Nice fun scratch by their team!

Literally the worst service center I've ever been to. Always had great experiences with Tesla locations in the past. I brought in my car to replace some warranty items, one of them being my rear spoiler, the technician who installed this created scratches all Over my rear panels and lift gate with either a wedding ring or something by mistake. The service center buffed out what they could, but there are still significant scratches on my car. They said they provided an email of a name to follow up with and escalate my concerns and get my car 100% fixed, which was false I have no such email, the service rep, Ali (I hope they read this to you in your annual review) was rude, and laughed in my face when I brought up the issue of the scratches and being upset about their sudden appearance, immediately pushing me off saying there's "no way we could have made those scratches". The shop then proceeded to attempt buffing them out, effectively admitting fault to the incident. This is "all they could offer" Also don't places typically wash your cars exterior before returning your vehicle? The treatment was honestly a shock it was so bad. Some team members tried to make things better and I appreciate the efforts, but by this time the ship had sailed on providing any grace. Will be reaching out to Tesla corporate about this location and their complete lack of accountability. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. You've been warned. And had I read these other unsavory reviews, I could have been saved some

We had a delivery appointment to pick up our car at this Tesla location late afternoon on a Friday. There's no parking on-site, but there's plenty of parking nearby. Check-in is pretty quick as most of the paperwork has already been completed via the Tesla app. We arrived a little over an hour before our scheduled appointment time, but I highly discourage this as your car probably won't be ready until right around your appointment time. They are super busy and it's nonstop queue of customers picking up cars so you shouldn't expect to get your car early. Its probably best to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes max before your appointment time. They do have plenty of Tesla advisors around who can assist you, but you should definitely familiarize yourself with operating your vehicle by watching all the recommended videos before you arrive because again, they're super busy. The whole process was pretty smooth considering how busy it was, but the waiting area was far too warm/hot, and the men's bathroom was broken. Overall the whole experience of buying a Tesla was the smoothest car buying experience I've had to date, but they could definitely work on making the waiting area more comfortable at this particular location. 5 stars for Tesla buying experience overall, but 4 stars for this specific location.

YIKES!! They don't have warranty on the service that they do. I had replaced a rear motor on 1/20/2025 and they charged me for an alignment on my rear wheels. Less than 5 months later, 7/4/2025, my rear wheels blew out & showed extreme wear on the inside treads. Tesla Burbank was like, we're still going to charge you for our negligence. Very disappointed. Too bad they had closed the Tesla Van Nuys dealership and service center. They had a good service center there.

We had an appointment to swap our lease vehicle and the transaction was pretty quick, I'd say less than 30 minutes. They were pretty busy with other customers coming in and picking up their vehicles. Good service and the young employee that helped us with the new vehicle knew all the answers to the questions we asked him.

That's how they fixed the plastic... want properly installed

Picked up my brand-new Tesla to find a misaligned trunk and scratched plastic above a tire. They assured me these were "easy fixes" and had me schedule a service. At the appointment, the manager "Diana" admitted the trunk issue was obvious, but after 3 hours, they claimed it wasn't fixable and did a poor job on the plastic. Why am I paying full price for a car with visible flaws? Tesla's quality control and service have been disappointing, and they need to take responsibility. Picture attached.

This is new brand tesla with new tire , blow-up middle up freeway without any reason.

Two months after purchasing the car, the passenger seat started to creak, and this service billed me $280 to fix this defect.

Incompetent employees that for some reason are constantly blocking the sidewalk. Also terrible vehicles and not worth the money.

I had been tracking used C8 Corvettes prices on multiple car websites for about a year, trying to find that perfect combo of the right sub-model, right trim level, all the options I want, low milage, clean CarFax and a price that was lower than what Kelly Blue Book said I should be paying for it. I found my dream car in a GarGurus ad listing for Community Chevrolet. So I went to the dealership and told the salesman that I would buy the car at their asking price if they agreed to not tack on any "dealer add-ons", like "paint protection", "service package", "anti-theft device", "extended warranty", etc. The Salesman says, "Well, all of our vehicles already come with a paint protection package applied and an added GPS tracking device". So I say, "You know Corvettes have built in GPS tracking in the MyChevy app, right?" And he says, "yeah, we can get all of those fees waived". So I said, "Ok, I'll buy it". Then he comes back with preliminary numbers for downpament, monthly payment, etc and the vehicle sales price he uses is $2,000 higher than what was advertised on Car Gurus and on the Community Chevrolet website. I point this out and he says, "Oh, they must have just lowered the internet price on the car and we didn't know about it at the dealership yet". So he goes and reworks the numbers. A few hours later, after all of the paperwork had been written up, I go to sign the paperwork in the finance manager's office and all of these "dealer add-on" fees are there in the paperwork, totaling around $5,000 higher than the agreed upon price. I tell the finance manager that the salesman said there would be no additional fees. She said the saleman didn't have the authority to waive those fees. So she calls the salesman into her office. He acts dumb, like he never said the fees would be waived. Blah, blah blah, back and forth, wasting more time, more pressure to sign the paperwork. So finally I said, "Sell me the car at the advertised priced, without any tacked on fees, or I won't buy the car." The finance manager left her office for a while, came back and reworked the paperwork. In the end, they did sell me the car at the advertised price, but they also made me waste a few extra hours at the dealership -I was at the dealership for more than 4 hours- and they forced it to become an uncomfortable, aversarial business relationship to make the deal work. It was not a horrible experience, but you have to keep an eye on them, because they will try shady tactics on you, if you let them.

I really appreciate their smooth, no haggle sales process. You get a quote online, you bring the car in (title in hand), and in a few hours, you walk out with your check and they even take care of notifying the DMV for you. Michael was a champ for the most recent transaction. But what really matters is what they do even when it's not transaction related. Turns out, I left my AirPods at the store from a few days ago. But sure enough, they saved it in their lost and found (i mean, TBH, how often does that happen?) Jay even helped write my name on the envelope so I could seamlessly retrieve it when I returned to the store. Thank you, Carmax!

Safety Concerns, Dishonesty & Total Lack of Communication…read more Stars: (1/5) I am beyond disappointed with my experience at CarMax Burbank. I paid extra to have a Porsche 718 shipped from Colorado, expecting a "premium" vehicle that had passed their 125+ point inspection. Instead, I was sold a car with cheap after market brakes, bad rotors, and bad bearings. When I brought the car back because of a loud noise every time I braked, the service department made me feel like I was crazy. They confirmed they heard the noise, but because the brakes "hadn't failed yet," they refused to fix them. The Red Flags & Dishonesty: Hidden Repairs: Their official inspection report only listed an oil change. However, a representative eventually admitted to me that the brakes had been changed with cheap, non-Porsche certified aftermarket parts. * Mechanical Damage: My personal mechanic inspected the car and confirmed these low-quality parts were likely the reason the rotors and bearings were now making noise and failing to function properly. Using "budget" parts on a Porsche not only compromises safety but immediately devalues the vehicle. Safety Risk: My mechanic told me the car needed immediate repairs to be safe. CarMax's standard for "passing inspection" clearly does not meet the manufacturer's safety standards for a high-performance vehicle. The Total Lack of Organization: Lost Car: I dropped the car off on Thursday. By Saturday, no one knew where it was, even though it had been in their possession for two days. Incompetent Communication: After spending 1.5 hours waiting to sign the return paperwork, someone called me on Monday asking me to "pick up the car." No one talks to each other; I had to repeat the same frustrating story to five different people. Rude Service: Aside from Sophia, who was the only pleasant person we dealt with, the staff was dismissive and rude when we raised legitimate safety concerns. I wasted money on shipping and hours of my time. If you are looking for a high-end vehicle, do not trust their "inspections." They are willing to use cheap parts and hide it from the buyer. This was a complete waste of time and money.
