#1 Locksmith in Cleveland. I had a car key that was cracked and about to break into two. My usual locksmith was unable to help me but sent me to E&A. Emir was amazing. Professional and helpful, a true Cleveland gem! He was able to make a new copy and I was back on the road. Cleveland Magazine should put Emir on a list of top Clevelanders. He's the real deal. read more

Emir saved my bacon today as I locked myself out of my house. I called him and he gave me a concrete estimate for the entire service. Plus he arrived in about 5 minutes! I'm sure that was just lucky timing on my part but it was still greatly appreciated. He was fast and personable. Based on the floating quotes I got from other guys who only gave me a "starting at" quote for the process, this whole process was straightforward and relatively painless for an unexpected expense. So, stress free and moving on with the day was also priceless. I definitely recommend this locksmith. read more

I locked myself out of my home and needed a lock opened for me. It was around 30 degrees outside and I had my dog with me. I called E&A and they had a technician out in about 10 minutes. Not sure that this happens always but I was happy it was so quick! The only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is because they didn't confirm my identity (via ID card, etc) before starting the service. I would have thought that was a must-do. It felt a little too easy to have my lock opened. Aside for that potential security miss, the service took less than 5 minutes and I was able to pay with a card. I got an automated reciept immediately to my email. Now, the price..... Since it was an emergency call, the service cost me $102.60 ($95 for the call plus 8% tax). Let's just say I've had my keys attached to me since. I would recommend them and I would use them again in the future! read more

True professionals - 2022 Santa Fe key fob & programing for about 1/2 the cost of dealer. in and out within 30 minutes.

I needed two duplicate keys made for my suv and this company came through in just the nick of time! I had gone to a locksmith downtown near my job and was told the key type needed for my vehicle had to be ordered and it'd take at least 2 weks. Uggh! They even asked me to leave a deposit! I said no thank you and headed to my local tried and true locksmiths. Like always, I was warmly greeted, and they had my unique key! I was afraid that since there has been a shortage of 'chips" I'd face the same fate as downtown. Nope! Not at all! E.A had just what I needed and they told me to have a seat while they promptly got to work programming the two unique keys for me. How dare I go anywhere else! And neither should you! Never cut corners when you can go to family at E A. Locksmiths. read more

Last year when I needed keys, they gave me 3 different prices. Anyway, did till he was done fixing my key, which took 4 hours in a winter time and told me $300 when they quoted me something weightless before that. They're doing it to me again and I need keys again. I called they told me it was a $30 fee and 169 plus tax. 2 hours later, they call me and gave me a whole another price of $229. I want to know what the f*** the price is. And I had to take it back last year 8 times I had to take the keypad because it didn't work. So I would never give them 5 stars. They don't know what they're doing. read more

My key broke this morning and I freaked out when I got a price quote from the local Toyota car dealership. I called around and ended up searching yelp.com & found these guys. Ahmad received my call, literally drove to my home and had a key replacement for me in less than an hour; it was also much more affordable than the dealership. I ended up not needing to call off work and this pregnant lady was saved from having a mental breakdown. Thanks so much for your professionalism, being patient with me while I asked questions and being so prompt in resolving my issue. I am forever grateful! I will/would recommend them to anyone who ever has a similar problem. read more

Emir did an outstanding job helping my daughter when she locked her car key and cell phone inside her car at a gas station on a Sunday. He was prompt at answering the phone and arrived within the 25 minutes he estimated it would take to get to the location. He arrived and quickly unlocked the car, saving my daughter and me from additional stress. Responsible and reliable as well as prompt and professional. I highly recommend this company read more

Emir kicked ass. Came in a nice well organized Mercedes workshop, gathered my info, processed it, and went to work. He made some nice conversation, deleted the old codes for my vehicle and set me up with 2 new keys. Even recommended a shop to get my exhaust fixed read more

E&A provided exceptional service for me. They were sent as a partnering organization by AAA to help after my keys had been lost in an elevator shaft (I know). Samo's assistance on site allowed me to get a new key for my car at a fair rate. His help turned a stressful situation into a much better one. Lucky for me, the old keys were able to be rescued from that elevator! The coding for the chip in the key that starts the car was different for the new key and old one by nature of making the key off site. I gave Emir a call, and within minutes he fixed it remotely while I sat in a parking lot. E&A Locksmith is worth your time and money. When you need a locksmith you are often stressed and overwhelmed-- these guys did their jobs to get me on the road again quickly and happily. read more

when you're locked out of your car in sub zero temperatures and desperate to get home you call anybody and luckily E&A was there and ready to help with the swiftness. Pricing was great, i mean if im keeping it a buck i would have paid $10000 because it was literally freezing outside. They were quick and polite, even dragging the man out in the cold didnt seem to take the smile off his face. HIGHLY recommend. read more

Don't use these guys. I used them for a change of locks when we bought a new house, and the guy took forever. He refused to put on the type of lock I wanted, and when it was done the lock was really sticky on the front door. I thought it would loosen up over time, but I was wrong - a month later, my key broke off in the lock! When I called to have them let me in the house, they refused to come until 10:00AM the next day. Don't waster your money - call someone else. read more

Really fast, nice customer service. I called on a Saturday because my car keys were lost. They said they would be there in 20 minutes, and they were. Shortly after I had two new keys. I got locked out of the house by my 3 year old who turned a lock on our door handle without me realizing it. I just so happened to not be wearing a coat in 45 degree weather because I thought I would be outside for 5 minutes letting my dogs out. Luckily, I put a jacket on my son and had my phone in my pocket. I called 3 other places that were closer to my house and got no answer or that they were closing and I should try someone else or that they could come by in 2-3 hours. E&A said they could be there in 45 minutes and they got there in 30. The lock was old and frozen (we never even had a key for that one) but it only took maybe a minute. It was expensive but considering it was an emergency, after hours visit on a Friday evening it was on par with what I expected. read more

I definitely recommend these guys. I've used EA three times in the past few weeks, great service each time. They replaced a truck key that our crew lost, and made sure to remind me that I had AAA to cut the price by two thirds. They also got us into a locked building late at night, arriving as promised 45 minutes after the call was made. Finally, I re keyed my entire house, and everything turned out great. Amir owns the place and works hard to get the job done right and for a reasonable cost. Bob has been helpful as well. read more

I found someone else to help me for much cheaper than he said. Then he called back and said he was charging me for inconvenience. read more

We have lost a second key to our Chrysler - a 7 button fob with "Push Button Start" and have been shopping around for a replacement. We had another company quote us one price when they came out they increased the price and needed to go someplace else to get them. I called Amir and he was straight forward with pricing, service and availability. He told me to come to his shop, by the time I came his office was already closed - nonetheless he was friendly and courteous, provided an excellent service, reprogrammed All the keys and gave a good price! Highly recommend E & A Locksmith and Emir for any reliable, friendly, quick, and reasonably priced locksmith services!!! read more

Emir totally helped me out. We live out of state and my daughter goes to college in CLE and only had 1 key and remote for her car. The remote went through the laundry and died. We needed a working remote for safety reasons and Emir was able to make that happen while I waited in the store. Emir is a funny trust worthy guy and the service was excellent. Highly recommend. read more

Fast service, knew what they were doing, but most importantly they are trustworthy. Great pricing as well, highly recommend.

These guys are great! I had a safe at my house and was locked out of it. They said the pad went wrong and that they would have to drill into it. I was worried my items would get damaged and I would lose my safe but they saved everything! I got every personal belonging back and in my hands and they couldn't have made me any happier. The workers are very kind too. As much as I hope this never happens again, if it does I am calling E & A. Thanks guys! read more

I purchased a used 2010 Lexus RX350 and was only provided with one key. I got ahold of a spare key and needed the 'smart key' to be programed. Called numerous shops, most who either couldn't cut and program a Lexus key or would give me the round-around about "maybe" being able to do it. Emir was quick to return my call and reassured me that he would do everything possible to help me out. On probably the snowiest day of Cleveland, he kept his shop open for me. Within an hour he was able to program my smart key and laser cut the spare fob. Thank you again Emir. read more

Im stranded at 10 o'clock at the airport because I lost my keys while traveling. I see that this company is 24 hours and does BMW key fobs so I give them a call. A tired voice answers and when when I tell him my problem he goes " You'll just have to call me back tomorrow bud" as if I was annoying him. So now Im stranded in Cleveland for the night. The next day, I call him back (because nobody else can do BMW fobs) and the tech wants $550 dollars for a new fob! Ridiculous! I called the local dealership and they only wanted $200! What a rip off. You cant just hear "BMW" and start seeing dollar signs because you think I'm desperate. read more

My car got broken into and my wallet, and car keys got stolen. I called Toyota to have the car key replaced but they said it'd take at least two days. I cannot wait that long! ( I needed immediate assistance) So I called Emir explaining him the situation. With that one call, he came to my apartment with his fancy truck! Soon after, he created my car keys. I couldn't thank him enough, he was super efficient, on time, and straight to the business. Not only was he helpful, but he understood my situation and accommodated the needs based on my schedule. I would recommend him to anyone, as a customer, we should all receive services that we deserve for and Emir can definitely provide that. read more

I highly recommend E&A Locksmith!! I arrived at their office to check out the prices and if they were able to help me re-key the locks for my business. I was assisted by Emir, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Within 1.5 hours, they were able to send someone in their white van to help me re-key the doors. It took the service man about 15 minutes to complete his task. He handed me the keys, asked me to test out all the doors to make sure nothing was wrong. I immediately noticed that it was easier to open the front door with the new key, in comparison to the old lock. Everything worked out and I would definitely go back to them for my future services. Thank you!!!! read more

Don't waste your time or money anywhere else for smart key/transponder help. After frustrating times with other locksmiths who didn't know what the were doing, I got excellent service from E&A. I called on Thursday and scheduled a re-key for Saturday. I was quoted $69 for the service call and $18 a lock. I gave the green light and set up a time for Saturday. The appointed time came and went, and no locksmith. I gave a 20 minute buffer, then called to check the status. They said I wasn't in their appointment book but that someone could be here in 20 minutes. The guy I spoke to then quoted me $75 for the service call and $25 per lock. When I explained the previous quote, he said that was the weekday rate. I told him I'd called during the week but had scheduled for Saturday and gotten the rate quoted above. He stayed firm to his "weekend rate," so I told him to forget about it. Thanks for wasting my time, standing me up, and then having the guts to try to charge me extra. read more

After-hours call due to locking myself out of a house at night. Made it within reasonable time to the estimate given. However, could not open a consumer Lowe's door knob. It was part of a matching key, deadbolt set, so not sure if that makes much of a difference, but lock still needed to be drilled to gain entry. I happened to have an older replacement knob in my house, which he installed quickly though free of charge. Professional, prompt, accepts credit cards with a mobile payment system which I appreciated. My only hesitation was that the lock had to be drilled, increasing the cost. Still, price wasn't as bad as it could've been, and otherwise went well. read more
