I'm a small business owner in Bay Village and the lock on the front door of my office broke, preventing customers from using our main entrance. After finding Joe on Yelp, I requested a quote and received a response in about 20 minutes. Joe was able fit me in his schedule later that same day and showed up on time and resolved my issue in about an hour. He and his service tech were friendly and professional and my office entrance now works better and more smoothly than it ever has! Use Joe for any locksmith needs!! read more

Joe is a great. He has helped me with my locks a couple times at my house. He usually answers his phone, which is unusual these days. We all are so used to getting a voicemail and hoping to get a call back. That doesn't happen with Joe. His work is great. He comes out quickly and fixes locks very quickly. He certainly is an expert locksmith. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I live in Seven Hills near Independence and Parma. He services the area and I am really glad he does. read more

Joe won my business first and foremost by replying to my initial inquiry with not only a quote, but also with some different options and pricepoints, and he also gave me his general availability for an appointment.. When you get value like that, price becomes less important.. I got exactly what I asked for, at a very fair price, and when I brought up some extra key and lock work I forgot I needed until today, he was very helpful and took care of me..joe and his assistant are top notch. read more

Getting a contractor to answer a call or keep an appointment has been nearly impossible, so I was actually shocked when Joe responded to my contact within ten minutes. Joe is a nice man. He is also professional in what he does. He was helpful and patient as it was surely obvious I didn't know what I wanted or needed. When he left, I had an attractive new door lockset and a repaired grandfather's clock lock (whose key had broken off inside). Thank you, Joe! read more

Joe and John came out to pop the emergency pull lock on my garage, Joe had the lock open in less than 2 minutes. He also cut a key for me. The poor guys froze to death doing it, it's 15 degrees outside, but they have won my business from here on out. Cutting the key took a little bit longer, which is why they froze, but worth it. I promised Joe that when the weather warms up I have another project. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a locksmith. read more

Awesome service from Joe - I contacted him in the morning and he got back to me right away and was even able to fit in a same-day appointment. He rekeyed all our locks and repaired an old lock that was broken. He explained what the charges would be before doing any work so there were no surprises, worked efficiently and then waited while I tested all the locks to make sure I was happy. Overall I could not have asked for better service. read more

We had a great experience with these guys when we moved into a new home and needed extensive work on the locks. Most importantly (when it comes to a service performed in your own home) they were very respectful and friendly. They even helped us with some old interior door handles that were not working properly and showed us how to fix them in the future when they (inevitably it seems) come loose. Highly recommend! read more

I had an old lockset that needed replaced with a backset that was not standard. I called 3 locksmiths to do the work. 2 of them blew me off. Must have been too difficult for them. Only Joe took the time to find what I needed and get it replaced quickly. I feel his pricing was fair for the value received. I would call him with any lock issue I have in the future and recommend him to family and friends. read more

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service! Joe shared his expertise and explained how to maintain my safe/lock to avoid this situation in the future. Thank you for not making me feel like an idiot!! Should I need service in the future---I won't hesitate to call Joe's Lock and Key. Oh---and all this at a very reasonable price too!! Called Joe in the morning and he showed up at 1:30 to work on my problem. I thought the lock on our door would need to be replaced, however, the lock was fine. The problem was with the latch, which he fixed. He also retooled the lock on the door knob to change the position of the keyhole. Joe was very proficient, timely, friendly and inexpensive. I highly recommend him. read more

Called Joe for a safe opening and lock replacement. Joe was able to fit me in next day and had great communication on when he would arrive. Joe was able to get my safe open without any damage to it and replace the electronic lock. I could not be happier with the service and would not hesitate to call for any safe or lock needs in the future. Thanks again Joe! read more

Joe is excellent! He was referred to me by another locksmith who did not feel qualified to work on my multipoint locking door. He fixed the door and then gave me the serial number and brand of the vintage door lock so I could find an exterior key lock for the door. He returned and installed the new lock while he fixed another door. I highly recommend him! read more

We needed 3 commercial doors (5 locks) re-keyed. Joe responded promptly and scheduled us immediately. He was professional and even fixed an anti-theft plate that was interfering with a deadbolt at no extra cost. Very competitively priced as well. This locksmith knew his job. He worked carefully, didnt try to sell us extras, made a suggestion that works for better convenience for all 3 doors that he worked on. His pricing was very fair. After completing the work he left the area clean. In addition he came out and did the work the same day we called. 5 star review in every sense. read more

Following the August 2024 tornadoes, it dawned on me I had no entry to my garage should I lose electricity. There was a lock on the garage door, but we never got a key when we purchased the home. I called Joe. He responded timely and was able to fit my schedule and meet my needs. Definitely recommend. read more
