This is a great place for fast and fresh food in station square. I think this restaurant is one of the best values in station square, compared to many of the other popular restaurants in that area. I enjoy the southwest breakfast breakfast bowl. Fortunately, breakfast is served all day here. I also enjoy the flatbreads and my wife usually builds her own bowl. This is also a nice venue for hosting events. My wife and I had our small wedding reception here. They prepared a delicious custom menu for our guests. read more

Delicious!!! First timer and I love it. Love this place. The food is delicious and the portion size is worthy of the price. The service is impeccable and the ambiance is inviting. Go and check this place out...they are doing things slightly differently than other places . You can opt for a regular bacon egg and cheese sandwich or you can get creative and make a breakfast bowl. read more

Terrene is such a unique spot! The aesthetics are absolutely beautiful. Walking into this space is walking into a Instagram filter, rainforest chic cafe style. The chef and team are so friendly, you can tell that they have a true passion for developing interesting flavors and high-quality, interesting dishes. I have attended a few special events here & have always really enjoyed myself and the experience. read more

Made a quick stop here before going on the clipper, Had the chicken curry! So good! Really quick too

I attended a wine dinner at Terrene over the Summer, and recently picked up a salad there for lunch. I was stunned by the atmosphere when I visited for the first time! It is really nicely decorated and they have cool lights and plants hanging from the ceiling. Not only is it a super chic salad shop, but the space is available for private event rentals too! The wine dinner I attended really showcased their special dishes that are available for catering. The chef is super talented, and I would recommend her catering your private events! For lunch I tried the Butternut Squash salad: Green Leaf Lettuce, Roasted Butternut Squash, Dried Cranberries, Pickled Red Onions, Walnuts, with Sweet Tarragon Vinaigrette. The proteins you could add were chicken, tofu, or steak. I added tofu and wasn't sure how it would be prepared. It was grilled and was flavorful, but very, very salty. I loved the salad and homemade salad dressing. The size was comparable to other salad shops like Hello Bistro and Roots. They also have flatbreads and sandwiches on their menu too! I arrived around 12:30 pm and pulled right up to their curbside pick up option. I left my hazard lights on and ran in to pick up my salad. The service was great! There were other people there eating and waiting for orders, but it wasn't packed. Once people go back to working in offices in Station Square, I would expect it to be much busier. This is a great healthy lunch option in Station Square. I love that you can order online and go pick it up 30 minutes later. I saw that they also have homemade soups, and I will definitely try one next time. read more

Wow. Went this week for their Kamayan dinner and it was one of the greatest experiences I've had! The food was incredible, the atmosphere tropical and welcoming, and the staff helpful and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try some of Terrene's regular menu if it's even half as good as their Kamayan dinner! read more

This place is my most favorite in pandemic. They have a clean calm ambiance, as I see they have recycle bins and it seems their business is green. The food is so good, high quality ingredients and makes me feel home. I love their avocado toast. Thank you for staying open in this hard times. Keep up the good work. read more

I had the opportunity to experience the pre-launch of terrene x casa manila Kamayan Dinner This hand-to-mouth dining experience is a must for anyone who loves exploring new cuisines and traditions! The meats were seasoned beautifully (loved the chicken and pork belly), the fruit cut the heaviness of the meal, and the rice was the perfect added grain! I also tried their curbside pick-up salads and loved the fall butternut squash salad w/ chicken. Stunning, earthy interior, limited seating. Parking is garage or paid lot parking. A bit of a walk to drop off at the front if your guests can't walk too far. read more

Gluten Free-yes, item specific, notes on menu Casein Free- yes, item specific Terrene is an interesting quick serve restaurant. Think Chipotle with fresh meat, and interesting in how it's is goiing the way of self service order, which is fine for the standpoint of a business operator because it reduce your labor cost. That being said, it's awful for someone with food allergies. Why, simple due to the fact you have to hope you catch the person making your good and convay that yes it's really an allergy and hope that they realize the note in your name means that additional attention needs to be made to your order. The first instance worked out great because the person who helped me understood cross contaimnation and gf meant. The other times it was liKe talking to a wall. There are very few gf options in Station Square that are fast enough for a quick lunch, while this is one, just be aware of the potential of cross coontamination. read more

Nice little place. You order on screen at the cash register and way you wait. Many people waiting take out and you could not get to the pick up area due to a table being to close, forcing people to cluster in the area. My Caesar said was OK. Was more arugula then romaine and did not have any House-Me Croutons as the menu states. The Caesar Dressing does not have the sharp Caesar flavor or taste of garlic that I was expecting and was just acceptable. The menu has other options of Flatbread, Sandwiches and rice bowls. read more

I'm a hard maybe on this place. Seems like it might be more of a stop and grab food and take it home.. every thing is in carry out containers. I you walk in and order on a computer. ( like sheetz) I will say the people preparing the food were very nice and helpful. I couldn't modify the food or see exactly was on it so I just guessed. I got a flatbread. It was okay. A bit sweet but they had some hot sauce in the condiment counter which balanced it out. The atmosphere is cute. You do have to have a code to go to the bathroom which is a little intense. read more

Attended a private party for a small wedding here. The food was absolutely great. The facility was clean. Bathroom was combined fir male/female which I wasn't crazy about, but was clean, so it was ok. The staff was super accommodating. Thank you so much!!! read more

Everything is fresh, or at least it's supposed to be. I have stopped in a total of two times now and both times the salads I ordered left a lot to be desired. The lettuce tasted dirty and was limp. Also when I placed my order (both times) they came back incorrect which meant I was forced to wait for the items to be remade. For those working in Station Square, currently, this is one of very few choices for lunch. I'd much rather eat next door at the Hard Rock for not much more money and know it's right. read more

I love a good salad bowl, and Terrene is a great spot to find one with a decent variety to choose from. Located in station square, it's a nice casual choice for classic lunch fair on the healthy side - including soups, salads and sandwiches. I had the Greek salad bowl and it was delicious. Just the right amount of gyro meat, olives and veggies with a side of tzatziki + red wine vinegar and some pita bread. Check them out if you're in the area. read more

This is another one of the places I frequent when I am going to a conference at the Sheraton and the conference food is terrible (isn't conference food always terrible?). Terrene is a good made to order, fresh food restaurant. I really like a lot of their salads, but the breakfasts are good too. I have liked everything I have tried here, and they are usually pretty quick too. read more

Went here today for lunch and loved the experience! Didn't expect to walk into a beautiful restaraunt with such a good vibe! I really liked the self serve service with the touch screen ordering system. I ordered a warm bowl and sat outside where we waited for our food to be called. We had our food in front of us within 15 minutes. Will definitely come back! read more

I want to love this place because I work across the street, and it's one of few quick spots for lunch in station square. Unfortunately, every time I go I just feel like I've spent too much money on food that gets wasted. I wish they offered smaller sizes for the salads and at a lower price. They have BYO options which is definitely a plus. LOVE the fried cauliflower, although sometimes there have been issues with the preparation (overcooked, undercooked w batter, etc). read more

Nice atmosphere, but unfortunately pretty pricey for what it is. Really wanted to love it but it's too expensive to be a regular.

Terrane and Kimberley Ashlee Catering , both go hand in hand. My brother owned a huge restaurant in station square 20 years ago, when Pittsburgh was starting to gain more of a foodie population. Now, after the pandemic, and years of that area not having a thriving place for businesses, Terrane is one of a kind. The staff and food are on point, but, I recently worked for the owners catering company. I have been in the service industry for over 30 years, #1- their food is wonderful and delicious and the hospitality that they show and come through with is very on point! Again over 30 years in this industry Kimberley and her master Chef Josh are incredible! A defiant must try! Sincerely, Lisa Antoinette read more

I really enjoyed eating here! I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered the margherita pizza and tomato basil soup. A reincarnation of Chop Salad Shop that was in the food court of The Freight House across the street which has closed. A super reincarnation at that. You order at the counter, picking up a drink from the refrigerated case first if you like. You can order from a counter person or do the self serve option at a terminal. And, bonus, once you swipe your debit/credit card you used here before, you can opt to reorder the same thing with a click. Sweet option to save time at lunch. They offer salads, bowls with rice, flatbreads, and soups, plenty of fresh and healthy options including vegetarian. I like the Chicken Tikka rice bowl in particular with sweet potato, eggplant. You may skip any ingredient if you like. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available or you can take it to go. Friendly staff, efficient service, fresh, healthy ingredients all make this a winner, especially in an area lacking fast grab and go options. read more

Nice little chill spot in Station Square. Idk if I'm thankful that this place is open during Covid 19 with outside dining or if I'm going thru withdrawal of not being able to dine out, but I'm grateful this place exist. I had the Nashville Hot which was flavorful. The customer service serves with a smile and great follow up! The decor is modern and easy on the eye though I feel like it's missing something. The seating arrangement is moderate. Overall nice experience... read more

Fresh fresh fresh! Great service and deliciously healthy food. I like that they can modify anything for you to fit your allergy needs!

My first time here. Place looks very clean and some of the employees were preparing food some were making sure the place is clean. Outdoor sitting is nice. I ordered chicken Ceasers salad, ingredients were super fresh and the food is really good. Only 4 stars because the place wasn't busy but it took 24 mins to get the food. To me that's way too long. Overall food is great just slow service read more

I went with a large party which actually did accommodate well. They have a large garage window for air flow and outdoor seating which is nice. They have good fries. These are the pros. The cons are the food was not good. My chicken sandwich was dark meat and fatty. The rest of my party got breakfast bowls that were very watery and overall not appetizing. They do not have a beverage machine and only have a small shelf with drinks. Also they were out of bacon. The smoothies were grainy. For a casual place the costs is too high for the quality of food. The costs averages about $25 per person. read more

Terrene is awesome for lunch! Their Glorious Steak salad is 100% Authentic Pittsburgh food fare and nobody even talks about it. Steak and (really good) fries on a salad with uber-strong dressing and BACON! on fresh greens and all the associated salady fixins?? Yes, please and shut the front door! That's my kind of salad!! Don't get me wrong, it's expensive, but totally worth it. Oh, and they take all the non-cash ways of paying (another Pittsburgh thing). Om nom nom! read more

This place used to be a food truck and should have probably stayed a food truck. The food here is way over priced and honestly it's not that good. For the most part the staff is nice. I do recall one time the owner losing his mind on someone who wanted additional dressing on a salad they ordered, he felt comfortable enough to complain to me about it and I was actually on the customers side, he was very rude. Since their move to a store front I have eaten there twice and both times it was not good. I'm done spending money here and you should save your dollars and head over to the Gandy Dancer where you can get a great meal, just sit at the oyster bar or you'll be there forever also! But this place not good really. read more

The food is pretty good but too many times do they not get your order correct. This has been an ongoing occurrence since they opened. I ordered a couple things from Terrene they Grubhub, and it was the first experience I had with this establishment. I saw it was new on GH, so looked over the menu, and picked out the meat lovers flatbread and the southwest steak bowl. I was pleasantly surprised. The bowl was insane...ample portion, perfectly grilled steak, and just tasted really good! The flatbread looked great, even as take out. Again, excellent portion and the meats were perfect...and as a guy who likes greasy pizza, this flatbread was perfect. I dont know how long this place has been in Station Square, but next time I'm there, I'm going to actually go in to eat there. read more

Completely underwhelmed by my experience at Terrene today. I visited this location as they indicate they have Gluten Free options on Yelp. Upon visiting I was told many inaccurate things about the food by several people - one individual indicated the flat bread was gluten free, another said it wasn't. Then I was told there are no gluten free options except the Falafel - which is not gluten free. Do not advertise yourself as Gluten Free if there is no knowledge of what does or doesn't contain gluten. This place had huge potential and was a complete let down. read more

Quick and delicious bite to eat before getting on the Clippers. We had the Souvlaki Signature Bowl, Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Salad, Kids Chicken Fingers, House Roasted Turkey Pesto Sandwich, and a few flat breads, everything was fresh and fantastic. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Everything is so fresh and delicious! Staff is always kind and welcoming and so professional!
