I was able to return the two different tests without any issue, and even with one of the packages outer wrapping removed and they still took it back with a full refund. In a subsequent return to the store, I was pessimistically looking for a very unusual type of lightbulb, one that I had never seen before, and, lo and behold, they has it and I was able to repair my lamp. Every time I shop here I am looking for very specific items and staff is always incredibly helpful!

Sadly some windows have problems and several doors arrived badly warped (solid wood doors and ones with glass). One would think Parr would stand behind their products they sell. It has been over 9 MONTHS and we are still waiting for doors from Parr. We even gave up on a few doors that were warped but still have 3 we are waiting to be delivered. I always like shopping at the Grocery Outlets - one can get many things at highly reduced prices,…read moreand sometimes they are unusual items not readily found elsewhere. Of course, they don't have everything. They deal in over-runs and surplus items, though they try to keep a reasonable selection of produce, cheese, lunchmeats, frozen and canned foods, etc. stocked. If you like something and its a bargain, then stock up on it - it may not be there next time you come. This Grocery Outlet just opened in April 2017. It's a bit on the small side, as Grocery Outlets go - but then Madras is a small town. They do manage to get in there most of the things they have in Prineville and Redmond. I look forward to being a regular customer of theirs.

If you are in need of extra cash and decide to, with what should always be your absolute, very last…read moreoption, come here to pawn some of your valuable belongings for what will always be far less than what anyone should consider desirable compensation (Typically 1/3 of the total value of the items, if not less), I would highly recommend dealing with any one of their representatives other than the dark haired, middle aged, woman, who is on the larger side, and whom I believe may be one of the "Managers," which is wild to me. The last 3+ times I've came in with personal belongings that I was looking to sell or get a loan on when I have been in need of cash, she has turned me away without a loan or a sale and so obviously no cash due to claiming that the items I was trying to pawn "Don't sell quickly enough" for her to warrant paying the measley $0.30 or less on the dollar that is the maximum that they are ever willing to pay for anything and everything. The last time she turned me away, was yesterday on 5/14/2026, when I brought an item in that had a $250 used resell value that I was only wanting to get a minuet $40-50 loan on, which is only 1/5 or less of the items resell value, just so I would have a little money that night for fuel and to grab something to eat until I got payed from work the following day at which time I intended on coming back and repaying the loan and picking the item back up. If the resell value of the item is that much more than the loan amount and we are only talking a loan of $50 or less, seems like it would be a no brainer, can't miss opportunity for the store regardless of whether or not the item tends to sell as quickly as other items typically do. I want to point out that I believe that these unfortunate experiences that I've had at this particular store with this particular employee/ person is a reflection only on this particular employee and her lazy, poor work ethic, poor customer service, and lack of commitment to doing right by both the store and the customer on her part more so than it is a reflection on the company as a whole. Given the loan to item value ratio disparity in this example I would also say that the issue gas less to do with the possibility of the item sitting on the shelf for too long and more to do with her unwillingness to work or her willingness to attempt to get out of work rather.

Little lower on price than I wanted for the item I sold but the kid was pretty cool otherwiseread more
