We visited this store on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Overall, the store itself is great--offering a nice…read moreselection for both men and women. My husband picked up a colorful pair of Hokas, and I bought some wool hiking socks that were marked 20% off. Based on inventory and product variety alone, I'd give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't match the quality of the merchandise. I'm giving this 3 stars because the two employees we interacted with came across as... fake friendly? Not sure if that's a real term, but that's how it felt. At checkout, the man helping us ran into issues with the receipt printer. It wasn't printing correctly, so he asked if we wanted a receipt. My husband said no, he wasn't concerned. As we walked out, I did a quick mental tally and realized we didn't seem to get the 20% discount on the socks. We were still near the entrance, so we turned around but he wasn't there so we asked the woman employee to help us. I explained that we didn't have a receipt because their printer wasn't working properly, but it should be the last transaction in their system. I also mentioned that there might be something in the trash can, but it didn't print correctly, per what her colleague said. Instead of being helpful in a nice way, she replied with a snippy, "Well, I thought you said there's no receipt." That tone rubbed me the wrong way. If I were in her shoes, I would've at least apologized for the missed discount and tried to help resolve the issue, rather than getting defensive. The socks had large 20% off stickers, so it was clearly a pricing oversight. We're talking about an $8 difference--not the end of the world, but it's the principle and how the situation was handled. I think she did not like that I bothered her with such thing. As the saying goes, people won't always remember what you said, but they'll remember how you made them feel. And honestly, the whole vibe just felt snooty. If my husband didn't need to try on the shoes, I don't think we'd have received any help at all. I don't plan on coming back to this specific store. Maybe it's just a Bend, OR thing and this is how they act at that place--who knows.

I'm great selections and lovely vibe in the store. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly…read morerecommend a visit there!

It doesn't say Western Wear, just Men's Wear but we are in Prineville, it is 'out west" so what men…read morewear in Prineville is, by definition, western wear. Walking down Main street on a cool, post July 4th morning, this was one of the few shops open so we stopped in to ask if they had a cowboy shirt with a flag motif. You know, shoulder yoke with matching cuffs and pocket flaps (blue with white stars), body of red and white stripes, pearl snap buttons. I had one years ago, it was made by Dee Cee for The Bicentennial. A few years earlier, you could get arrested for wearing parts of the flag on your clothes but, The War was over, the Draft had ended and even country musicians had long hair and smoked dope so a shirt like that was part of the failed Great Reconciliation. I asked if they had a flag shirt, the salesman said no, they didn't have one but he would be happy to look in the catalogs or even find out about having one made. I thanked him and started looking through the racks and ...Whoa!, What have we got here? A Flag Shirt!! Not a classic cowboy style from way back in the 20th Century but still; made by Roper (respected name in Western Wear), 100% cotton, denim collar AND a good fit. I know what I'll be wearing next July 4th, Flag Day, Memorial Day, USA vs anyone in the World Cup Day. Now, did he offer 10% off for not knowing that he had what I was looking for and making me find it? Nooo (-1 star)!! Other than that, I'm a big fan!
