Spicy pork teriyaki $8.49 soooooo good
    Erica W.

I decided to try out Door Dash, and Teriyaki Plus was my lunch pick. I ordered the spicy pork teriyaki. I liked it so much, I've made Teriyaki Plus my GO TO teriyaki spot in the South end of Seattle. Recently, I called in an order, and asked what the daily special was. It was chicken and gyoza. I went with that. It was $9.99 and even came with a drink! I was happy with my choice. Their chicken is really good. Good quality, no fatty pieces and good sauce! The service is quick, the teriyaki is great & I love the daily specials!

Pretty good food. Went in during the lunch rush and still got my food in about 5 minutes. I got a chicken and beef kabob, and side if gyoza. 4 star because the meat was interesting not bad, but probably not something I'd order again. Kinda wish I just got teriyaki, definitely will next time. The service was fantastic. Friendly and quick to the flavorful variety of people that I saw come and go the times that I was there.

I'm also from out of state so everytime i went I wasn't able to try it out until this time! It was definitely worth it! It's a small restaurant located across from another sushi place. The restaurant itself has a warm and cozy atmosphere. We ordered the ochazuke, the unigiri (mentaiko mayo and the mentaiko special), as well as the agedashi tofu. The ochazuke was very good! I ordered it with grilled eel and after the original dashi broth was added into the rice, the dish was just perfect! I definitely recommend trying this dish! I would go back just for it! The eel was made perfectly and was soft and flavorful. I also loved the mentaiko special onigiri (cheese and spicy roe)! It was so so delicious! We ordered the mentaiko special togo as it was so good we needed to bring it back to california hahaaha. All in all, definitely a five star restaurant I would definitely recommend!! For parking, since it is a busy area, we ended up parking at uwajimaya which has free parking if you make a minimum purchase of $20. We just bought some snacks and that covered parking.

We decided to check them out for dine in. We came in right when it opens so it wasn't busy at all. We got: Ochakuze with salmon and salmon roe --- pretty good, but it got salty eventually. Pork belly don -- I like the flavor of this one more - balanced. Yaki shoyu butter -- good and very buttery. Tuna mayo onigiri -- not as good as the other two but still decent. It was very rice heavy though, so I felt like it was monotonous at some point. Overall, it was a good place, if you like rice you will love this place

Great portions of omelette and protein! Rice is very fluffy and beds the curry perfectly. I tried this to go for the very first time, and it worked really well as well. I would recommend getting the Hamburg for to go, as katsu don't hit the same as eating freshly deep fried. But the Hamburg is also what I order when I eat in. Portions are rather large, so with kids, I split one large size and I add extra protein. We do katsu and hamburg. Very very very delicious! Always recommend. Even my picky Asian parents approved of it! Always first restaurant that comes in mind when we visit international district. Staff is also always kind and helpful and efficient.

Decent portions of rice lathered in sweet curry with the protein of your choice - not too shabby. A bit pricey in my opinion, but it does scratch that itch. My wife and I ordered both the pork and chicken cutlets with the curry and rice. Presentation of the food was on point, and there's enough for both the rice partnership and the cutlets for dipping purposes. The sweet and warm Japanese curry felt like a welcomed hug on a cold and brisk May afternoon. The biggest complaint was actually the cutlets - despite a nice crunch to it, something felt a little off. Like the cutlets were a bit old or were previously reheated or something. I had to drench each slice with curry to fully enjoy the meal. At the end of the day, two regular-sized curry dishes actually made us quite full and content. We left feeling stuffed and warm - the perfect combination for a chilly spring day. I would say this was a bit pricey for my liking, but what isn't pricey these days in this economy? Solid 4 stars!

Chirashi bowl (5/5) For the price, you just can't beat it anywhere else. It's totally worth it with 5 different kinds of sushi, shrimp and eel and roe. The fish tastes fresh and the wasabi is strong. Amazing price, generous portion, excellent quality. Unagyu don (4/5) This bowl has a mix of tender beef and eel and it's quite heavy on the sauce. I wouldn't say it's very salty but it is saucy and you need to mix it with the rice properly to balance it out. The portion is generous and it is very filling. Not bad but I'd go for the chirashi every time.

Georgetown has some nice hidden gems and I would consider this one of them... just good,…read moreno-nonsense Japanese rice bowls of comfort. If you're a fan of Red Bowl in Financial District, this place has a similar vibe with its approach to rice bowls. Having been here twice on different weeks, I think this will become one of my go-to places in the area when I'm craving fresh seafood on a weekend south of downtown. LOGISTICS Parking is convenient for Georgetown area, given they have a dedicated lot for customers of businesses in the area. Entering in, you order through the kiosk and if you're dining in, you can seat yourself and they'll bring the order to you. The space is small for larger groups but if you're 4 people or less, generally there are tables available on off peak hours (at least what we observed Sat/Sun). Ordering happens at the kiosk, which you can choose for takeout or to dine in. Keep in mind there are some items available for dine-in only (ex. udon or seared salmon bowls), but if you plan on doing takeout anyways you can order online or call ahead for pickup. Note - they do close at 2:30 pm but re-open at 4:30 pm. So long as you get your order in by 2:30 pm they'll still service you... which was nice since the last two times we came in around 2:00 PM. FOOD First off, they have nice nice presentation both in how the food is arranged and the bowls they use when dining in. From the ceramic/decorative bowls to the trays they use... it's the little things that add to the dining experience and make you think a business cares about its food. (Note: there was one time we had initially ordered togo but decided to eat in person; so they kept the food in plastic bowls for one of my photos.) In every bowl we had during our two visits, the rice was excellent! We've had some terrible rice at other donburi places before where it can be too overcooked or too mushy. Fortunately their seasoned rice was a good texture and tasty to eat on its own. The seafood was also excellent for the price / quality - fresh tasting with a melt-in-your mouth texture. Volcano Bowl: Spicy salmon + spicy crab salad w/ masago - despite the description it wasn't too spicy (siracha mayo) but it went really well with the rice, like a deconstructed sushi roll. I liked mixing in some wasabi to give it a stronger kick. Aburi Sake Bowl (seared salmon bowl): This is only available to order for dine-in; if you love salmon... I would recommend this one. Seared salmon is delicious seafood umami. I liked how the salmon had the right amount of fattiness too. Chirashi Bowl: If you like variety, then this is an excellent bowl to try a little bit of everything. I was amused that they also included unagi (I don't think I see that in most chirashi bowls). Even the shrimp, which is usually my least favorite part of chirashi bowls, tasted good with a slight sweetness. OVERALL Awesome place and a good location for the area given there's parking available. Price was just right for the quality (I'm amused how much cheaper good seafood is here in Seattle compared to the Bay Area) and the staff were really friendly. There are also two excellent bouldering gyms nearby (Castle Climbing Club and Momentum)... so if you're looking to recharge after a climbing session, I would highly recommend coming here!

Simple yet so appetizing. Sushi rolls were both fresh and well prepared. The nigiri was also great and fresh- not fishy.
