT. I am extremely disappointed in both the diagnostic approach and the way this situation was handled. I would strongly recommend seeking a second opinion!!

Just license, fees, and first month's payment DAS (due at signing). I started the process on Sunday afternoon when they were closed and went to the dealership on the following Saturday to pick up the car. This was the most stress free car buying experience of all time for me. Once I told Sam about the make, model, and trim I wanted with no add-ons, he went to work getting me the best quote. There was a dealer that quoted $13 more than the first dealer and Sam tried to get the dealer to come down in price to match the first offer. He didn't so we went with the first dealer to lock in a low monthly payment plus tax. None of that "cap cost reduction" nonsense you see in the car dealer ads that fool you into thinking you got a deal. You are just prepaying the lease and lowering your monthly payments. The deal that Sam got me was low selling price for the car, standard residual (set by the bank), lease rebate, zero upsell. In fact, I just dealt with Sam 100% of the time. I got the contract emailed to me to sign. Sam met me at the dealership to sign a couple of DMV forms. I wrote the check to the dealership, then Sam drove the car out to the pick up area. ZERO CONTACT WITH ANYONE AT THE VW DEALERSHIP! No games at the finance desk, no wasted time going back and forth, honest selling price of car, and standard money rate with the lease. Sam basically shielded me from all the high pressure sales tactic and made sure I got the best deal. Do yourself a favor and hire a professional like Sam to battle the dealership. This was truly and EZ experience and there was no fee or bill from Sam.

He searched low, and although we didn't get the vehicle in the color that I wanted, we found the vehicle I wanted! COMMUNICATION: Garry was outstanding at taking all of my calls and text messages and always replying to me even when he was busy with other customers he would always let me know he would get back to me and he did! Tips to the buyer or leaser: I strongly recommend women using this Auto Group broker. They are exceptional at understanding the needs and having multiple conversations until you are able to figure out which vehicle you want versus what you actually need. As this was my first time leasing a brand new car Garry helped to organize the structure of how to go about getting the vehicle. I think the only thing I would've liked that did not happen is that he would've been able to actually go down with me to get the car at the dealership in Culver City. Typically how it works is you do everything online! Garry does all the heavy lifting and negotiating and getting it down to a price that is within your budget or finding you a vehicle or having you wait until the time is right. I was expecting that he would try and sell it as is but he has it repaired and even emailed a picture of the completed repair.
