If I could leave 0 stars I would.. my neighbor employed Terry's tree service today to remove two large trees. After they left I realized their employees had broken 2/4 light bulbs we had set down in our side yard, and had blown shards of glass everywhere throughout the side yard and backyard. If my pet is injured by a piece of glass, I am going to sue this company! And, without asking, they removed a fruit tree from my side yard and haphazardly replanted the tree. Awesome service! Terry showed up just 30 minutes after I called. And was able to get his guys working on my tree in a couple hours. Terry told his guys to take extra care of my Porsche as it was pinned under the redwood tree. They were able to rescue my baby with just a broken windshield and a couple dings. In late 2021 my heavy Brazilian olive tree brunch fell on the side walk during one of the earthquakes. They were able to react fast and had all things done within 3 days. Impressive local business. This was actually our second time using their services. About 9 months ago, they helped trim down an overgrown Christmas tree in our backyard, removed a few trees and cut down some shrubs. Fantastic service. We called them out again for phase 2 to trim down the rest of the trees that we didn't get to the first time. Their 5 person crew was done super quick, cleaned up all the debris and even cleaned up all the leaves from the front yard that wasn't even from the tree they trimmed. My huge canary island date palm tree was planted too close to my garage and it needed to go. Estimate by Terry was fairly priced and they're diamond certified so I scheduled the removal and stump grind service. Roberto and his crew showed up on time and quickly set up. I was amazed at how quickly six guys efficiently worked together to cut this tree down and haul it away. Very hard working and friendly crew from start to cleanup. We called Terry's Tree service this week when our cat was stuck in a tree all night. A lady picked up the phone immediately and located a crew who were finishing a job nearby. Five men came over just an hour later. The access is terrible - they had to trudge through waist high thistles and use ropes to climb the tree in the creek. They rescued our skittish cat safely and we were extremely relieved and grateful! They were so positive, professional, careful and safe! My family has worked with Terry since the 1980s & I just used them for another tree removal. I cannot say enough about how professional and meticulous they were. They were on time, finished the job quickly and were extremely respectful of my property. The rates are very competitive but they are one of the few tree services who are diamond certified. If there was a way of no stars I would. Will never use them again. They were hired to remove a tree stump and roots. Had to call them back to remove it which was never done the first time then almost a year later it started growing again. When I called they blamed it on Mother Nature. Coming home from running errands yesterday my wife noticed our oak tree in the backyard looklooked like it was leaning to the right and she could see it from the front of the house. When we went in the backyard we noticed that the tree had split up at top where the two main branches come off the trunk. If the one to the right where to go it would do some serious damage to my neighbors work shed our fence our deck and his pergola. I called four different tree services and nobody but Terry's Tree Service responded. The owner came out that same evening. The bid was better than I expected and the crew came out the next day. I even had them thin out my big tree in front. They cleaned up everything. Only evidence they were there was chips from the saws. I just had my decorative pear tree pruned for the first time since it was planted in 1997. Leaves had been getting in the gutter and my tiny backyard had gone from sunny to very shady. Antoinette came out last week and gave me an estimate after we discussed my concerns. I hadn't realized I'd been neglecting the health of my tree by letting the limbs get so heavy and out of control! They could have broken off in a heavy rainstorm like the pine tree behind our yard! Today, Terry's Trees crew showed up a little ahead of schedule (yay!) with at least 5 men in safety jackets, hard hats and harnesses. A chipper parked in front of the house. We chatted briefly about what was to be done and off they went! As needed, they moved my patio furniture and covered my fountain and glass table. It was all over in slightly over an hour! I had sun in my backyard again! They cleaned up impeccably! Granted, a few of my plants in my yard looked a little the worse for wear, but I expect they'll spring back and I'm not surprised with all the limbs that had to come down. But they used a blower on the patio and a rake on the mulch to clean up every trace that they had been there, all the way out to the curb. I was very impressed. This is the 2nd time I've used Terry's Trees. First time was years ago for a large tree stump very close to my house that they also did an excellent job on. I was extremely impressed with the job recently done by Terry's Tree Service. I have 3/4ths of an acre, and several large trees on my property have become overcome with ivy. Terry's Tree Service was professional, safe, efficient, and hard working. They put in a full day with a large crew removing several dead trees, trimming other trees away from the roof, fence lines, and removing dead branches. We are much more prepared for fire season now! The yard is open and sunny again and ready for new trees and plantings. It was fascinating to watch the process. We were impressed with the way they kept large pieces out of our neighbor's yards and safely to the ground to be cut up and carried away. The men up in the trees (30 or 40 feet? more? not sure) were extremely skilled. Most of the work was on a hillside, just to complicate matters. Terry's tree service removed two Redwood trees from my yard a year ago and I was totally impressed by their professionalism, efficiency, skill while respecting and taking precautions to protect my property. Today I had two very high and very large branches on a Cedar tree break but remained suspended. Very unsafe condition. I called their office at 8:30am and described my problem. Fast and impressive service. I had a giant, three-story tree that was dead and hazardously dry. Clearly, it needed to come down, and I was totally freaked out by how tall and fragile it was. Antionette came out quickly, gave a solid assessment of it and another questionable tree, Arturo's crew was out here the next day. In under three hours, they had the massive thing down, my other tree spruced, and the yard cleaner then when they arrived. They also fixed part of my fence for me, just because. There were a few hazards--a garage and a grotto--that were very much in their way, yet they managed to get that tree down without any damage at all! Watching them was amazing. Terry's Tree Service did a great job in April when they removed 3 trees from my yard and also ground the stumps. The stump in my front yard proved problematic because it had a brick and concrete seating area surrounding it, and it turned out a lot of buried concrete supporting it underground. They don't have the equipment to dig out concrete and the concrete would have damaged the stump grinder. I was told that they'd come back to finish the job after I had the concrete dug out. I finally found someone to dig it out last Friday. I called Terry's Tree Service this morning and a very nice man, Roberto, was here this afternoon and finished the job . Beautiful!!! read more

These guys are great everyone from the ladies in the office- Robin and Elyse (sp?). To the estimators and the crew that came out. When you first talk to the office- the ladies will schedule a time for an estimator to come out. Then the estimators came out-- arrived on time and explained what they would do. I got 3 bids, and these guys came in the lowest. Terry Tree is busy so don't be surprised if after your estimate it will take you more than 4 weeks to get on the books. I had an the tree scheduled for a Wednesday (January 31) but apparently their crew finished some jobs earlier than expected and the office called and asked if they could come on Friday (Jan 26th). there was a crew of about 8. They took less than 1.5 hours to cut the tree, get everything out and through the chipper and they dusted/swept up everything. Check out the pics!!! read more

Made an appointment to have the tree taking down day of the actual job they said it was too dangerous because of the wires even though they had somebody out there looking at it before they took the job in the comment from one of the ladies if I knew there was wires I would have charged you $5,000 instead of $3,OOO so the workers turn down the job and I think not only because they said about the wires I think they wanted more money was supposed to call back never did never apologized nothing I wouldn't recommend them to anybody especially when you don't get back to the customer to let them know what they're going to do for you so beware. Have no PR with the customers more about money like I said I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. read more

I have used Terry's Tree Service before and have been VERY HAPPY with their service. I know I have been due for them to come back but just hadn't scheduled it yet. While on vacation last week I received a text from my neighbor saying he thinks one of my tree limbs looked like it could fall onto his property very soon.
