Don't come here. I believe this place is a front because they definitely did not try to sell me a car. I called on Monday to see if an 05 Xterra was available, I'm from Arizona and was gonna be in town. I asked for the carfax, Oleg never sent them over. Called Friday the day before arriving to make an appointment for 11:30am since they open at 11. 12:05, no one around, except a guy vaping in front of office. Came back at 12:30, guy vaping is now behind a desk ignoring me and another couple there looking to buy a vehicle. no interaction, not even asking probing questions to see what we're looking for. I finally got to see the car, I did just an exterior inspection and noticed they were selling a problematic vehicle. Clean on top of motor but underneath engine, so much oil leaking and it was all over. Didn't even want to test drive it. Check photos, oil leak has been therefor some time as it has collected dust and created smudge around parts. I didn't even want to make a lower offer knowing that the vehicle is in need of some major work to locate the leak first then repair. Overall, at first, they seemed trusting and reasonable by allowing you to take the car off the lot to the mechanic and getting it checked. However, sealing the deal was an extremely frustrating experience. BE WARNED: this dealership is completely intolerant of negotiation, despite listing vehicles above Kelley Blue Book value. They treat the CarGurus price as final and non-negotiable, regardless of market comparisons or condition. On top of that, there is a $500 "anti-theft" fee that they insist is mandatory and refuse to remove. It is not required by California law, despite how it is presented. This fee was a dealbreaker. The warranty offered was also very limited, covering only the engine and transmission, which we ultimately found unnecessary. Finally, while we were actively negotiating the vehicle, we were suddenly told it had already been sold, with no prior indication that other buyers were involved. Whether poor communication or a sales tactic, it was handled unprofessionally. If you value transparent pricing, honest negotiations, and clear communication, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

I would give zero stars if I could! I was helping a friend get a car. It seemed like a good deal. However, she was called AFTER leaving with the car that the bank denied the loan because of inconsistent mileage. The bank told her it was a scam so she returned the car. Upon returning she was suckered into paying a restocking fee because she had already left with the vehicle (which she shouldn't have had to pay). It should have been taken care of before leaving and shouldn't have been any fault to her. I was looking for a small car as a work/daily driver along with the MPG's. Stellar auto had a car advertised for a very competitive price and the mileage was lower than everyone else around. It looked like a good car, so I looked at all the reviews from here and it made it seem very mixed ;like why the bad and then why the good ? I called and spoke to Jay, made my appointment and drove the 1.5 hr traffic (it's only 25 miles), should be 30min tops. What do you have to loose, right? Buyers beware!!! DO NOT pay for a warranty here. In fact, I don't think they even offer warranties anymore because they are a scam. I was sold a warranty with the information that I could cancel at any time for the remainder of the deposit paid would be refunded to me. I contacted Stellar Auto and they confirmed they received my request. When I followed up they said this never received it. Yet my family and I received a verbal confirmation over a telephone call that they did. The worst part of all of this was the verbal abuse I had to endure by Jay. This place completely ripped me off. I bought my car a few years ago from them and it's been nothing but problems. I had no idea that my car was recalled for serious issues (VW). The floor on the passenger side has a large stain that looks like dried up vomit that they clearly tried to cover by cutting up other parts of the carpet underneath the seat. They definitely charged me way too much for this car as well. Additionally, when taking said car in for recall repairs at VW, my car was marked as stolen, then marked as salvaged. UPDATED REVIEW: I bought a car as a gift from out-of-state, sight unseen. Jay helped me (and kept it a secret from my boyfriend who was also inquiring). That meant a lot to me. He was honest and answered my hundreds of questions without getting annoyed. lol. He set up an inspection for me at an auto shop near them. After a few days everything was taken care of. He walked me through every step. Stellar Auto worked with me on completing the sale and finding a good price on shipping. It took a few weeks after I purchased the car for it to ship. Finally, the car arrived 2 days after being shipped (CA to CO). The car was as their team and post described. My boyfriend was super excited to drive it. However, there were several problems getting the paperwork. It took well over a month to finally get everything. They seemed very disorganized on that end. Then after completing the paperwork and sending it back, it took another month to get the title. We even questioned if the car was stolen, because why would it take that long? When we finally got the title and took it to the DMV, Stellar Auto didn't even fill out their part to transfer it to me. We eventually got it handled, but it was a very stressful process. If you buy a car from Stellar Auto, make sure the paperwork is handled correctly. The car is cool, but because of the paperwork problems, we couldn't even drive the car for months because of it. The process from date of purchase, to getting the title to register it, took almost 3 months. I wouldn't recommend Stellar Auto for buying a car out-of-state. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I purchased a nice car from Stellar Auto and the engine blew up before the title even arrived to my house. This car has had issues since I drove it off the lot and Stellar Auto did not respond to my voicemails and could not have cared less. When I told them the engine blew up within a few weeks of me purchasing the vehicle they told me there was nothing they could do. I am a college student and trusted them and their mechanics to sell me a RELIABLE CAR. I now wasted $14,500 and have no car to get me to work school. The dealership is unresponsive and my experience with them has been HORRIBLE. I wouldn't send my worst my enemy to this place. They should be ASHAMED to be ripping people off. I must say, for a small lot this place had great customer service. They deal with high end cars and back up their claim of taking care of their customers. My Hummer H2 had some issues I noticed during the first test drive, I told them about it and they fixed the issues right away. I got the Hummer home and noticed it was leaking oil after a few days, I called them back and told them about it, they did not hesitate and told me to bring the truck back and they will fix whatever the issue was despite me not having a warranty. These guys are really cool to do that for me. They still have the truck (it's only been a couple of days) and they are texting me with updates. I'd recommend these guy to anyone. They're very easy to work with and do try hard to make you happy. 5 stars from me for sure so far. read more

In July, 2019 I bought a 2011 Cadillac SRX from Stellar and am sorry I did. There was a somewhat loud hum when driving the car, but I wasn't too concerned about that at the time as I thought it might be the particular tires on the vehicle. I drove the car back North and was quite pleased overall. The car was a big step up from the Dodge Ram that I had been driving. The hum turned out to be a bad wheel bearing. The cost so far has been almost $1,400 and I have been advised the front struts are worn out and will cost another $1,000. Being older, I don't do much driving at night so when I did I found that the low beam headlights were about non-existent. I made an appointment with a local reputable dealer to replace the headlights (they are large units and the front end has to come off to get to them) and ask about the hum in the rear. The lights have been fixed at my expense. To start with the key fob was taped together and the passenger side floor mat was missing. Both of these items were going to be sent to me in Northern California. After calling several times about the second key fob and the missing mat I figured that the dealer was just putting me on about replacing them. For a nice looking car, it sure hasn't been worth the hassle and I would not buy from these clowns again. Unfortunately, since they are in Burbank and I am in Northern California the chance I would buy from them again is nil, so they are probably not worried about having me as a return customer. I don't believe they are a reputable company. I have tried on-line to find a name of a management person but they don't show the names of anyone, obviously wanting to hide. They promise a lot, but never follow through so don't be fooled like I was. If you are serious about buying a particular car, could be worth the price of taking a mechanic with you. I believe the five-star reviews on this dealership are mostly put on by employees or friends of people working there. There cant be such a disparity in the ratings like this. The one-star reviews are more likely to be the rule. read more

I am not sure how this company has good reviews...maybe they have paid people to write them, I am not sure. The building they are doing business out of is the scariest building I have ever entered. There were a lot of cars on the lot....almost too many as there is little to no space for a potential customer to park their car. Upon arriving we walked in and were just looked at by the male and female who were in the office. Neither one of them looked up at us or looked excited to sell a car today. When I started asking them about specific cars they just pointed at the lot and told me to walk around and see what I like. This would be fine if any of the cars were marked with prices or anything relating to the car with info. When I asked if he could point us in the direction of what cars are in my price range the male looked disturbed and annoyed to get off of his bum and do something. A lot of the cars had windows open and sunroofs open collecting dust for who knows how long. There was a candy wrapper in one of the ford escapes, a soda bottle in another car's cup holder. Trash everywhere and the cars smelt terrible. I was ready to buy a car today. But the unprofessionalism and trash from the second I stepped foot on this lot was ridiculous. I don't recommend. Edit: I also asked about a specific car, it was across the street on N.Hollywood Blvd. The girl acted as if she was going to go get the car and then sat back down on her bum and didn't..I was waiting seeing as that car could have been the one, I would have paid cash right there. After 10 minutes I noticed she was just sitting there on her phone and had not gotten the car. These people are the epitome of LAZY. read more

These guys are phenomenal . I found my dream car here (Audi A8 L). They advertise as a no haggle dealer and it's true. That's because you won't find a better deal anywhere. Found the car online and called to come by. They told me the hours and even though the sales mgr. Jay wasn't there, Vlad showed me the car and features and answered questions. It had low mlge, was in great shape at a great price. Also got a good deal on my trade in. Sun shade motor in the back didn't work but they said they will take care of it. After driving a bit, I noticed oil smell. They came to my house to check it and then made an apptmnt with a certified repair shop to fix it - no charge. Put tinting on both sunroofs so didn't need to take down the interior lining to fix the motor. My choice. Accompanied me to both places to make sure all went well and it did. Couldn't be happier.
