Very impressed with the level of service and care they took, even after the deal was done. Pasha delivered my car 90 minutes from their dealership and upon inspection there was a few issues that weren't immediately apparent. I told Pasha I'd still purchase as long as they took care of those specific small issues with the vehicle (all cosmetic, nothing mechanical) Pasha and I shook on it and I wouldn't recommend doing that with any other dealer besides them, as they held up their word, rare these days! They made sure all the issues were taken care of + others that were discovered through my first few days with the car. Extremely satisfied customer and will definitely be back in a couple years when it comes time to upgrade. Come here if you want an experience which is antithetical to most dealers. 10/10. Thanks to the whole team.

HER Honda lease is also coming to an end, so she was considering getting a new vehicle from Scott Honda at the same time. Unfortunately, the experience was very uncomfortable. We felt pressured to make a purchase, and the attitude from some of the staff changed noticeably when we did not agree with the numbers and pricing they presented to us. The situation became even more disappointing when the finance manager made sarcastic remarks towards her . The salesperson also expressed frustration and said that they had spent several hours with us "for nothing." I understand that buying a car takes time, and I respect the salesperson's time. However, customers also have the right to ask questions, compare numbers, and take their time before making a major financial decision. Not agreeing to a price does not mean that a customer is wasting anyone's time. In my opinion, good customer service should be about helping customers make an informed decision, not making them feel pressured or uncomfortable because they choose not to accept the deal. She has been a Honda customer for many years and has purchased multiple Honda vehicles in the past, including two from Honda of Gardena and two from Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Cerritos. You can verify her purchase history. After this experience, I don't believe I will be returning to Scott Honda Hawthorne or recommending this dealership to others. It was disappointing to be treated this way after she was recommending it to me as a loyal Honda customer for so many years.

The way the sales people have ignored me every time I am here getting my car serviced makes me…read morethink I look like a vagrant, and I'm okay with that. I purchased my car in 2018 and have brought it here for service ever since. But the last 3-4 visits, I do the same thing, sit in the lobby for about an hour then walk around the lot looking at cars. I've been think about getting a new car for a while, but I haven't had a car note in years, so I'm reluctant. Not to mention, I rarely drive, so rare that I was thinking of just selling the car, then had to have someone bring me back to logic. Let me just say this, this review is in no way about the service dept. If I had an other issues I would go to Carson or Manhattan Beach, but I come here. Today's visit really annoyed me, I'm stilling in the lobby reading my book and a salesman named Anthony comes in and begins to speak about the 4th of July sale. I listen, because I can really be easily convinced to get a new car, but I notice that despite him having my full attention and us only being within feet of each other, he is not talking to me. He confirmed it, when he begin asking everyone in the room, individually, if they were interested in taking a look at the numbers on trading in a vehicle for a new one without any commitment. He didn't ask me or the guy behind him who could easily be confused as being asleep. I didn't speak up, because I could just as easily be swayed by characteristics to keep my money. What I did do was get up and walk the lot, like I normally do when I am here and I peaked at a few cars, while also speaking with my husband, because I needed someone who was going to tell me if I was over thinking the whole situation. Can you guess what happened next, as walked around circling the cars and taking an extra second to stare at the sticker... Nothing! No one approached me and asked if they can help. No one came out of the sales office, after watching me from the large glass windows I was looking at vehicles in front of. Nothing! So I walked back to the lobby to wait for my car and write this review. But then, I started wondering why I was even giving 3 stars and my husband called me back to ask if I saw anything I liked. I told him I didn't but they probably had the car on the used car side. So I got up and walked around the used car lot side and I did see two or three vehicles that I was interested in. These I took a few extra seconds to look at because I wanted to see the price, the year, the details, the warranty information. But again, no one came out. No one came to help me to ask if I was interested in anything or to see if I needed assistance. The only time I spoke to an employee at South Bay Toyota was each time I walked back to the service center where they offered me shuttle services or wanted to see if there's anything that they could assist me with. So I am giving three stars because I could easily walk to service department and ask them to get me a sales agent and I'm sure that person who comes to me would be all too enthusiastic about showing me what's available. It has happened before and that's why I know exactly what vehicle I want next.

I've always driven German cars (Audi & Volkswagen in the past) but really liked the cars I was shown at South Bay BMW. I connected with Joseph Martinez and gave him a (long) list of what I was interested in, my budget, and a couple cars I had researched beforehand. he also shared his own car experiences, his personal experiences with BMWs in terms of safety and family, and showed me a CPO M340i they had on the lot that I immediately fell in love with (my fiancee, not so much). He was professional, helpful, and really genuine throughout our (multiple) interactions and worked tirelessly with me to see if we could make it work (unfortunately, we couldn't). However, we did eventually land on a car that fit my needs (and made my fiancee happy) and checked all of my desired boxes: a 2026 BMW 330i with all the upgrades and customizations I wanted. After owning it for a month, I absolutely love the car and will take any excuse to drive it (I only long for that B58 engine on the M340 on occasion now). I cannot recommend Joseph highly enough and will absolutely be returning when I'm in the market for another vehicle (perhaps an M3 CS next time)....

From my very first internet inquiry, Adrian was responsive, professional, and never came across as the typical pushy salesperson. One thing that really stood out was Adrian's communication. He stayed in constant contact, always responded quickly, and kept me informed every step of the way. I live in San Diego and wasn't able to pick up the vehicle for two days because of work. Adrian worked with me to lock in the deal and made sure the dealership held the vehicle until Saturday so I wouldn't miss out. That level of customer service meant a lot. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, Adrian happened to be off that day, but he had already arranged for Stefan to take care of me. Stefan was outstanding as well. He welcomed me, made the process easy, and immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. It was clear that Adrian had communicated everything to him, and the transition was seamless. Engine kills itself due to known and significant Hyundai issue with this model and year, low mileage but whatever things happen, thank you Hyundai corporate (no thanks to dealer) for processing and approving significant engine repair. This eggplant of a dealer has my car for like 4 months with 0 communication I have to call every few weeks to check up. Whatever, I have a second car to use I can wait (no offer of loaner car, very lame). I get my car back and it seems to work. When picking up the car I open the hood to look over with the nice person who was working my case and we pull 2 latex gloves left behind in my engine bay out, nice lad apologizes and I notice they missed replacing a small part, again met with apology and part is replaced. Not my job to pull gloves out of the engine bay or notice unfinished work but ok. Few weeks later my car smells like the plague just hit Europe. For like a week maybe it's my parking garage, maybe I don't shower enough, it's getting worse. I'm no plague doctor but I pop the hood and really start looking around and there is a dead and decomposing girthy rat, pinned down by the hinge of the car hood, quite obviously the hood had been closed on it. Only time my car hood has been opened / last was by the dealer to service my car. The South Bay mechanic team is literally the worst and least competent team around. I don't care about this part but their "complimentary car wash" took off massive parts of paint off of my hood which already started to chip a little, also known defect of my year and model paint issue. Just mentioning in the long list of other things they didn't do or said they would and ignored. I will say when I purchased the car the person I dealt with 9 years ago was nice (typical sales), the staff working the front desk of the service center are also very sweet and kind, the work of the mechanics (arguably most important for a car dealer) either don't care or draw from a mystery bag of handicaps, maybe today we work blindfolded or today we can only throw tools at the car. If you make the mistake of buying a Hyundai, get it serviced by any other shop on this planet, really, throw a dart at a map. Your local soup plantation would put more care into pouring soup into your engine than South Bay cares about your car, and it would probably run better. I'd give more stars as the service front desk team is really nice, but at the end of the day I trust them to work on and fix the car not just be nice. I have to take my car to a second shop to review the work done by South Bay. Kind of a bummer, man.
