Since moving to the area, Ben has been my go-to locksmith! :) I have locked myself out twice. One time, he figured out a way I could get in without having to unlock the door, and didn't charge. So nice! A third time, we lost power and I needed to get into the house to get my passport to make my trip on time. I was so glad I had Ben on speed dial! He is reliable and even though it was torrential downpour he was super helpful, upbeat and got me in the house. And since those experiences, I figure it was time to get some house keys.... Ben has now replaced all of my outdoor doorknobs, deadbolts, screen doors and keypad, which equals 7 doors - 6 door knobs, 4 deadbolts, 3 screen doors, one keypad deadbolt). He did this twice, as I didn't like the color the first time. And I wanted some indoor knobs to match (they were the original old gold ones) and he did those too! I was in a total crisis needing to get a key made for my car, which I didn't have the original to copy. I was able to get the codes from the dealership, but not the actual key. I was frantically trying to find someone who could make the key from the codes, and when I called Old Brooklyn Locksmith the guy said that was no problem. Sure enough, when I got there, he took some time to figure it out (actually he had to translate the code from GM to Toyota, which he had to do without instructions just figuring it out himself) and when I finally got to my locked car it worked! Most Shady business I have ever seen I accidentally sent him $80 the next day after I used his service, I called him right after that to let him know. He hang up then blocked my number. Use my husband phone to call him again the next day, he hang up and block our phone call. I had a situation where my outer storm door got locked accidentally [if I had tried to do this the way it happened I could not have deliberately done it] and so could not get into my house. I did not want to break the glass as a solution and did not have the tools myself to do fix this. 24-7 was the first Locksmith I called and they sent someone within an hour even thought it was 8 pm at night. I lost the remote key to my car and was really short on cash. I called old Brooklyn locksmith and they quoted me the cheapest price in town honestly.
