For the last several years I have had to have the battery on it replaced about every 1-2 years. It's more an annoyance than a problem, but I guess I need to get it serviced so the battery lasts for several years like it did when I first purchased it. We moved to Bend in late Nov 2025- DH took it to another jeweler on 3rd St to replace the battery. he said he had to wait some time and the cost was $20. I went to put on my watch about 4 days ago and found it was dead. So I called this shop and spoke to a really nice lady and she said come on in and that she typically would replace the battery while I waited. So I went by- it's in a mini mall with easy access, and three ladies were before me. The lady took my watch and told me she would work on it. I strolled the mall and came back to the counter where much to my surprise- maybe 5 minutes later- she had finished the work. The cost was $15, and she said there was nothing of a charge left on the other battery. In any case, I believe she said her name was Laurie, and I have to say it was a pleasure meeting her and having such personal and professional service. If you need a watch battery replaced, don't mess around with the other stores- just go here!

There are so many unique cases of beautiful art pieces. Katherine is a sales associate I remembered from my last trip and she was so kind and helpful. Once I drilled down on Rene Escobar we begin to play. Katherine pulled out one after the other bracelets that I had never seen before and suddenly, caution went with the wind. I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience with Katherine. When I went back to my sister's house she felt that she too might need a visit to Silverado so after hiking we did return - looking quite scruffy - but that didn't deter Meagan from offering a good time with the Rene bracelets and earrings and pendants and in the end, we couldn't resist again. Meagan and Katherine were not pushy. They truly enjoyed showing us whatever we wanted and shared in our thrill of making a few bracelets our own - and a pendant or two...Also included in the experience were other delightful staff who genuinely took interest in selections. They were so rude to both of them that it made my soon to be daughter in law cry! This should be one of the happiest times of their lives and their experience at Saxon's tainted their experience. How snooty do you have to be to put someone down because they can't afford expensive things? They were proud of getting engaged and he is proud about saving thousands of dollars to buy a beautiful engagement ring. Come on...you can do better! A Stunning Transformation…read more I had a blue sapphire necklace that I absolutely loved but, honestly, never wore. I brought the sapphires to John Paul, and he transformed them into the most amazingly beautiful cuff bracelet! The craftsmanship is gorgeous, and I love that he was able to take something that was sitting in my jewelry box and turn it into a stunning piece that I can wear every day.
