If you are in need of extra cash and decide to, with what should always be your absolute, very last option, come here to pawn some of your valuable belongings for what will always be far less than what anyone should consider desirable compensation (Typically 1/3 of the total value of the items, if not less), I would highly recommend dealing with any one of their representatives other than the dark haired, middle aged, woman, who is on the larger side, and whom I believe may be one of the "Managers," which is wild to me. The last 3+ times I've came in with personal belongings that I was looking to sell or get a loan on when I have been in need of cash, she has turned me away without a loan or a sale and so obviously no cash due to claiming that the items I was trying to pawn "Don't sell quickly enough" for her to warrant paying the measley $0.30 or less on the dollar that is the maximum that they are ever willing to pay for anything and everything. The last time she turned me away, was yesterday on 5/14/2026, when I brought an item in that had a $250 used resell value that I was only wanting to get a minuet $40-50 loan on, which is only 1/5 or less of the items resell value, just so I would have a little money that night for fuel and to grab something to eat until I got payed from work the following day at which time I intended on coming back and repaying the loan and picking the item back up. If the resell value of the item is that much more than the loan amount and we are only talking a loan of $50 or less, seems like it would be a no brainer, can't miss opportunity for the store regardless of whether or not the item tends to sell as quickly as other items typically do. I want to point out that I believe that these unfortunate experiences that I've had at this particular store with this particular employee/ person is a reflection only on this particular employee and her lazy, poor work ethic, poor customer service, and lack of commitment to doing right by both the store and the customer on her part more so than it is a reflection on the company as a whole. Given the loan to item value ratio disparity in this example I would also say that the issue gas less to do with the possibility of the item sitting on the shelf for too long and more to do with her unwillingness to work or her willingness to attempt to get out of work rather. read more

I needed a miter saw for a project and decided to check out cash connection in Redmond Oregon. I had been in the location before and purchased a nail gun and was so pleased with the service and the price I paid that I decided to try my luck again. Upon entering the store and to my surprise I was greeted like before by a very friendly staff and with no pressure I found the area containing the saws I was looking for. I immediately locked onto a saw that at Home Depot was on sale for $600 dollars and quickly realized that wasn't going home with me as I definitely couldn't afford it. So I gingerly leaned toward the asking price only to bounce up and head to the counter with the tag in hand. Could this be the correct price I wondered or was it mismarked. I quickly threw down a line of b.s. about eating top ramen without the ramen and the staff lowered the price again. I won't say the price I paid but I will say I bought a Cadillac for the price of a pinto. Great people, great prices, great experience hands down. I will be back for sure. read more

The policies of this shop made a tough situation even more difficult then it needed to be. They created their own "laws" so they could keep the item that was pawned and I had to contact the department that regulates pawn shops to have my item returned to me. The manager continually tried to find additional reasons not to return my item even though I had all the essential paperwork and more. Here are the real laws they have to follow. Hopefully these will help someone else. Oregon Revised Statute 726.310 states that: "Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the holder of the memorandum or pawn ticket shall be presumed to be the person entitled to redeem the pledge. The pawnbroker shall deliver the pledge to the person presenting such memorandum or pawn ticket upon payment of principal and interest due on the pledge loan." In addition726.330 states: "Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a pawnbroker shall not be required to deliver a pledge except upon surrender of the pawn ticket, unless the ticket is impounded or its negotiation enjoined by a court of competent jurisdiction. read more

1 star AT BEST. We bought a ring here on the 1st, they told us the ring would be resized and back on the 12th at the latest. We called each day to see what was going on and were continually told they would have the ring "tomorrow". We finally got the ring a week late. Only to get a "sorry about that" from an employee.
