I…read morecould only go by what he told me about the lock because it was late at night, very cold and dark. I choose the one that he told me did not have a key chamber. The next day when it was light outside I noticed the key chamber. I called him and asked him why he sold me a lock with a key chamber when you said that the lock only came with a keyfab, fingerprint, or the app entry. He replied that he had disassembled the key chamber and tossed the keys in the trash without my permission. I want to return the lock and get my money back. He agreed at first but later he came up with lies and excuses as to why I can't return the lock and get my money back. Now I have a lock with no keys and don't know where the keys are. I don't feel safe in my home. The lock cost $289.00 plus tax. I can't buy another lock until the money is returned. I feel like I was scammed and taken advantage of.

Igor of RBChome Locksmith is incredible!! My fiance and I just moved to Cleveland and purchased our…read morefirst home together. I messaged Igor on Yelp a few days before we closed on our house to see if he would be able to come out to our house the day we got our keys so he could rekey our doors. He was super accommodating and told me to let him know when we were finally allowed in our house and he would come over. Fast forward to the day we closed, he stopped by at 4:30 pm and was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. He had to rekey 5 doors in total in an almost 100-year old house. Not an easy thing to do! He was at our home for about 3 hours working away and we were grateful for his service and for allowing us to feel safe in our new home right away. As new homeowners who just dropped a lot of money during closing, we were a little sticker shocked at the total cost, but he was well worth it and he put in a LOT of time and effort re-keying our doors...so we expected to pay a little over $300 anyways. If you are a new homeowner and need to get your doors re-keyed OR if you just are looking for a friendly, reliable locksmith in the area, look no further than Igor. We will definitely hire him again should we need to! Thanks Igor!

I called around to some other locksmiths who quoted me fairly reasonable prices however, one locksmith recommended Ottinger and sons and said to ask for Jason. I called Jason and got an initial quote, which was very reasonable and called him back the following week to schedule an appointment. as I was talking with him, I realized he was at dinner with friends, but he was still taking time to make sure he got me on his schedule. I was more than willing to call back, but he insisted on making sure we got the appointment on his calendar. Jason called me the morning of our appointment to confirm and called me again that afternoon to tell me he was at one job, wrapping up across town and would be to my location quickly. He called as he was pulling up to tell me that he was there. I don't know how often locksmiths are that good at communication, but Jason was outstanding. Jason made small talk and got to know me as he was cutting the new key for my 2014 Chevy Malibu. The key needed a transponder and also required specialized equipment which Jason had in his truck. I don't even think he was at my house more than 15 minutes, but he felt like a lifelong friend by the time we were done. you can tell Jason is a motivated businessman. I highly recommend Ottinger and sons for mobile locksmith needs. Don't make assumptions about cost for a locksmith who comes to you. Call Jason and you won't be sorry.
