I got VM but was called back immediately. I wasn't given an appointment, I was asked when I wanted the tech o arrive. I needed to go to a funeral nearby on the weekend & wanted to go to the house after. I was very surprised to find the price for Saturday the same as the weekday. Their solution to timing the appointment was to give me the tech's cell & told to call as soon as I was ready to start for the house. Jay C. arrived less than 10 min. after I arrived. His truck was really well-equipped, ready for anything. My husband arrived about 10 min. later. Jay was extremely friendly & courteous. He was also really good, opening the house in less than 3 minutes. I also liked he wanted proof of ownership to ensure we were the legal owners, which explains the caveat given about when the tech would arrive. "He may be delayed if we get a call from the police or other emergency." This company's service is so good seems they're who the cops call when they need a locksmith. Plus they're careful about keeping things legal. They hit 5-star status when Jay, finding out we planned to change all the locks didn't try to dissuade us or to use his company. Instead he offered us excellent tips on putting new locks in old doors. We highly recommend this company for it's speed, friendliness, customer service & quality. On my daughters reccomendation I tried The Lock Guy on one of my visits. Even he will admit it was not easy, but between him and his partner they looked through his inventory of thousands of blanks and found one that was close. This was not a mere business tranaction, he took the search for a duplicate blank personally. After about 25 minutes he found one that was close and cut it. In addition he gave it to me on the "honor system" trusting me to pay him if it worked and not pay him if it did not. I returned to Pittsburgh and tried it a few days later. While not a perfect fit, it worked! This kind of customer service is almost unheard of in this day and age. If you need a strange key cut and you live within three hours of Cleveland go to "The Lock Guy." You will not be disappointed.

I…read morecould only go by what he told me about the lock because it was late at night, very cold and dark. I choose the one that he told me did not have a key chamber. The next day when it was light outside I noticed the key chamber. I called him and asked him why he sold me a lock with a key chamber when you said that the lock only came with a keyfab, fingerprint, or the app entry. He replied that he had disassembled the key chamber and tossed the keys in the trash without my permission. I want to return the lock and get my money back. He agreed at first but later he came up with lies and excuses as to why I can't return the lock and get my money back. Now I have a lock with no keys and don't know where the keys are. I don't feel safe in my home. The lock cost $289.00 plus tax. I can't buy another lock until the money is returned. I feel like I was scammed and taken advantage of.
