I went to Burbank Tesla dealership on San Fernando Rd. in Burbank. i meet Isaiah who works in sales. Isaiah was kind enough to let me test drive a Model Y last week. After the demo he signed me up so I could take it home Overnight. I fell in love with the Tesla! I'm in my 60s and the new way of purchasing a vehicle is new to me. Isaiah answered all my questions, was responsive to all of my text messages, and helped me locate a vehicle. During my purchase I had many questions and Isaiah was very professional, very responsive to all my needs. If it weren't for Isaiah, I probably wouldn't have purchased a Tesla. There were times that he was extremely busy, but always found the time to respond to me in a timely manner. I highly recommend seeing Isaiah in Burbank if you are interested in purchasing a Tesla!! I feel that if I'm paying top-tier prices to have my car serviced at a dealership, I should receive top-tier service and timely delivery. I've visited three other Tesla locations before Burbank, and this one unfortunately seems to struggle w/ time management. My appointment was on Friday at 1:30pm for a full replacement of all four tires + alignment. I was told they would aim to have it completed by EOD 7pm. Around 6pm, I received a message apologizing that it would not be completed on time and that the car would instead be ready by 10am the next day. Thankfully my schedule allowed for that, but it was still inconvenient. What makes it confusing is that I was initially quoted 5 hours for the tire replacement and alignment, yet it still couldn't be completed by the end of the day. The invoice states the job takes two hours. There were also no loaner vehicles available. They did provide a $100 Uber voucher (grateful for this, thank you). Maybe they were extremely short-staffed yesterday or someone had to leave mid-shift. Either way, the experience makes me hesitant about returning to this location for future service. read more

We had a delivery appointment to pick up our car at this Tesla location late afternoon on a Friday. There's no parking on-site, but there's plenty of parking nearby. Check-in is pretty quick as most of the paperwork has already been completed via the Tesla app. We arrived a little over an hour before our scheduled appointment time, but I highly discourage this as your car probably won't be ready until right around your appointment time. They are super busy and it's nonstop queue of customers picking up cars so you shouldn't expect to get your car early. Its probably best to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes max before your appointment time. They do have plenty of Tesla advisors around who can assist you, but you should definitely familiarize yourself with operating your vehicle by watching all the recommended videos before you arrive because again, they're super busy. The whole process was pretty smooth considering how busy it was, but the waiting area was far too warm/hot, and the men's bathroom was broken. Overall the whole experience of buying a Tesla was the smoothest car buying experience I've had to date, but they could definitely work on making the waiting area more comfortable at this particular location. 5 stars for Tesla buying experience overall, but 4 stars for this specific location. read more

The single worst experience I've had at any Tesla service center (and that bar is pretty low). Despite the many many many issues that this vehicle has constantly had... the people at Tesla have been helpful, and friendly. The SA was friendly enough but the tech guy who was meant to test drive... was one of the rudest, most condescending people I've ever encountered in a professional context. Drove half a block and told me the rattle wasn't there... even though it was. Refused to fix... without paying $280 up front. Even though it's a problem that has persisted - and been fixed - and not fixed - and ultimately made worse by Tesla - denied it's a warranty issue - even though it HAD been a warranty issue at a prior Service Center.... I only ended up at this place because it was closer. He said that he would be calling the other service center to make sure if I went there that they would not fix the warranty issue under warranty - because he seemed like such a helpful, cheerful guy. My prior service had damaged the interior pillar too (sorry don't have parts)... so despite the issues / this lovely tech denied it, was rude about, denied the fact that I had been in 4 prior times and had it worked in... and basically told me to kick rocks and that he would go out of his way to make sure I would not get it fixed, without paying upfront. I drove off with the car rattling worse than ever with a damaged pillar... that wasn't there before. Seriously,,: worse experience ever. Avoid at all costs. read more

Literally the worst service center I've ever been to. Always had great experiences with Tesla locations in the past. I brought in my car to replace some warranty items, one of them being my rear spoiler, the technician who installed this created scratches all Over my rear panels and lift gate with either a wedding ring or something by mistake. The service center buffed out what they could, but there are still significant scratches on my car. They said they provided an email of a name to follow up with and escalate my concerns and get my car 100% fixed, which was false I have no such email, the service rep, Ali (I hope they read this to you in your annual review) was rude, and laughed in my face when I brought up the issue of the scratches and being upset about their sudden appearance, immediately pushing me off saying there's "no way we could have made those scratches". The shop then proceeded to attempt buffing them out, effectively admitting fault to the incident. This is "all they could offer" Also don't places typically wash your cars exterior before returning your vehicle? The treatment was honestly a shock it was so bad. Some team members tried to make things better and I appreciate the efforts, but by this time the ship had sailed on providing any grace. Will be reaching out to Tesla corporate about this location and their complete lack of accountability. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. You've been warned. I have to say that my experience with this specific service center has been great. Prior to Burbank, my experience with Tesla service was not consistent and I was given the run around many time when going to Van Nuys. Often times, appointments were cancelled and the issues I had with my vehicle were never sorted out. I dealt with Celin at the Burbank service center and right away she was on top of things, making sure I got a loaner vehicle, and that the issues with my car were taken seriously and addressed. She has even been able to help me elevate other issues and stayed on top of things, which is much appreciated. Although Van Nuys was more convenient for me, I'm glad that I went to the Burbank service center, because that changed my Tesla service experience. Thank you. read more

Two months after purchasing the car, the passenger seat started to creak, and this service billed me $280 to fix this defect.

As I sat waiting for a one hour service to be completed , I noticed a commonality between the Tesla service agents and customers. Rudeness and indifference from the Tesla employees And, "may I speak to a manager " from customers. In my case, my two repair items needed to be addressed and I was there with a scheduled appointment after my car had been evaluated two weeks prior and the needed parts had been received. Having owned and been extremely pleased with my "S " for over 8 years, this was the first time I needed a repair and it was minor. I thought it odd that the scheduling app asked for payment ($250.00) in advance of the repair date and I decided to sort this out at the dealership. When I checked in I was asked to pay the $250 repair charge before the service began. ODD? I asked if I could use Apple Pay and was told they don't accept Apple pay. So I paid the old fashion way with a physical card. The repairs were completed and off I went. I while driving home, one of the two repair items was still not working, so I returned to the dealership. I asked if the car had been test driven before it was returned. It it had not. I spoke with a different agent and he talked to the repair shop. He returned, told me about three hours of additional repair work was needed along with $2,700. Wow. It's a Long story, but I was told initially ( at the evaluation two weeks prior) that " when thing 1 is replaced, thing 2 would automatically work "" because thing 2 is dependent on thing 1 being replaced. What could I do? after seeing how others were treated I decided to approve the repairs, go home and wait until the car was fixed. Several hours later it was my turn to be treated rudely and indifferent. A Female named Diane called, told me the repair was reduced to $,1100. They had not test driven the car and she was unclear about the repair completion . She said they would test drive the car and call me for pickup. Diane spoke really fast, would not let me speak, insisted I return the loaner asap ( even though she was unclear about the repair). Diane never called me. Just before the dealership closed for the day, I received an e-mail requesting payment along with an invoice. I payed the invoice using APPLE PAY, even though I was told earlier in the day, the dealership did not accept this form of payment. It is important to note; no one including my self, I invests $100,000 on a vehicle to save a few nickels on repair costs. This is about service and customer respect. Mr. ElonMusk's office will be at the Big White Building on Pennsylvania Avenue in the District of Columbia shortly. I am hopeful he will be interested in knowing one of his dealerships is fully staffed with irritable, rude and indifferent employees that are doing damage to his brand. A brand he built with with an exceptional product and word of mouth advertising from ecstatic customers. I also hope he will be concerned about his employees in Burbank, working diligently to destroy his brand daily, one customer at a time. Except for a young man named Aldi or Ali (not sure). He was very kind and knowledgeable. I will be among the first to welcome, congratulate and thank Mr. Musk on his DJT appointment and for for the genius vehicle parked in my garage nightly. I've had a refreshed Model 3 all of 6 days now. So far, the car itself has been great. Although my hazard light started blinking on their own and would not stop. The people in the show rooms have been fine. However, forget about ever getting anyone from Tesla on the phone, ever. I called for days after I bought my car with questions about the delivery. I called 3 different dealerships, the one where I test drove the cars, the one where the guy I dealt with normally worked, and the dealership where I actually picked the car up from. I got one text back 24 hour later. Then, after my loan was approved, I got a letter company Tesla used for financing. It said my approved loan was no longer approved! Instead, it said I needed to put down more than $8,000 additional dollars and to call Tesla. Like I said, Tesla is 100% worthless over the phone. But, I tried anyway. Total waste of time So, I tried calling the finance company. They wasted hours of my time between 3 different departments before they simple told me they could do nothing, call Tesla. Right. So I drove back to the dealership. I learned Tesla had assigned me to another financial institution without telling me. But, at least they didn't mess with the interest of my loan or ask for more money. I should say here that while I was waiting at the dealership, I got to talk to other Tesla owners. We agreed 1000% that Tesla customer service is complete garbage. We never get any response back by phone, using the app is some help but it never solved any problem we had. In person in the showroom the people are all right. But honestly, I'm treated better at McDonalds. When I bought my Acura, there were free drinks and things to eat. I felt like a valued customer spending thousands of dollars. At Tesla, it's like if you can't solve it with the app, get lost, we definitely don't want to hear from you. I dread dealing with my first repair here. I'm definitely not selling my Acura, which still runs great. Honestly, the worst customer service by a thousand light years of an any company I've ever dealt with. Car is great, and like I said the show room people are fine. YIKES!! They don't have warranty on the service that they do. I had replaced a rear motor on 1/20/2025 and they charged me for an alignment on my rear wheels. Less than 5 months later, 7/4/2025, my rear wheels blew out & showed extreme wear on the inside treads. Tesla Burbank was like, we're still going to charge you for our negligence. Very disappointed. Picked up my brand-new Tesla to find a misaligned trunk and scratched plastic above a tire. They assured me these were "easy fixes" and had me schedule a service. At the appointment, the manager "Diana" admitted the trunk issue was obvious, but after 3 hours, they claimed it wasn't fixable and did a poor job on the plastic. I strongly advise against purchasing a Tesla or taking it to their Burbank location for service. I bought my Cyber Truck about a year ago and waited four long years for it to be fully loaded. I paid $140,000 for it. Just three months after purchasing the car, its value dropped 40%, About a month ago, I received a message informing me that my light bar was available for installation. I scheduled an appointment first rime day before appointment they rescheduled my appointment since they didn't have the part second appointment ,When I dropped off the car yesterday for the installation, they gave me a second appointment. They claimed that everything was available, but they kept the car all day without doing any work. I have been visiting Burbank Center since 2021 for both of mine M3s and MY. This is the original center Tesla has opened in LA. I had mostly positive experience with techs and managers. Compared to other centers in LA, this center has by far most experienced techs and reasonable managers. 90% of the time I got loaners and my issues were addressed within same day of two days max. Some of my issues were advanced and complicated to resolve. Nevertheless they were always addressed. Many owners don't realize that at least 50% of issues come from firmware bugs and service center are not there to resolve them. They can report a ticket, but owners have to be patient until a software bug is resolved. Also, many owners don't understand warranty coverage on Teslas vehicles. Please before demanding a replacement or a repair, familiarize yourself with what warranty covers. Of course Tesla offers great warranty and almost maintenance free experience. But warranty doesn't cover 100% of parts. As far as mechanical/electrical exterior and interior concerns, this center is the most experienced and skillful. read more

Every time I bring my car in for the same problem, they offer vague reasons like 'the tint might be causing the window pinch' or 'the door misalignment is by design.' I went here for a test drive and it was great. However, this Tesla was INCREDIBLY busy and the staff were so busy. I wanted to test drive the Model X but they were so busy that they didn't even have one for test drive! The parking lot was pretty tight so I recommend parking on the street if you find a spot. The test drive went super well and I think it's a super neat way to try out a car before you actually make the investment and buy it. Overall, a pretty good experience but I was a little sad they didn't have the model I wanted :( read more

Had an appointment with a rep (we have been texting back n forth), to make a long story short, I purchased via app I was told to download (reps don't get commission but salary),he told me if I purchased with his referral code then I would get a discount...then my sister who purchased a Tesla at another location months before me gave me her referral code so I used hers. She didn't get the credit!? I called him and he said too late, I already paid the $250 reserve fee. I would lose it if I did it again. I took it to get his referral. Ok fine. But then I had some question, he does not answer me at all like he did and he disappears from the face of the earth! I guess he figured he made the sale and got his referral credit!? Then 5 months later, I referral a friend to do a demo drive with my referral link. He uses it but I don't get credit. He told me he used my link but when he came in he had to register all over again. I'm getting funny feelings that these Tesla reps are taking the credit for the referral. I don't think Tesla employees should get the referral points like state Lotto employees are not allowed to play Lotto. Lots of fishy things going on this location site. Don't like it. read more

I was routed to this location from an advisor at Tesla Upland after waiting to take delivery of an "in-transit" inventory vehicle with no ETA for arrival. My vehicle was inexplicably sitting in the lot at Tesla Burbank with no update or plans to move. Upon being transferred to Burbank, I was immediately contacted to schedule my delivery. After reading the reviews here, I was a bit nervous as I was expecting a train wreck of a delivery experience. On delivery day, I arrived early and found street parking (there's no on-site parking at this location) close by. I was greeted and checked in prior to my scheduled appointment. While I waited, 3 advisors washed and detailed my vehicle. About 20 min later, I was greeted by Tasnuva, who graciously walked me through every aspect of the vehicle. I did find an issue, but was able to immediately schedule for it to be fixed via Tesla Mobile Service at home. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Everyone who helped me was friendly and efficient. Also, on the date of my mobile service, my issue was fixed in under 5 minutes! It was free and the technician was nice and friendly! read more

Staff is incompetent. They had me come 3 times for a vibrating mirror issue. To diagnose, to order the part and to have the service. Then I went home the third time and they said they couldn't reproduce the issue because they can't go highway speeds and wouldn't replace the part . Diana, one of the station manager is rude. Ignored my messages and put me on hold for 45minutes. I wish I could just say it was one rep or one service location but all around LA service is garbage. Santa Monica service and Marina Del Rey delivery centers are a joke. I don't think I could hire this many disgruntled employees if I tried.
