I had a very upsetting and frustrating experience with Car World in Hawthorne. I purchased a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica from them in May 2025, and it hasn't even been a year. Shortly after buying the vehicle, I began having serious issues and believe I was sold a lemon. After leaving a Google review, someone from Car World publicly responded telling me to call or bring the car in so they could assist me. Based on that, I followed their instructions and arranged towing using my AAA benefits to bring the car back. When I arrived, the manager, Robert, was extremely rude and dismissive. He refused to help me and said there was nothing they could do. When I told him I believed they sold me a lemon, he sarcastically responded, "No, I sold you a tomato." I was shocked by how unprofessional and disrespectful this was. I explained that I purchased the vehicle in May 2025 and it hasn't even been a year. He told me he didn't care and said if I went past 30 days, that was on me. I told him no one offered me an extended warranty at the time of purchase. He responded, "Oh well, that's your problem."
