Terrible Dealership Sells Unsafe Cars to start off before the test drive I noticed them putting AIR rear tire 2 weeks after purchase and putting air every couple days come to find out there was a nail the entire time they made me sign on a prize b4 test drive then I come back and they raise the price on me RIDICULOUS. sold me the car with wobbly rotors squeaky brakes aswell as cracking aged tires typically shit dealer

We had an appointment with Mario and it was the easiest time I had purchasing a car. I would highly recommend

Avoid them at all costs. When it got down to talking numbers I didn't even get to speak with the salesman because the manager hijacked the conversation and tried hitting me with the bait and switch. They'll buy modded vehicles purposely and will say they did the work themselves with no proof of invoices at all and will update their vehicles 7grand above sticker price. The manager told me I wouldn't find a nicer truck for the same price or cheaper and I told him bet, I got something way better.

Sure they'll finance you.. but it's not worth it in the least. A cautious hit or miss. I purchased a 2018 Acura TLX in 2023--they stated there was no past damage or issues. During the test run the car wouldn't even start!! They panicked and whipped out the ol' battery charger and told me to go inside to discuss financing while they worked on the car (first red flag). Discussed financing and went back out to see the vehicle, they continued with the battery charger since it was still having issues (second red flag).. why display or attempt to sell a car that won't even start? Eventually they claimed they "replaced" the battery (found out they didn't). Made it home, & a WEEK later.. the ENGINE FAILED!! I went through hell with the financing company as I still had to make payments despite the car being out of commission for FOUR MONTHS!! It was covered under warranty, however, the auto shop claimed the engine had shards of metal & attempted to point the finger at me although I only had the car for a week. A loaner vehicle was also promised--but I was given the runaround & eventually lied to about accommodations during that difficult time. All in all, their methods were unprofessional, haphazard & performed bare minimum to resolve issues only enough to cover themselves. I read bad reviews beforehand but thought "what are the chances of it happening to me" & low & behold.. it happened. Please be cautious & very thorough before committing to this dealership. Too bad I couldn't leave 0 stars. I would have sued if I had the time, opportunity, & lived closer

It's clear they care about their customers and stand behind the vehicles they sell. If you're looking for an honest dealership with great service and a no-pressure atmosphere, I highly recommend Hawthorne Motor Express.

Purchasing the vehicle was an easy process. We offered full cash for the vehicle and asked if the price would be negotiable, there was little to no wiggle room, so we did half cash and half finance. Drove the vehicle home the same day. On Thanksgiving evening (on our way out) the transmission went out while on the freeway. Car was loaded with the entire family, had to get the car towed to the mechanic while Ubering to our destination. We spent a couple thousand dollars in fixing the transmission, and a few hundred bucks on the tow truck along with the uber on Thanksgiving night. We haven't driven the truck for even 1000 miles and already replaced the transmission, which gives this place a 1 star rating. We did not call when the transmission went out, didn't think we'd get any consideration since we were considered owners of the vehicle already. However, we called 1-week after they responded to our google review and until today, we have not received follow up. If a follow up is received, I will post an update. The entire family was friendly and helpful throughout the purchasing process. My conclusion on this experience: I purchased a used vehicle at Hawthorne Motors Express and the transmission went out 3 months after owning it. *we are proud owners of 2 previously owned vehicles, which were purchased from Enterprise Car Sales. I know where I'll be going for my next car.

Do not waste your time or money with this place. I drove two hours for a 7:00 PM appointment that I explicitly confirmed with three different people, including Monte and David. When I arrived, the experience was a complete disaster. The employee who greeted me was visibly high, had absolutely no idea I had an appointment, and just pointed toward the car and told me to go look at it myself. There was also definitely a drug delivery happening right upon our arrival that we witnessed. After looking at the vehicle, another worker came out and flat-out told me they didn't even have the keys. He actually said, "We lose keys sometimes," with zero accountability. The entire office was disgusting, completely unprofessional, and reeked heavily of weed. When I explained that I had confirmed with Monte and David knowing I was driving two hours, nobody cared. They just dismissed me and said, "I'll call you when we get the key." When I called back to speak with David directly to complain, the Robert was incredibly rude and just put me on indefinite hold and then it hung up. I then called back and spoke to James who claims he was at the Hawthorne location, and he took zero accountability. He even admitted he had confirmed my appointment just three hours prior and actually laughed about the fact that the key was lost. I told him it wasn't funny, and when I asked to speak to David, James told me he had left for the day. Why would he leave when he knew I had an appointment? James just stated he confirmed the appointment with me. They don't verify anything, they have zero respect for people's time, and the staff is completely out of it and high. Avoid this place at all costs! Miss King is continuing to call me about the Tesla they "lost the keys for" for another appointment. FYI I have reported CarWorld to Truecar and they are under investigation. Truecar should be ashamed to be associated with this "business". So sloppy and embarrassing.

On top of that, the price we got was an absolute steal (4-5k LOWER than the KBB price). Big Thank You to Christian, James, and their GM for making this happen. This experience really changed the way I view car buying - I've learned that if you apply due diligence at every step of the sales process you can avoid a lot of the negative experiences that others have had. Prior to coming to LAX CDJR we had been to other dealers with cash in-hand, ready to buy and they all let us down one way or another so we walked away. When we came across a car we were interested in at LAX CDJR Christian was quick to respond to every request we made. We asked for a picture of the paint quality, he sent us a full 360 video. We asked for an OTD cash quote and he sent it to us within an hour and there were NO hidden fees or add-ons. Finally I asked if I can send a mechanic over there for a pre-purchase inspection (shout out to POMCAR) and Christian was more than accommodating, even offering to let us to take the car off the lot. Everything had gone so smoothly that I was actually expecting the inspection to come back with some major repairs needed, but nope. The 10 page report came back and the car was nearly flawless except for a few cosmetic issues. So we pulled the trigger. Of course no car buying experience is complete without the finance person screwing you over - but not here! We worked with James and he recognized that it was my son's first time buying a car so he immediately put him at ease cracking jokes and walking him through the process. He knew my son was only working part time so he didn't try to push other services on him that he knew he couldn't afford. When all was said and done my son had the biggest smile on his face and we couldn't be more grateful. In the last 20+ years I've purchased cars from Land Rover, BMW, Tesla, Porsche, Mercedes, etc and LAX CDJR was one of the easiest car buying experiences I've had.

I was directed to a desk where a sales woman named Chi came to greet me. Chi was completely professional and I was instantly relieved by her professionalism after my walk in experience. Chi steps away and brings a print out with the cost of the car, "add-ons", "fees", taxes, etc. I expect a dealership to offer me add-ons so I was prepared for that. I was NOT expecting the add-on's not to be listed with more than a cost of an additional $7000, plus $895 for another fee. Nothing was line itemed and the cost provided to me was more than $47,000 for a car I was expecting to pay $35,000 plus taxes and registration fees. At $47,000 I could purchase brand new Tesla Model Y *Look at Tesla's official website*. I stand up, shake Chi's hand and thank her for her professionalism and say "Well this is not the dealership for me.", he says "Great!!" walks away and then I walk out. No "Junk" Fees: Charging for "valueless" add-ons--such as oil change packages for electric vehicles--is a prohibited practice.
