AVE Construction came to the rescue when our roof started leaking after a windstorm. The roof had been modified by the previous owner and had some questionable ridges protruding from the chimney. AVE removed the roof, reformed the ridgeline, replaced all of the old particle board with durable plywood, and it is so beautiful now. A complete transformation. We had them install cedar shake shingles in our eaves as well. The work was amazing, the price was incredible and the people were wonderful. It was literally the best contracting experience I have ever had. I highly recommend them for any of your home projects, you will not be disappointed! read more

This company is less than responsive. They hire the cheapest labor they can find and use shoddy materials. (For example; they replaced a kitchen counter top with a poorly manufactured covering that left sharp edges exposed.) My kitchen sink was removed by a remediation company who subsequently damaged it, at a later date AVE disposed of the sink with the garbage disposal attached, then claimed it wasn't their fault and are refusing to replace it. All in all, they have taken more than two years to do a job that should have taken four months maximum. read more

Hired Eddie to replace a metal roof on my barn. He presents well and I immediately liked him. Checked his reference on another metal roof he built, all good. However, my metal roof job was a complete failure. He sub-contracted the roofing to two gentlemen who looked like meth heads, no joke. The job was so bad the roof leaked and snow accumulated INSIDE my barn. Cutting to the end, Eddie refused to fix the roof and I sued him. I won but with lawyers' fees, I didn't recoup my losses. Eddie's roof was ripped off and replaced by another contractor. I would not recommend hiring Eddie. read more

Already been waiting for 6 days with no hot water and had 2 Plummers, PSE, and the Fire Department out to my manufactured home for carbon monoxide fumes coming from the gas water heater. The Fire Department had shut off the gas and water. No one had any good solutions or suggestions for me and could not solve my problem! I knew that the 14-year-old water heater needed to be replaced! Finally, I thought to call Kitsap Mobile Home Store to see if they had any suggestions. After relaying my weeklong saga, Kristen suggested I call Eddie at AVE Construction. Amazing! Eddie showed concern and listened as I relayed the details of my saga to him. He was polite and positive and repeated a couple of details to get my situation straight. He asked pertinent questions and said that he would call me back.....AND HE DID!! They do not normally service my area, but he said that he would have a technician come by early evening to resolve the situation! Wow!! Now that is true Customer Service! Eddie - Your Customer Service skills and Can-Do Attitude blew me away. Thank You! Trey showed up about 6:00pm after he had already worked a full day! He was pleasant and understanding as I relayed the weeks saga to him and showed him where the water heater was. He worked quickly and was knowledgeable and very professional with a good attitude and sense of humor! It was a struggle to replace as it is housed in a very tight area. Although I felt extremely grateful, I also felt badly that he had to work so hard and was willing to work hard after a long already hard and hot day. He double-checked his work and made sure all was well, and we were getting warm water before he left. He finished about 10:00pm!! BLUF: It sounds like Mr. Bremudez and AVE construction are over booked and in over their heads. If you are looking for a reliable company who is not going to dodge phone calls, or argue over the phone based on an inquiry into a schedule change, I suggest taking your business elsewhere. I'm not sure if my posting history is public, but if it is, you can see the lowest rating I've given in the past is 4-star. Eddie Bremudez and AVE Construction are by far the worst company and customer service I have encountered. Being active military I've lived in 5 different states now, multiple properties, and I've worked with numerous companies over the years including several here in WA - never a bad experience until now. I made initial contact with Mr. Bermudez about 5-6 weeks ago explaining the service I needed. He told me to buy the equipment and when it was delivered to call and schedule an appointment. I did that which took a week. I called him back and emailed a follow-up when the parts arrived, with no returned contact. I understand construction is busy so I gave him another week to respond then called again. This time he answered and said he was just going to get back to me. Fine, I understand things are busy, so we scheduled an appointment for 3 weeks out. I heard nothing from him in between that time (to be expected), so I reached out to him the Thursday before my Monday appointment to confirm since I will be missing a portion of work to support. No response. I call again Friday after work and he answers, to which he responds that the timeline initially agreed upon (9am) has now shifted to 11am. I informed him that I work, and am Active Military, which makes it difficult enough to request a flexible schedule to come into work late. I asked him why the time shifted, without any phone call from his end, or notice. To this he rudely responded, "are we having a communication issue before we start????" I said, "Yes, sir I think we are. You've been difficult to get a hold of and now you are shifting times on me when I have a job." His response was a short, "to that I say thank you for the opportunity." I could have made the change work, I understand things are busy, I simply was looking for an explanation as to why timelines had shifted. He just rudely repeated the same statement. Thats it, after 5-6 weeks where I could have schedule and had another contractor out here he quit before we even started. I can't speak to the quality of his work, the other reviews say its good. Unfortunately his abysmal customer service prevented us from getting to that point. I'm guessing since he was so quick to cancel he is over booked, and his business will do just fine with out me. Best of luck to the next customer who isn't able to adjust their schedule on the fly. read more

We hired Ave Construction (Eddie) to remove a MIL kitchen from our new house and repair the drywall. He was able to start the next day and at very affordable rates. We liked his work so much we hired him for the flooring throughout the house which came out beautiful. We we're in a crunch for time and he came through working the Fourth of July just so we could have the room ready for our boys to move into. All concerns were well addressed and he was very responsive. The work speaks for itself. Our family tends to stick with certain companies when they do well for us and we will recommend and come back to this one for any future needs. read more

Wow. Ave Construction is amazing. First off, let me quote a saying "cheap labor aint good and good labor aint cheap". Eddie isn't the cheapest, but his service is awesome. I was flipping a house and had a contractor that took way too long (like 3 months too long) and did some shoddy work in terms of not making the bathroom floor level, didn't run the roofing shingles out as far as they needed to, left cigarette butts in the front driveway, tried to charge me extra at the end, until I finally cut ties with the project basically done. Except for one thing... I noticed a slight leak early in the process and they said "oh it's nothing; it was probably water stained when we got it". Nope. So I called Eddie to come take a look at it. He pulled off the siding and found that not only did they use the wrong windows there but they didn't put the black water proofing paper wrap on in that area. He got the job done in a couple days and took pictures and sent them to me while doing the work! I liked this since I had only talked to him by phone since I don't live in the area. A couple weeks later I had another issue with my water heater vent that was called out by the inspector. So I called up Eddie. He went out and got it taken care of...or so we thought. He had contacted the inspector but had to leave a VM so he did what he thought would be satisfactory. The inspector called him back 5 days later to say no we needed more. I had no knowledge of that until Eddie sent me another pic of the work they had just finished to the inspector's specs! He did it all without calling and griping at me that the inspector took a long time and now he has to go back, blah blah blah. He just did it. He got it done and I don't have to worry about it. The inspector came back and approved the permit. In regards to my first statement about the cost, I think I paid a fair price for the work I got done and the service I received. However, he did give a quote to my in-laws to redo their shower (not including cost of tile and it was just the shower) and it seemed quite high for just a shower. All that to say, give him a chance to give you a bid, and understand that you'll get great service and it will be done right. read more

I called around several places looking for an electrician to help us with our kitchen remodel. I got all kinds of quotes across the board and then found Eddie. He asked what needed to be done and assured me he would get it done in the timeframe we had. He got my information and came out to Bothell from Port Orchard! He did a great job, making sure everything was placed properly and the correct boxes and wiring was used. True to his word he got our project done on time, he even stayed late that night to finish (as we had our contractor coming the next day to work and we needed the electrical done before he could pick back up where he left off) - Eddie stayed until 10pm!! Needless to say we would highly recommend Eddie, he's the best. read more

Well where should I start!! Eddie and his team has done many projects for me both personal and business and all have been nothing but mere perfection. Eddie will not finish the project unless it's 120% to my satisfaction and at times beyond what I originally had requested. In my opinion AVE Construction should definitely be set aside from the rest of their competition as they will amaze you with their service, quality and most importantly professionalism beyond your expectations. We had a great experience with AVE Construction during our kitchen, dining room and living room remodel. From the initial site inspection to the final detailed cleanup, AVE Construction was totally professional, courteous and perfect. They were confident in their knowledge, offered great suggestions and provided professional work. Our ceiling needed to be patched with our lighting cans being relocated. I was going to take down the sheetrock and put up new, but Eddie and his drywall expert stated he could patch it perfectly--and he did! They did an excellent job patching, mudding, sanding, skim-coating and texturing. We will definitely have them back for future work. read more
