This store is a complete mishmash of items from greeting cards to jewelry, candy, gifts and funny signage, that I don't think is terribly funny. "Power corrupts, but absolute power is kinda cool." Most of Sisters is trending toward Old West or modern boutique. This place seems out of place and out of time. Clowns are never in season.

The shop is quite big, with interesting and unique stock. A lot of the inventory seemed to be multiple versions of the same type of gifts, and unfortunately nothing available matched what we were looking for in our gift shopping. They manage to keep you shopping though, as they provide cute backdrops for fun pictures at each end of the store. We definitely had some fun with those...much appreciated. Whomever is responsible for curating their collection of puzzles, stationary, gift items, coloring books, and craft items is doing an amazing job and definitely has good taste! It's a store you can spend a long time looking around in and not get bored. Sisters is such a cute little town and the Paper Place is an excellent place to stop by and grab a few cute gifts!

We've also grabbed multiple Smokey the Bear related items at different visits. What good Oregonian doesn't appreciate Smokey?! And of course the fudge counter...my husband always chooses some fudge each time too...they're always good about offering bites to taste and help him choose. Always a variety of interesting offerings, and service has always been very friendly and helpful every time we've been in. Fun shop. :)

Ineptitude at its finest. My doctor sent two prescriptions first thing this morning (around 9:30…read moream). It's 3:06 pm and they STILL don't have one of them ready. They claim they never received it from the doctor. I drove back to the doctor's office and got a hard copy only to have the doctor show me the confirmation that BOTH were sent this morning. I came back to Sisters Drug and handed the copy directly to them. After waiting in line yet again, the lady behind the counter tells me "they still haven't sent it in." Ummm...I handed it directly to you a few minutes ago!! For the love of Pete?! I know they're busy with a lot going on but how inept are they? You don't remember me handing up a piece of paper literally moments ago?! I asked if they could please rush it as I was supposed to start taking them this morning. I was told it would be at least 30+ minutes. I asked to speak with the pharmacist, a manager, someone who could actually assist me. The pharmacist comes to the counter and says he can put it to the front of the line & the receptionist says it already is. I ask, "the front of the line is still going to be 30+ minutes?" What a joke of an organization. If I had any other choice I'd run there now. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to drive to Redmond or Bend. SISTERS DRUG IS SUBPAR AT BEST. I'd give ZERO stars if I could.

Clearly they don't have the resources nowadays to comment on mean reviews or to modernize their computer system. I am so grateful that they are still in business if only a shadow of what they once were. They are the only pharmacy left in town and they TRY. I have driven the 20 miles to the next closest pharmacy and had the same experience there that Andie C had in Sisters, except that I was left with the choice of driving 40 miles home and back or hanging out in another town with nothing to do but wait for the pharmacists to catch up.
