And yet, when I got it back, it was completely violated: My seat covers were torn off the strap's were cut Both mirrors were tampered with and broken My visors were ripped off And worst of all, they cut off my steering wheel cover There was zero reason for anyone to be inside my vehicle. This wasn't part of any repair order. I had photo documentation of exactly how my car looked before it was taken to them -- so I know for a fact none of this damage existed before. They take no accountability for what happened and offered no explanation. It's clear they don't respect customers, their property, or professional boundaries. This company was supposed to come pick up my car (which was a total loss following a collision). The other driver's insurance company said these guys would come get the car on Friday. I was home all day waiting to hear from them. Then they told the insurance company that they called and there was no answer and no voicemail, which is absolutely FALSE. I did not have a single missed call, and my voicemail worked fine. Then I left two messages for them and waited on hold for an hour before they disconnected me. NO ONE ANSWERED and no one called back. Horrible business. read more

Today I was returned twice back to the bank to remake a cashier check as a business owner with the dealer lic & tax ID number in the business for over 20 years. NEVER had a problem with payments or the account, but today the owner made a cashier's check from the business account to IAAI and the manager of the IAAI branch refused to accept it. He wanted my name on the cash check instead of the business name on the memo part of the check! I'm not registered as a private party buyer I have a dealer license with a business name as DBA, if the funds come out of the business account, the bank will add the business name to the memo. what are we doing wrong IAAI? This experience was stressful additional $20 spending cashier checks and then additional $20 to the IAAI representative to apply payment. My car was sent here by my insurance company after my accident, employees went through my car helping themselves to whatever personal belongings and coin they found. Pretty much had my car stripped down and ready to sell and I NEVER gave them authorization. This was the worst experience I've had. They wouldn't accept my cashiers check because it said "memo" and it was from a big branch bank, US Bank. The teller was so rude at this location, she literally rolled her eyes at me. How more trashy and ghetto can you get. They need to work on their customer service and at least accept cashiers checks from big banks! It's ridiculous. How can an employee roll their eyes at a paying customer!!! Bought a vehicle from Iaa Los angeles, Vermont ave, Gardena location. Juan Varela is the manager, Vehicle was sent to my location, not the vehicle I purchased, completely different vin number. Iaa purchased the vehilce back from me knowing it was their mistake, but Iaa manager made me pay the tow fees back and would not refund the tow fee, I'm out $225 in tow bills. I bought one car from this company they said it runs and drives but it didn't even start it cost me a lot of money to have the car fixed and ready to run and drive. A month l8r I bought another car and the same thing they didn't say the car had a bad transmission it did not run and drive according to them run and drives means it moves 1 foot in each direction. That's bullshit and shouldn't be considered "drivable" or at least mention the issues cars have even if they run and drive. I took the car back and made them aware and they charged me about $300 to restock and resell even though they said I still own the car but they're reselling it for me. That's the best they could do so ok but it was a total loss paying for tow trucks and diagnostics. I don't recommend this auction. I recommend AAA auctions. read more

My car was towed here after I was in a car accident. Per my car insurance this was the designated place to have my car inspected. After a couple weeks I receive the news that my car was totaled. I came in to IAA to pick up my belongings from my car. My car was wiped clean. All my belongings were placed in plastic trash bags. When I opened my trunk all my belongings were GONE! They took some Nike shoes, a gold bracelet, glasses, suitcase and more. All the items that were left in my car were placed in trash bags. After noticing that my belongings were gone I asked the receptionist if there was another designated area to find them. Per Receptionist, I have to contact my adjuster and have my adjuster contact the manager. I have tried to get in contact with the manager myself and so has my insurance. Our calls get disconnected or we get hung up on. Avoid having services and/or business here. They took more than $1,000 worth of belongings. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS ! read more

Very happy with the customer service at this location! All the ladies in the front office were friendly, and helpful. Imagine the DMV... but the complete opposite! I was directly to go to Lot 3 and hand a pick up slip to a worker there. The worker told me the wait would be a few hours! After maybe half an hour, she comes out to me handed back my paper and says I can just go directly to the back since I was picking up a motorcycle. She was apologetic and was very helpful in directing me where to go. At the back, I was helped by a working manning a forklift. Waited a while for him to load other bikes onto trailers and trucks. He was patient and repositioned one of the bikes to how the pick-up driver wanted. Then he helped me push my bike up the ramp into the truck. Overall, very good service from the entire facility! Only one bad apple in the bunch. While waiting to get help loading the motorcycle, another worker was filling my motorcycle with gas. It looked as though he was going to ride it. Luckily, I got to load it up before he tried anything. He went on to fill another bike. Keep in mind that all these are salvaged vehicles. My bike crashed and had a hole in the engine case, and was leaking oil. read more

They broke my glove department by shoving trash in it and I'm guessing the workers eat there lunch in the Cars because there was jack in the box trash thrown in my trunk!!!
