I came here to buy a Mercedes in good shape but was a little skeptical at first when I saw the reviews. It was a third party website that lead me here but after seeing the Mercedes I knew I had to have it because the same model was being bought up everywhere we went. It had a few problems with the radio and the back windows so he gave us more than 1000$ discount! When we picked up the car though it was really dirty because his staff called in sick today, so he got out there and washed our car from bumper to bumper himself and took the time to do it well! I visited this dealership on a business / pleasure trip to LA. Met with Steven and had a good conversation. He seemed honest about the car and the dealership. Said he would call about the offer I made. Didn't hear anything. I followed up via email and still didn't hear anything. They say things happen for a reason. Lemon Alert!!!! Had a pretty smooth time with initial visit and finance setup with my 2011 Mini Cooper. Left feeling pretty positive about the dealership in Feb 2015. Fast forward 2 months later April 2015 started hearing rattle in car. Take it to mini dealership to get checked out. 2,000 timing chain issue. Unfortunately it broke and I had to pay the 2k. Try to contact show case motors to see if the would assist in the costs. Never got a call back. Very disappointed. "WATCH OUT" THIS IS A BAD DEALERSHIP I WISH I COULD PUT NEGATIVE STARS! IF YOU DO get a car TAKE it to DEALERSHIP IMMEDIATELY for DIAGNOSTIC TESTS!.....THIS is tuesday oct. 11 2016 and we bought a bmw 535i 2008 on WEDNESDAY, yet we still dont have a car to get to work ,we are asking for rides and taking half days at work losing hours to come in and get answers because when you call they dodge you with false promises. my story is currently going. i bought the 08 535i bmw, it was in nice condition just a some what tear on drivers seat and scratch by the passenger headlight, and 2 of the 12v aux outlets didnt work,. we bought the car wednesday and once i drove home just 6 miles away , the service light turned on, smoke under the hood because the engine became hot and now saw oil burning because the cam gasket was leaking, car made the typical bmw rattle of bad turbos or wastegate, it ran too rich , the car had bad idle. i immediately took it back under 20 hours the car needed major service, i took it back and told him about these symptoms, he scanned the bmw , looked under the hood and the hood wouldnt stay up haha, so he ordered new hood shocks, and a new coil, and gasket for the oil leak. he later installed it and check engine light was still on . he wouldnt let me see him work on the car. then on the bmw scanner he deleted the service codes, (which is temporary , so you can drive off with no service light but after a couple minutes driving it all turns back on). he said its no big deal car should be fine, i drove off and the car ran rough and the same at idle and engine had a rattle and ticking. i took it straight to a certified 25 years plus bmw porsche benz mechanic that i trust for years with my bmwS and porsches. HE ran a diagnostics and wrote up everything wrong, the car has a intercooler leak, and cam oil leak , the rattle meant the symptoms of bad turbos, needed new spark plugs, new injectors, and that was him just looking at the car , we he ran diagnostics he was right , they deleted the codes and he scanned it and the computer gave out these codes, like low boost pressure failure for turbos, misfires on couple CYCLENDERS, couple electrical codes, etc. he wrote it up , i took the car back with proof from a certified bmw mechanic shop of the problems pre existing on the car , by then we didnt want the car ,(and this all still happening within 24hrs of driving off the lot), when he saw the work order , he looked disappointed and haggled with me that my mechanic is wrong , that i should have gone to his friends shop lol. BUT by law he has the right to fix it , so i left the car to get fixed. we call and get dodged around with their unsure answers! we have to get off work early to go to the dealership to talk to the guy!!!! about 2-3x not including calls. they all act like they dont know anything, they just say its getting worked on we will call you. i was like wow not even a date when to pick up the car i bought last week!!!!! i put 3000 down , yet i have no car , they basically thought i was unexepericed buyer and i caught him, he knows to messed up bad yet he wont cancel the contract!!!!! until his guy fixes it! ....they might have fixed parts but i know a bad turbo when i hear one....so today OCT. 11 2016 , at a unknown time they said the car will be ready , so we have to take more days off work to come talk and pick up the car! and still unsure if the car is ok. i told him im going straight to bmw dealer to run a completely unquestionably diagnostics, and if something wrong, i said i will take legal action.....its a shady dealership where they act nice ,show you nice cars , yet they dont tell you the warrant doesnt cover the important parts on the car ! and sell you a nice car but needs 7k in work done after you DRIVE off and make it final.....its not final! I hope I catch frauds like this. this REVIEW is not over it just started! do not go here!JUST HUSTLERS WITH A FRIENDLY ATTITUDE THATS FAKE,SHARKS! read more

Avoid at all costs! I bought a car from them on-line after asking specific questions about the mechanical and safety systems, I was assured all were 'checked and functioning'. Several of the mechanical systems did not work, and parts were actually missing from the headlamps, AC system. After arguing that 'everything worked when it left', they agreed to reimburse me for the parts when I sent them pictures of the missing headlight proving them wrong....never received payment despite sending them receipts for the missing parts. Been over 100 days now and I have not received any DMV paperwork or my license plates, which they assured me they would have in hand and send me within 4 to 6 weeks. E-mails have all been ignored and the have not returned any of my phone calls. Hard to believe that someone could give used car salesmen a worse reputation, but Showcase managed to do just that! read more

Don't bother with Showcase Motors. I saw a 1993 corvette that looked great in the pictures. Called about it asking all the questions, how does is run? what shape is it in? etc I was told it ran great and was in good shape considering the year. I told them I would like to know as much as possible because I would be driving 2 hrs to get there. I knew the car had been there almost 250 days which was a red flag to me but Kevin said not everyone is looking for a corvette. So I was hoping for the best. After talking to them a couple times I told them I was planning to come up on Sunday. They said call the day before to make sure it wasn't sold, so I did and said I would appreciate it if they had it ready for a test drive and he said sure we will have it all ready for you. I got there, the car was not ready, it was not even been wiped down, they had to start it with a battery charger. The exterior was not in good shape in my estimation. The car had scratches which I could have overlooked or could have been fixed a bit. When the car started the engine wined and made various noises another big red flag! I did drive it since it took 2 hrs to get there. The automatic transmission was very rough and had difficulty shifting and lurched when it did shift. This car was definitely not in good shape at all. I wasn't sure it would actually make it home! They were asking over the excellent blue book price, so I really expected better. This car was not well taken care of somewhere down the line. We have a 1988 corvette at home that was in much better shape than this one! It really was a waste of a drive. I asked about another car on the lot since I was there. It didn't start either! So that was the end for me. As far as customer service goes, it's a big fat zero. They knew I was coming for few days before so no reason for them to not have it ready. They weren't honestly answering my questions. I was sadly disappointed with this experience. I will surely not be back! read more

The man that helped me seemed friendly, though they do not know much about what they are selling, I believe that their intentions are good, but they just do not inspect there vehicles properly, on the Car I bought I was assured everything was in great condition, they had checked out everything, so I did my own inspection and found a few problems I actually brought up to them they test drove n said it was fine when I knew it was not, however the Vehicle they had there was extremely rare, which they also did not know, they didn't even know all the features the Car had, I had brought a few of them to their attention and they said wow I didn't know it had that, so I stopped showing them as I would not want them to increase the price if they had found out, so with that in mind and knowing I can fix the problems myself I purchased the Vehicle, and I am extremely happy to add it to my collection, it was extremely hard to find and I could not pass it up. So in my opinion this place is Ok but they need to pay more attention to detail, in my case it worked out to my advantage. However to others that may not know how to work on cars please do an inspection you would not want to buy a vehicle with a serious flaw that they most likely over looked. All in all they have beautiful cars on the lot at great prices, the customer service is ok they just need to be more organized, and the biggest flaw of all is their attention to detail, I believe if they actually were able to find and repair the problems they could eventually become a very reputable dealer in So Cal. I don't usually leave comments or ratings as I have an infant to look and take care of. To cut the story short, we purchased a vehicle here 60 days ago, and the temp license will expire tomorrow, Aug 13th. We go back and forth to Las Vegas and we still didn't receive the registration and license plate. It is very disappointing that this makes me leave them 2 stars and lucky I still gave them 2 stars. The transaction and vehicle purchased was smooth but it sucks because now we have to park the vehicle at the garage until we get the registration and license plate in our hands. I don't know what kind of dmv service they said they are using but they definitely not recommendable as in this case, it is very late. I have tons of family that lives in Cali and even my own family never had a hard time receiving their registration and license plate every after vehicle purchased at diff dealership. So I don't know or not exactly sure why this is taking so long. All they kept telling me is, it will be there before the temp license will expire and even gave me dates but it the plates never came. How frustrating is that. I do not want to get pulled over due to expire temp license plate so now we have 1 car to use and park this vehicle until we get the freaking license plates.
