Arrived at location during posted hours. Store closed. Phoned the number and was told it is by appointment only unless you are free Thursday 10-1. Very convenient if you are retired. Was essentially told that my job was not big enough or important enough to warrant scheduling an appointment. The man I spoke with had no customer skills and was absolutely inconsiderate and rude. There has to be better people and places to deal with. Don't waste your time or energy. On top of everything else, you don't even get to explain what you need. Talks over you. Jerry came to my house to repair a lock. He is highly knowledgeable and was able to repair my door saving my from replacing an expensive Anderson door part. He also rekeyed two new locks so I could have same key for both doors. He mentioned retiring but I hope he never does! Highly recommend this business! The store is only open once a week. Didn't know that until I saw a sign on the door so I had to come back on a Thursday. Not sure why they didn't put the hours for the other days as remote service only. The person in the store also doesn't wear a mask and talking to you 2 feet apart. He maybe be vaccinated but he is working with customers and needs to be more concerned about the public safety. read more

Smart guys. Fair prices. A store with a person behind a counter! They have a sign on the counter, "Bring it in and we will make it work." Well they do. I had an old lockset I needed to replace or rekey. He told me to rekey it it was solid brass and expensive. Not like the cheap stuff you can buy at the Big Box places. I was in there because the Big Box places couldn't help me. Old fashioned hours M-F days. But they know what they are doing. Fast duplicates on keys too. These guys literally saved the day for me. My morning started with the key to my home snapping off while still in the lock. There was a bit of it sticking out so I went to home depot to get some plyers. While there I asked their key cutter if he could make a copy from a broken key. I was told it was impossible. Once I got my key out of the lock I decided to try a locksmith (in the hopes they could do the impossible) and these guys were close by. The young woman at the counter was super friendly and honest. She said she would give it a shot, but it might not work. My new key was made a few minutes later and it works perfectly! Unbelievable- Had to return three times for battery replacement in car key remote. Original battery worked for 8 years, since they changed battery they don't work past 3 weeks. Was told new battery would be $6.95 or I could purchase new key remote. Sign on counter says 100% guarantee , when asked clerk about guarantee she said " it worked when you left here".
