I loved biting the bullet and coming here after I read a lot of horror stories. The guy working was super friendly and told me that everything would take 10-15 minutes because it was dropped in the fryer at the time of the order. The four piece cod was good but the a la carte catfish is definitely what I'll be back for. The corn nuggets were decent and the fries were great. The hushpuppies were flavorless but I didn't even expect them. The tartar sauce was great. The hot sauce was unique. I did notice there was a charge for using a card but I understand times are hard these days. The inside wasn't too dirty but I can't say it was spotless. I will be back for more catfish!

What is supposed to be a catfish fillet. It's super small and doesn't taste like catfish.

I decided to stop by Terry's since I am visiting from California & remembers that good old Terry's Seafood. My receipt was inputted into the system at 11:26 a.m. I ordered the 2 piece leg & thigh & a catfish fillet. I didn't leave there until almost 12:30 p.m. I know that their orders are dropped when the customers come, but it shouldn't take almost an hour to receive your food during the lunch time rush. I saw people LEAVING because they saw other people waiting & they didn't want to WAIT forever to receive their food. Luckily, this one guy checked his order before he life, because they forgot to add his banana pudding to his bag. I asked the person who took my order to at least add some fries since I had to wait so long for my order. I was very disappointed to see that he didn't. They fish was crispy and tasty. The 'catfish' fillet was very tasty, but I really don't think it was catfish. The texture and fast aren't what I'm used too. The place has a weird smell. There aren't many seats. Service is very slow, so be prepared to wait. It's best to call in your order, but even those people were waiting for their food.

I order a 4 piece catfish meal. This is NOT American CATFISH. This is Swai / Basa- also known Vietnamese catfish.

From Dallas. In Austin ( College Move-In Day ) I'm very familiar with catfish. This is swai / basa, NOT American catfish. So disappointed. Too many restaurants advertising " catfish " but not selling real American Catfish. OAN the chicken wings were really good.

Restaurant is clean. It's small has four tables you can sit and eat at plus a long bar. Old school music playing in the building. The prices are inline with most seafood restaurants. For a family of four including drinks I paid $70 which includes the tip. They make all orders to go but allow you to stay and eat. Immediately greeted by a gentleman, he was very polite and friendly. Food was on point. Delicious hands down. Go check them out! We will return again when we're back in town!

I believe this restaurant only offers to go orders as there was absolutely no seating inside. It's fine cause I came by to place an order go anyways. They seem to be extremely short staffed as there's only one person working the counter and it took her 5 min to acknowledge I was there. I got the 2 piece wings, 1 fish combo and a banana pudding. Maybe waited about 10 minutes for my order so it wasn't too bad. The food was pretty good. Pretty standard for the price. It's a good to go place when you're not busy and the foods pretty decent.

Awesome catfish Dinner plate with okra and fries!!! It's a small business but definitely worth it. The price is right and everyone is friendly who works there. It's inside order and to go only so inJOY

These livers are so damn good!!

This place has seafood!!? It should be called Terry's Awesome Fried Livers. You don't like liver you say!? You have not tried Terry's my friends. If it's just because you've had bad liver, try these. You'll be a lover quick. Truly don't like the taste of liver? Well lucky for you, the fish is pretty damn good. I have yet to try their shrimp, but I do enjoy their fish. You can choose from Cod or Catfish. The Cod is thinner and dryer, with a nice crust. The catfish is flakier and not as dry. Both are just right in fishiness in my opinion. The fries are nothing to brag about, but they are still fries. :) Call ahead for a pickup order during lunch or dinner as this small place does get busy. It doesn't have a small seating area, with a TV, but it's small. Tip: Buy the large fried liver and make some tacos at home or even a crunchy Po boy. You can thank me later!

    Stuffed crab

Service was fine. The food was over priced and over rated!! Cod should not be dried and rubbery or taste reheated. The sides had no flavor and the coleslaw was the worst I've ever had. Stuffed crab was so old and tough it broke my fork. I would not recommend.

Just figured it was a seafood place geared towards the folks staying at the nearby hotels and truck drivers. Had a friend in town who wanted to try them out. I gave in and went. I had a side salad and a Mexican Coke. Both good. Fresh veg and all that. My boyfriend had a breaded shrimp salad and our friend had the fried catfish basket. They raved about their meals. Absolutely loved them. The service was fantastic. Our server was the sweetest. She was super attentive and talked with us as though we were friends. Just a very warm person. When we were leaving she asked if she could give us hugs and we were more than happy to oblige. I wish I can remember her name. I see the reviews here are really mixed and leaning towards the low end. It's my hope that changes because the service was out of this world.

You can really taste the love that went into all this food. This is a food truck right across from HEB mueller in that swimming pool parking lot. She's only open on the weekends and her food can be ordered on DoorDash but she has more menu items in person than on DoorDash. I online ordered and picked up 3 different orders. 2 of them were not ready and she had me wait in my car and she brought them out to me so I didn't melt in the heat. Now the important stuff the menu... Ok who knew you could fry ribs?!?! They were on point. 4 to an order. Ribs were still moist, the batter had a crunch, and the meat fell off the bone. The dirty rice was the best dirty rice I've ever eaten. It was loaded up with seafood The smothered pork chops were 2 to an order and 2 sides served on a bed of white rice. Also very moist and great flavor, the Mac n cheese was not runny which I personally hate when it's just a runny mess, the fried cabbage also had a great flavor and it was still crunchy. The jerk chicken had great flavor but it was ordered as mild (not by me) and it definitely needed the heat/spice,the jumbalaya side was also tasty We also got the hot Cheetos boudin balls (I forgot to take a picture) they were huge and not spicy at first bite the heat sneaks up on you. The strawberry crunch cake was a big slice and reminded me of strawberry cake doughnut but that banana pudding was also probably the best banana pudding I've ever eaten. I felt all the portions were huge and prices were fair. This definitely not a food truck to sleep on. I've been told she makes great oxtails but they sell out fast.

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

The fish dip that it came with was good with their packaged buttery crackers, but it also paired nicely with their homemade tortilla chips. I love their house made sauces! They were the right amount of spicy and not too tangy. I liked mixing the green sauce with the orange sauce too. The cevichite was limey and fresh. Loved it with the tortillas and the pieces of avocado. I really enjoyed the crispy battered fish taco that came with thinly cut slaw. The wagyu taco was even better- it melted in my mouth! Probably our favorite item of the night and if we could change our order- it would be just ordering a bunch of those two tacos. The servers favorite dessert was chocoflan cake so we ordered that. It was decadent and filling. We probably should have just ordered one dessert to share but was curious to try the cinnamon candied pecan cake. We both agreed that was better than the chocolate one!
