Our ice maker line in the wall sprung a leak Tersuli was on site quickly the Scott and Matt accessed the issue found the leak and had a plumber out that day to fix the leaking pipe. Josh dealt with our adjuster to make sure everything that could be covered my the insurance company was included. Horrible experience! Poor quality of work, lots of finishes left incomplete. Horrible communication with the owner, and lots of work completed not up to your expectations. Almost no communication after they receive payment. It is a stressful. When you are trying to rebuild the house after a fire, these guys did not make the process any easier. We had a basement leak (frost-proof hosebibs are only so frost-proof it turns out!) and while there were some bumps in the road to get moving on the restoration, Scott was a delight! He showed up promptly when he said he would. Was very careful and clean within his work area, and came back to paint another coat on the walls without hesitation when I realized that the coverage wasn't great with only one coat. He was very easy to work with and made me feel confident in the project getting done without too much trouble. The basement is looking great again! read more

Was recommended by our insurance company for repairs to our home after flooding. After waiting over a month with absolutely zero progress other than random visits to the house, lots of very unprofessional, downright rude emails, phone calls, flat out lies about work they had done / were going to do, and in general a complete lack of communication about the progress of things, we had to sever ties with working with them. Really seemed to be just trying to scam our insurance company out of more money than was on the initial estimate, and was delaying putting our home back together to prove their own seemingly personal points. Really bad customer service, and understanding of their customers in need. As a previous reviewer stated "bullying" really seems to be their mode of operation for conducting business. read more

I was referred to Tersuli by Service master who cleaned up an unfortunate water disaster at my home. I called and was put through to Josh who was nice said he would get over to my home on Wed or Thurs of last week and get a bid to us. I alos asked about there schedule as I did not want to wait 3 months for work to begin. Yesterday I called to check in on the bid and if he had seen our home and he was rude said he left me a voice mail and was not interested. We had a fire and they came in offering all sort of promises and did not deliver. The contractor we had was great but the owner and Josh we awful to work with! We will never recommend these guys to anyone else! Picked the worst quality paint and when we clean the walls the paint comes off with it! The owner stated he would fix our sky light for Free if we hired his company just to make it right and then retracted and he said he only meant the flashing which is not what we agreed upon. They also offered to help with our foundation and did not. Only fixed a couple of things underneath. Some of our hardwoods are bouncing so to speak. They dont lay flush on the sub floors. In the master bath they reversed the hot and cold so its opposite. The towel rack in the master bath was not installed correctly so the bars constantly fall out to the point of having to take it down and reinstall ourselves. Complained about money constantly when we were waiting on the insurance company to pay. Just stay away from this contractor!! Not worth the hassle!! read more

We had some water damage to out wood floor. Our insurance company had a general adjuster come to our home and he recommended Tersuli Construction. We have been very unhappy during the whole construction process. The company was extremely poor about responding to our e-mails requesting information. Frequently it took 2-3 emails to get a response and then it tended to be a rude response indicating we need to be more patient. They would promise to contact us by a certain day and then they would not and we would have to contact them. Delays after delays and excuses after excuses. After the work was completed I received an email for our bill. I neglected to get to it for a week and then received a threatening e-mail about payment. When you call the general number you don't even get to talk to a live human being. You have to leave a message and then they promise someone will get back to you. NOT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! read more

We had a fire & asbestos in our house that required the entire interior to be gutted down to studs. Our insurance company recommended Tersuli Construction as they had worked with them before. While it is normal for a GC to sub the component projects out, Tersuli lacks a system of oversight; basically there was no one making sure that the subs did as expected and bits of the project would get lost in the shuffle. For example, no one verified that the exhaust duct for the laundry space was in place until I pointed it out and the cabinet guys ordered/installed the wrong type, which Tersuli was not aware of. Although I generally don't have a complaint about the quality of workmanship after seeing what the guys on site were subject to (I repeatedly overheard the laborers being directed to work on 3-4 projects in a single day!), don't expect fine craftsmanship. I can't say whether this was a function of the insurance budget or the business practices of the companies involved. My biggest gripe with T was their communication style, which I found to be a combination of bullying, flat-out lying, unorganized and a practice of ignoring my declared design choices. **Bullying**: Ryan yelled and swore at me when I refused to release partial payment without lien releases for work completed (as stipulated in the contract); my husband and I were very confused why he didn't just ask to shift the payment schedule so that T could get funds to pay subs that were completely out of the house (and had signed the releases) but every time I tried to suggest that approach we were met with yelling and lawsuit threats. **Lying**: T claimed that none of their subs could install a security system without us committing to a monitoring contract (note that monitoring fees include a component which is the financed hardware/install); Ryan also claimed that some projects were left incomplete because the funds had been used up because the insurance allowance was insufficient. The superintendent claimed that finishes (e.g. vanity mirrors, towel bars) were the responsibility of the homeowner. When I spoke with the insurance company, I was informed that T had submitted an extra $12K in "actual" receipts above the estimated cost. **Unorganized** Despite my having picked out the countertop material in October, there was a 3 week delay in May because they assumed it was an in-stock HD item and didn't order it until the day scheduled for installation. The site superintendent asked me for plumbing/electrical choices 3x over several months b/c he "lost access" to my emails. **Ignoring** I asked for simple track lighting in the kitchen - I got a 1-bulb dome light. We will not be going with Tersuli again. read more

We had extensive damage to the carport over our garage. It had to be totally rebuilt. Our insurance company recommened Tersuli Construction as they had worked with them before. The job took well over over 3 months to complete. Theres were several things that we qustioned along the way. We had to constantly stay on top of the job. It appears that most of the job was subed out to several different companys, although Tersuli construction was paid directly. During that 3 months they had acces to the garage as they had to replace the garage door and part of the wall in one side.It wansn t until a few months later that we went to use our Almonst new honda Generator that we noticed it was gone. The ironic thing is it was sitting right in front to the garage door that was replaced. I called Ryan the owner of Tersuli Construction and he didn t seem to concerned. He stated that he would ask his contractor. RIGHT!. I didn t think that anything would be done. I wanted to make him aware of the situation. Would not recommend. read more
