3 months here and I love it. It's clean, the landscaping is beautiful, very dog friendly and the first snow well cleaned up!

Enjoyed living there for 4 years, quiet over all, nice pool. my unit was a bit outdated but it was spacious. There was an extended amount of time where the security gates did not work, and that was an inconvenience. Upon move out, they took $378 from my deposit to pay to have the carpet replaced. The carpet was poor quality and outdated (compared to the carpet in other units at the Terraces at Northridge), and showed normal signs of use for 4 years. The only damage was from when their toilet cracked and spilled water all over the closet. This is a sneaky practice that appears to be a way of using tenant funds to pay for updates they would have needed to make anyways. I am saddened to have to leave this bad review. read more

They give you your rent increase on the same day you have to advise them if you will not be renewing your lease. Quite suspect.

I just moved in so I will update at a later date. So this review is for the leasing and move in only. The leasing process was smooth and easy, Kim in the leasing office was very knowledgeable and helpful! Thank you Kim for all your help. I'm renting a one bedroom and it's perfect size for a single person or a couple. We just moved in and so far we have had a great experience. Kim in the leasing office has been wonderful. We had looked at another apartment before stopping by to check out the location and although we did not have an appointment, she was able to accommodate us due to a no show appointment which ultimately worked out in our favor. We are thankful as we love it. We received a lovely welcome package and there were some very nice and cute decorative touches included. We have also met a few neighbors and they have been kind. Not gonna hold my tongue anymore! Been here 10+ years and the service gets worse every year! Snow/ice removal and grounds keeping are awful and leave the walkways and parking lots DANGEROUS! Property Manager and Staff do not put out any effort to ensure a safe environment. Corporate will fill you with lots of promises that their influences don't even matter. Maintenance was supposed to be here at an agreed time for some ROUTINE maintenance that has gone by the wayside. Here it is the next day...NO CALL, NO SHOW! Really? Our furnace filters and smoke detector batteries were changed on a schedule...that's not happening anymore. If you like to be fed false promises and work with a Staff who will not come out of their office to inspect the property...this would be the place to live!!! AWFUL! read more

I would give ZERO stars if I could! Nothing but TRASH here! Heavy smokers, one who smokes weed which is ILLEGAL in the state of Ohio! She has no consideration for anyone but herself! Everything is old and dirty here! Barely anything gets replaced. And if the slight chance it does, they will replace with the cheapest of the cheap and doesn't last long. Property manager Kate comes and goes as she pleases. Takes weeks off since her father runs the show with other properties. Very unprofessional staff. Took them over 4 years to power wash the outside which is very old and very dirty. Imagine all the hidden mold that lurks here. read more

Lived here for all of 8 months. Had terrible neighbors upstairs that left their apartment filthy with multiple animals and bugs traveled to us in the apartment below. My dog got fleas as a result. Residents leave dog poop everywhere and do not clean after their dogs. Garages are not fully available due to them storing construction materials/broken appliances in garages that could be used by tenants. The next upstairs neighbors flooded their kitchen and our entire kitchen ceiling fell in. Maintenance is a joke and was extremely unconcerned which was reflected in the repairs that were completed and they had the nerve to charge US for the damages sustained as a result of the ceiling falling in! We received absolutely no empathy from the office associates and just received an exaggerated move out bill (during COVID-19 with a demand for payment in full within 2 weeks!) with ridiculous charges that are completely false. I would NEVER refer this property to anyone and recommend that you steer clear! We will be looking to retain an attorney to dispute the "bill". Stay away. read more

These apartments are TRASH and couldn't agree more with the other recent reviews! Neighbors are all druggies around here! Very rude, obnoxious and heavy smokers. I used to like this city but it's gone downhill! Management is horrible and they disregard everyone's concerns. They allow criminals to live here. Junkies, anyone is allowed to move right in. They crazy too! They raised the rent acting like this place is luxurious and it ain't even a one star! They don't do a thing about fixing nothing either! Half the stairs in every building are cracked, wobbly, loose. And look at them pics from other peeps on here and other reviews. With the ceiling all messed up and a crappy job in fixing it! That ain't right! Not safe to live in a broke down sH#t hole! read more

I've lived here for almost a decade and I continue to be happy here & well taken care of! I love the pool & private entry. The grounds are always well kept, any maintenance issues I've had are taken care of timely and one of the most important things to me, I feel safe here! My daughter has grown up here & I truly have a community who loves her and watches over her. read more

I have been here about 3yrs and I luv it. Well at least up until about 6mths ago when a heard of kids moved above me...they are loud and rowdy. Running and jumping on the stairs and balcony like a playground..It's ridiculous for the cost of my rent to be bothered by this every single day. They need to go!!! Went to fill out an application and the written v part of the application was easy and understandable. I was approved with a $1280 security deposit required. The money was not the issue. The issue was that the "Property Manager" expressed how over worked she was and that someone had the day off. Within 10 minutes of my being in the office I learned so many personal things about the Property Manager it was ridiculous. The Property Manager also boasted about how she made all these changes and how residents just love her. The Property has a guard shack and gates at the entrance which are only down at night. They do allow big dogs which is a plus! The property itself was very clean. I however was just so put off by the lack of professionalism by the Property Manager. I could really care less about who is texting her and the self accolades. Tell me about security, events at the property, the residents satisfaction rate...etc! read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. I was a fellow physician at Metrohealth in Cleveland and needed a place for my family while training. There is no particular order to what I list, just as they come - - First impresson : so clean! never did I see such a well cleaned apartment prior to move in. - great layout of the house : we were on the second floor ( which is the top ) and has a high ceiling that resembles a nice condo. rooms and closet is spacious compared to many others in the area. we had good sunlight, if thats what you like. loved that the front door has direct access outside. - sound proof ! : never could any neighbor bother us due to noise. there is a railroad nearby by could never hear it horning with the windows and door closed. my dog did hear the occasional bark outside, i guess but he has better hearing. Couldn't even hear the rainfall :) - dog friendly : you just need to get a dog if you plan to live hear. - great for walks : the closed apartment area is secure with minimal traffic so you can see lots of people doing there walking. - maintanence is excellent : doesn't matter what kind of repair it is, the guys are so on top of it and quick to get the job done! - location: love that its right off 480 and walking distance to Ridgepark square. many a times did we walk over to AMC to get some popcorn and a late night movie, after buying some stuff at TJmaxx. 5 mins walk gets you to Texas Roadhouse, if you like steak. I'm sure there are more things to mention, but I think you get the picture, we LOVED this place. my wife of course wanted to stay longer but my job did not allow. Anyway, if you're looking for a place that's great for pets, small families, or singles, no need to look further. read more

NONSMOKERS BEWARE! If you are a nonsmoker, this is not the place for you. This complex is crawling with smokers, and they are allowed to smoke inside their units. The insulation between units is not good, and secondhand smoke will travel through the walls, piping, and duct work, and into your unit. The chances are very high here that you will end up sharing at least one wall with a smoker, and if that happens, you will consistently smell strong cigarette smoke in your kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, living room, and yes, sometimes even in your bedroom when you are lying in your bed at night. The smoke will get trapped inside your kitchen cabinets and drawers, even when your neighbors aren't lighting up at the moment. So even if you don't smell smoke as soon as you walk into your apartment, once you start opening cabinets and drawers in the kitchen to make something to eat, you will be hit with blasts of noxious smoke fumes that were sitting inside from the last time your neighbors lit up. Even if you try to enact measures on your own to stop the smoke from entering your unit, they will not work. Insulated electrical outlet covers and plugs do not work. Baking soda and air fresheners do not work. $300 air purifiers do not work. Fans do not work. Even opening windows and doors does not work, especially if it's hot and humid outside because the smoke will stick to the warm air and sit there, even with fans blowing. Even if it's cold outside, the cold air may temporarily carry away most of the smoke, but then you're freezing. Plus, as soon as you close everything up, you'll only smell it again, especially if you turn the heat back on! Having the heat on in the winter only makes the smell worse and helps to spread the smoke farther into your apartment. You will get tired of doing this dance, especially at 11:00 at night when you're trying to get the smoke out of your bedroom so you can sleep and get up for work in the morning! Even when you try to clear out the smoke by opening the doors and windows, whether it's hot or cold outside, there will likely be several occasions when your neighbor next-door will be outside on the shared patio smoking at the same moment, so then you will not only have smoke coming through the walls from the neighbor behind you, but also smoke coming in from outside from the neighbor next-door!! When this happens, there is nowhere else to ventilate, and then you're REALLY stuck in hell. And finally, complaining to management does not work. Since this is not specifically designated as a smoke-free property, management does not feel that they can force residents to only smoke outside, even though it will end up costing them hundreds and even thousands of dollars to clean and repair damaged units that were once occupied by smokers. The yellowed and brown-stained blinds of units occupied by smokers only hint at the extensive damage that is likely to be found inside, but management does not seem to care. Even though it is stated in the lease that you have the right to the quiet enjoyment of your unit (ie. You should be able to live there peacefully without being constantly bothered by any rude and obnoxious behavior from other residents), this apparently does not apply to being consistently blasted with secondhand smoke from a neighboring unit. If it was a noise issue, you might have a leg to stand on, but secondhand cigarette smoke, which is toxic and dangerous to your health, NO - management will tell you that you either have to deal with it, or pay a HUGE penalty to break the lease and move out. And yes, even if you are forced to break the lease early to escape the smoke that management refuses to do anything about, and you are basically constructively evicted and chased out of your own unit due to unlivable conditions that you had nothing to do with creating, you will STILL be expected to pay all penalties associated with breaking the lease. Nonsmokers, PLEASE do not make the mistake of renting an apartment at this complex. You will find no friend here. You may have to go a little farther outside of Cleveland to find a smoke-free complex, but trust me, it will be worth it, and it will save you a ton of money and aggravation in the end. read more
