Really takes time to make sure the ground and all maintenance issues are attended to in a timely fashion. Most of the apartments here are all remodeled and they are just beautiful. No critter issues either. I was upset because there were a lot of bad reviews about Mystic Creek and I guarantee anyone reading this that there are no issues here. My apartment faces the Metro Parks and its wonderful to see all the wild life. This is a very good living experience!!

I have seen many negative reviews of Mystic Creek over the last years and feel it is time for an honest update. Our current manager Jackie is hard working and has turned this apt.complex into a good living experience. I disliked the impersonal, rigid, almost threatening management style at my former residence. I prefer the friendly, relaxed attitude here at Mystic Creek. All apt. complexes have some problems but Jackie does her best to address residents' issues and goes out of her way to be helpful and make life easier for residents. The majority of apartments here have been gutted and renovated with stylish quality along with many overall upgrades. The halls were recently recarpeted, repainted and decorated in a lovely contemporary style and the elevator refurbished. The laundry rooms were also updated. The parking lot was repaved and a new roof put on bldg. A (one of two blogs.) The rent is fair according to market pricing. The drug problems vanished with dealers banished! I love the scenic location/beauty next to Big Creek-Metroparks. I am looking forward to signing another long term lease.

I had to throw away most of my new kitchen appliances (that I specifically bought for my new apartment) due to being covered in roaches. I am absolutely disgusted that this place would put me and my children in this type of situation. I am too scared to cook in this disgusting kitchen , Too scared to brush my teeth because I don't know if a roach was on my toothbrush, and too scared to sleep because the thought of roaches crawling on me and my children frightens me. We are also getting bit by something in the apartment and are not sure if it is bed bugs or flees. I am 100% taking legal action if I do not get my deposit and first months rent back. The cleaning company also did not clean under any of the appliances in the kitchen leaving dirt, bugs, and garbage under all of them. If that isn't enough , I had to buy two laundry cards because the first one that I bought did not work. After putting $20 on the laundry card, I used both washers to wash my clothes and when I went to use the two driers, one was not working at all so I used only one. I had to pay 3 times to try to dry my clothes, but the third time I realized that the drier had somehow managed to burn a hole in my brand new bed set and leave the rest of my clothes soaking wet. I am absolutely devastated by this experience and hope that we not only get refunded everything that we have paid, but I hope that nobody else gets put in this situation as well.

Washers and dryers constantly breaking or barely functioning, the AC is terrible , rain coming in through the windows when they are closed , the sink backing up and flooding onto the floor , terrible parking to where there is literally nowhere to park and people have to make their own space to park . If you want a good quality apartment I highly suggest you don't pay that much money to live in a dump . I'm MISERABLE and can't wait to move .

Took a…read moretour and filmed a video ((for work)) where I met a lot of a residents and they had nothing but wonderful things to say AND THEN the tour put a picture to their words. Not at all spoken, by the residents, as a "senior home or facility," but instead they call it a community. In fact, they would like to refer to it as Cloverleaf Communities. The apartments are spacious, quiet and the residents are friendly and sweet as pie. They offer events in the community room, celebrate monthly birthdays, have a family room, offer billiards, hair salon and shuttle for those who are no longer driving. You think senior living and shoot to an age range of 80 years and older, no. I met a women in her 60's who was just tired of the yard work! I met a man in his 70's who works out at the gym three times a day, hunts and enjoys the food in the area. The biggest perk, the residents will say, is the dish washer, stainless steal appliances and the fact that they can send their grand kids home at the end of a long day. I laughed. My mom does the same. If you are in the area, do a tour. Now, I was only there for work, but I told all my new friends that I would be renting out an apartment asap and would see them soon, and I'm only 32! ((Don't tell my son or husband.))

This "Senior Apartment Complex" is marketed to the senior citizens but offer no senior amenities. No car-ports (even though they publicize they have them). No shoveling sidewalks (public area); no shoveling of ramps from sidewalk to parking lot for those with wheelchairs/scooters; trash room doors that are so heavy they can't be opened by most tenants in a wheelchair/scooter holding a bag. One elevator that goes out with the electricity which leave those again with wheelchairs/scooters, unable to get to their apartment. Smelly halls that when asked of management, you get "it is what it is". Landscapers that blow grass onto the patios of ground floor tenants and then have to be raced down (in a wheelchair/scooter) to have them blow off the patio. A maintenance person who says he will do work then never shows and found sleeping in the parking lot. A property manager that never leaves her desk and just gives lip service (vs. personal service). Tip of the iceberg people! Don't go! I wouldn't send my enemies here (then again..)

Sometimes requests have to be entered 3+ for any response. Other times, third parties are hired to do a job for 8 hour maintenance and only 3 three hour is are actually productive, which leads to an increase in rent. Water here is "free." Residents water courtyards which leads to an increase in water/ sewage bills for the complex, which gets handed down to residents for higher monthly payments. Nothing is done to downsize the costs. I, personally, havea security camera on my porch. The complex company's needs to invest in security cameras for the rest of the complex. Specifically in entrance areas and parking lots. Let alone productivity, the quality is a joke

Been living here close to 5 years and been a near "perfect" tenant meaning no late payements, no personal issues with other tenants or management. Recently since undergoing new management, They over charge on rent (1 bed is over $1200 but they won't show that), have had multiple occasions of maintenance or leasing office workers strolling into my apartment unannounced (freaked out naked one time) and there was no emergency before anyone comes for me, payments constantly "get lost" and your stuck dealing with it, and because ohio has no laws on how much rent is allowed to increase they raise it so that it's unaffordable and your forced out. Just got a letter about our laundry price going up as well lol. Also not to get started about the geese! Personally I don't mind them wildlife was here before the buildings...but Pleasant Lake has gone as far as hiring an outside party to "shoot" at the geese or "scare them" in some way making them leave. (I've had personal convo with that third party) Now I understand they may not want to deal with geese droppings but then don't use a goose on your logo or to advertise your apartments and don't have a giant lake in the center and expect no wildlife! Maybe instead post geese crossing signs. Just a tip. But yea, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and just waiting on the day I can go elsewhere!
