We arrived around 11:30 a.m. and were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves for a bit. Our waiter was wonderfully kind and attentive, checking on us throughout our meal without ever being intrusive. The wonton soup was delicious, with fresh, crisp vegetables that added the perfect crunch. The lunch special is an amazing value at $13.99. For just a $1 upcharge, you can substitute fried rice, and your meal includes an egg roll, your choice of soup, and your entrée. The portions were generous enough that we both had leftovers to take home for dinner. I ordered the Szechuan Beef, and it was absolutely outstanding. My husband ordered their dan dan noodles with 1/2 spicy and he really enjoyed his dish, but the 1/2 spicy was still too spicy for him. We also ordered their spicy wonton and let's just say, we've had better. The appetizer came with 5 tiny pieces of wonton and again, the flavor is just not there. A bit disappointing to say the least. The only thing I liked was their cucumber salad, but that's a pretty basic appetizer that most taiwanese restaurants have. It's nice that it's complimentary, but that's about it. Overall, it was just an ok for me. We may be back to try something new, but for their most popular dish being meh to me, it's really up in the air. After one bite, I knew that the old chef must have left. My food was so bland. To start with, I don't think it was salted at all..... which quite often affects the flavors negatively. There were no other spices or sauce or anything tasty in my bowl. I was very disappointed. I didn't even eat a quarter of the Bun. I didn't take the rest to go and I won't be returning, unless I see that they have returned to their former style of cooking. So I'll definitely be watching the reviews. It makes me very sad to have to write a negative review, especially about a place. I have enjoyed so much in the past!!!

He immediately responded with a heavy negative tone saying that he wish they would have told him ahead of time. The entire meal he seemed put off that we had special requests, and only seemed to change his tone when we were close to paying. Simply based on how he treated the situation, we won't be back. Too many places out there that are more accommodating and understanding.
