This is a great place for fast and fresh food in station square. I think this restaurant is one of the best values in station square, compared to many of the other popular restaurants in that area. I enjoy the southwest breakfast breakfast bowl. Fortunately, breakfast is served all day here. I also enjoy the flatbreads and my wife usually builds her own bowl. I attended a wine dinner at Terrene over the Summer, and recently picked up a salad there for lunch. I was stunned by the atmosphere when I visited for the first time! It is really nicely decorated and they have cool lights and plants hanging from the ceiling. Not only is it a super chic salad shop, but the space is available for private event rentals too! The wine dinner I attended really showcased their special dishes that are available for catering. The chef is super talented, and I would recommend her catering your private events! For lunch I tried the Butternut Squash salad: Green Leaf Lettuce, Roasted Butternut Squash, Dried Cranberries, Pickled Red Onions, Walnuts, with Sweet Tarragon Vinaigrette. The proteins you could add were chicken, tofu, or steak. I added tofu and wasn't sure how it would be prepared. It was grilled and was flavorful, but very, very salty. I loved the salad and homemade salad dressing. The size was comparable to other salad shops like Hello Bistro and Roots. They also have flatbreads and sandwiches on their menu too! I arrived around 12:30 pm and pulled right up to their curbside pick up option. I left my hazard lights on and ran in to pick up my salad. The service was great! There were other people there eating and waiting for orders, but it wasn't packed. Once people go back to working in offices in Station Square, I would expect it to be much busier. This is a great healthy lunch option in Station Square. I love that you can order online and go pick it up 30 minutes later. I'm a hard maybe on this place. Seems like it might be more of a stop and grab food and take it home.. every thing is in carry out containers. I you walk in and order on a computer. ( like sheetz) I will say the people preparing the food were very nice and helpful. I couldn't modify the food or see exactly was on it so I just guessed. I got a flatbread. It was okay. Think Chipotle with fresh meat, and interesting in how it's is goiing the way of self service order, which is fine for the standpoint of a business operator because it reduce your labor cost. That being said, it's awful for someone with food allergies. Why, simple due to the fact you have to hope you catch the person making your good and convay that yes it's really an allergy and hope that they realize the note in your name means that additional attention needs to be made to your order. The first instance worked out great because the person who helped me understood cross contaimnation and gf meant. The other times it was liKe talking to a wall. There are very few gf options in Station Square that are fast enough for a quick lunch, while this is one, just be aware of the potential of cross coontamination. read more

Many people waiting take out and you could not get to the pick up area due to a table being to close, forcing people to cluster in the area. My Caesar said was OK. Was more arugula then romaine and did not have any House-Me Croutons as the menu states. The Caesar Dressing does not have the sharp Caesar flavor or taste of garlic that I was expecting and was just acceptable. Located in station square, it's a nice casual choice for classic lunch fair on the healthy side - including soups, salads and sandwiches. I had the Greek salad bowl and it was delicious. Everything is fresh, or at least it's supposed to be. I have stopped in a total of two times now and both times the salads I ordered left a lot to be desired. The lettuce tasted dirty and was limp. Also when I placed my order (both times) they came back incorrect which meant I was forced to wait for the items to be remade. Now, after the pandemic, and years of that area not having a thriving place for businesses, Terrane is one of a kind. I went with a large party which actually did accommodate well. They have a large garage window for air flow and outdoor seating which is nice. They have good fries. These are the pros. The cons are the food was not good. My chicken sandwich was dark meat and fatty. The rest of my party got breakfast bowls that were very watery and overall not appetizing. They do not have a beverage machine and only have a small shelf with drinks. Also they were out of bacon. The smoothies were grainy. For a casual place the costs is too high for the quality of food. This place used to be a food truck and should have probably stayed a food truck. The food here is way over priced and honestly it's not that good. For the most part the staff is nice. I do recall one time the owner losing his mind on someone who wanted additional dressing on a salad they ordered, he felt comfortable enough to complain to me about it and I was actually on the customers side, he was very rude. Since their move to a store front I have eaten there twice and both times it was not good. I'm done spending money here and you should save your dollars and head over to the Gandy Dancer where you can get a great meal, just sit at the oyster bar or you'll be there forever also! I ordered a couple things from Terrene they Grubhub, and it was the first experience I had with this establishment. I saw it was new on GH, so looked over the menu, and picked out the meat lovers flatbread and the southwest steak bowl. I was pleasantly surprised. The bowl was insane...ample portion, perfectly grilled steak, and just tasted really good! The flatbread looked great, even as take out. Again, excellent portion and the meats were perfect...and as a guy who likes greasy pizza, this flatbread was perfect. Completely underwhelmed by my experience at Terrene today. I visited this location as they indicate they have Gluten Free options on Yelp. Upon visiting I was told many inaccurate things about the food by several people - one individual indicated the flat bread was gluten free, another said it wasn't. Then I was told there are no gluten free options except the Falafel - which is not gluten free. Do not advertise yourself as Gluten Free if there is no knowledge of what does or doesn't contain gluten. This place had huge potential and was a complete let down. read more
