(I lost my car keys, how do you expect me to get there?) After reviewing his info from google, it says he comes to you day or night, through any emergency. That's great, if it would have been the case...but it wasn't. I contacted him at 8 am and he said to call him in a couple hours. Then said he could have it after 6pm. Not very reliable. Would be a one star but if you're willing to drive to him somehow, the price for a simple key is fair, I suppose.

This is an updated review. I originally wrote a bad review for reasons no longer Important. I did…read moresay that if the service provider (Ely) did the right thing, and fixed the issue, that I would change my review. I honestly didn't expect anything to happen, but I was wrong. Ely is an honest man, and did right by me, and my family. He has gone out of his way to help us with a key issue that we have been going crazy trying to solve. He exceeded my expectations, and changed my initial impression of him. This is a first, and left me glad that people actually still do good, honest business in this country. Thank you for your help sir. I apologize we didn't know more about our vehicle, but we're glad you have the knowledge to fix our only family car. Top notch!

Igor of RBChome Locksmith is incredible!! My fiance and I just moved to Cleveland and purchased our…read morefirst home together. I messaged Igor on Yelp a few days before we closed on our house to see if he would be able to come out to our house the day we got our keys so he could rekey our doors. He was super accommodating and told me to let him know when we were finally allowed in our house and he would come over. Fast forward to the day we closed, he stopped by at 4:30 pm and was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. He had to rekey 5 doors in total in an almost 100-year old house. Not an easy thing to do! He was at our home for about 3 hours working away and we were grateful for his service and for allowing us to feel safe in our new home right away. As new homeowners who just dropped a lot of money during closing, we were a little sticker shocked at the total cost, but he was well worth it and he put in a LOT of time and effort re-keying our doors...so we expected to pay a little over $300 anyways. If you are a new homeowner and need to get your doors re-keyed OR if you just are looking for a friendly, reliable locksmith in the area, look no further than Igor. We will definitely hire him again should we need to! Thanks Igor!

On my daughters reccomendation I tried The Lock Guy on one of my visits. Even he will admit it was not easy, but between him and his partner they looked through his inventory of thousands of blanks and found one that was close. This was not a mere business tranaction, he took the search for a duplicate blank personally. After about 25 minutes he found one that was close and cut it. In addition he gave it to me on the "honor system" trusting me to pay him if it worked and not pay him if it did not. I returned to Pittsburgh and tried it a few days later. While not a perfect fit, it worked! This kind of customer service is almost unheard of in this day and age. If you need a strange key cut and you live within three hours of Cleveland go to "The Lock Guy." You will not be disappointed.

So I have an old house, with an old door, and an old keylock. On Halloween night it decided to…read morestick- and not heaven or God himself could move the key or the lock. UGH. Next morning, I called to "unlock the mystery." Haha. NOT funny actually, I was seriously worried about this. So I called Jimmy's -since I really would rather trust my Yelp friends and he had really good reviews (and it was Sunday). Called me right back, and said would be there in 30 minutes. Right on time and went right to work to check out my door and lock. The door is slightly warped and since it is original to the house - he told us that it would work better ultimately if it was rehung. But he adjusted the lock and then had me test it. Well, I still had trouble turning the key because I'm kind of a weakling - and well, I DO need to get in the house. If I can't turn that lock - my daughter couldn't either, and then I was really concerned. So he offered a solution as in installing a deadbolt instead of using the original door knob and lock. I went for that option and asked if I needed to set an appointment and he'd come back during the week and Nope! He did it right there! In about 40 minutes I had a nice matching deadbolt, better security and 4 new keys to go with it! Very pleasant, patient and professional. He had to drill a hole in the door to insert the deadbolt, and not a speck of debris left behind. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs help onsite. He does car keys too!
