Terrible service. Tried to scam us into paying $1000 "belts and hoses" when the car is a 2021 model. It's not even old and we've never heard of a car so young needing those things. We're waiting a week now for a faulty engine to be replaced. We have been calling every day and get the same response "we'll get back to you today", but they haven't and never do. Avoid this place. ***Update: Going on almost a month now, when the main problem was a faulty engine. First they tried to say they'd give us a rental at $45 a day and then reimburse. Can't afford that, and can't afford Ubers. Both my partner and I need to make it to our jobs. I had to go through hoops for them to finally agree to give us a loaner. They could have done that in the first place. This place continues to disappoint and fail. Got a message today from the guy "working" on our car and he said "your car will be ready at the end of the month as "planned". There was never any "plan" or communication. I had an 11:00 AM appointment for a basic service and dropped off my car with Greg. I returned at 1:00 PM expecting it to be ready, only to find out that my car hadn't even been touched. I was told Greg had a medical emergency and my file was passed to someone else. I was then asked to wait another hour, but the entire process ended up dragging on for 4 full hours for a simple service. While I completely understand that medical emergencies are unforeseen, the lack of communication and internal handoff here was terrible. If an advisor has to leave, management should reassign active tickets immediately instead of letting a customer's vehicle sit untouched for two hours without any update. What they found was the oil pan had been leaking and had been previously attempted to be sealed and repaired. Bottom line cost me $1,100 at dealership to repair. I'm writing this out of my own used car experience with dealer and their poor inspection of vehicle to be selling as certified. Dishonest and fraudulent Service Department. I took my car in for an oil change and routine maintenance. The Service Tech called me about an hour later with an urgent message, telling me that my brakes were in dangerous condition. He even sent a video of his mechanic with my tires off explaining how the brakes were at 10% and it would be extremely dangerous if I didn't change them. On top of that, he said there was damage to my rotors because of the condition of the brakes. My car was 2 years old with about 30K miles of mainly freeway driving. I told them I was skeptical but the tech told me that it wasn't uncommon and said they could even give me a discount if I got the work done today (all new brakes and all new rotors). I knew that this wasn't right so I declined. I took my car to 2 other brake shops. Both of them told me I had over 60% wear left on my brakes and of course there wasn't any damage to the rotors (how could there be with so much brake left). Purchasing a car here was ok, but that's not what this review is about. This review is about their service department. It's easy to make an appointment and someone picks up the phone, but they really need to better staff their service department. I made an appointment to drop off my car at 10am on a Sunday, and I had to wait in a long line to drop off my car. They took about 15 minutes per person per car to check in, so I had to wait about 45 minutes to even do the drop-off since there were 3 cars in front of me. Then, they told me to come back at 1:30 since they close at 2. I came back at 1:30 and I was told to wait until my name was called in the lobby. I waited but then asked them to check if my car was ready after about 15 minutes since I had to leave for another appointment I had. The service guy (who was super nice) went to check and came back, apologetic, saying he was sorry but they hadn't even gotten to my car yet. (!!!!!!!) he asked me to wait about 20 minutes (past closing btw) while they worked on the car. I'll echo another reviewer here, which is that they shouldn't make so many appointments if they can't service them in time. Or, at least they need to give a better time estimate and make sure things are done as scheduled. I don't think it's the fault of any of the employees here, as I saw them all running around and constantly busy. This is definitely a management/upper-staff issue, and it goes to show how poor the management is here. Kia Car Pros should definitely work on their management and staff the service department better. Stark contrast to when I had a Lexus...their service department always ran smoothly and on time, and I never had a problem. read more

Alert! Stay far far away from the service center here. Twice I've taken my 1 year old Sportage there because the screen was malfunctioning and noises were coming from the trunk. Both issues were chalked up to "oh we don't hear any noises coming from the trunk" and the other "we don't know what do about the glitching on the screen." All the issues seemed like things most mechanics should be able to troubleshoot. The team there seems nice and well mannered, but don't let that deceive you. They talk a big game that they are the best Kia center in all of LA. I don't believe that for a second after my poor experience with them. All that is to say, I looked at YouTube to trouble both the rattle noise and the screen glitch and found solutions to fix them on my own. It's so sad to see companies like this dismiss customers and have mechanics just going through the motions to do oil changes as fast as they can to get the next car. Just bought a certified pre-owned 2024 Kia Niro. If you've ever had to replace a key fob, you know it's $$$, so when we went to drive our car home, and our salesman, (Michael) told us there was only one key. We were not happy. Earlier, we had overheard another couple there complaining about getting only one key. After leaving less than stellar feedback on Kia's site, Sam contacted us the next day and said, to come to the Service Dept. and they'll give us a new fob. If you are buying a used car, confirm with your salesperson that there are 2 working keys ahead of your purchase. They also give you a long checklist of everything they've supposedly inspected, one of which is the cabin filter. I just replaced it because the car smelled like cigarettes and it was very dirty (see photo). Maybe they inspected it but sure didn't change it. Bottom line, it's a car dealership, so expect shenanigans. At least they respond to customer feedback. read more

0 Star - Shockingly Bad Treatment at Car Pros Kia Glendale My wife called ahead to make sure she could stop by on her lunch break to test-drive a Sorento. They told her it was no problem and to come in. She got there, was seated, and then sat ignored for 30 minutes. Salespeople walked right past her. The sales manager was sitting only a few feet away and still never acknowledged her. Not a hello, not a "we'll be right with you"--nothing. When someone finally decided to speak to her, she explained she just wanted to test-drive the car and that a third-party broker was handling the deal for her. That's it. No negotiating. No hassle. Just a test drive so she could compare it to other models. Instead of helping, they brought out their in-house broker--who immediately got loud, yelled aggressively, and started pressuring her for broker information she didn't owe him. He talked to her like she was doing something wrong by not using him, and the whole exchange came off as pushy and hostile. And the sales manager, who watched her sit there for half an hour, stood by watching that too, doing nothing. My wife actually had to call the manager out directly and ask if this was really how they do business. Only then did he bother to intervene and allow the test drive. She still drove the car, but only after being treated rudely, ignored, and pressured for no reason. If this is how they treat women who come in alone, people should know. No one deserves that kind of behavior at a dealership. We won't ever return to Car Pros Kia Glendale, and I hope management takes a serious look at how their staff is behaving.
