Just opened! Cute and tasty little place inside Southland Mall!

Teriyaki Ninja just opened in Southland Mall. I work in the area so I was happy to see a new spot to grab lunch. The staff was very friendly and prices were great. $7 and change gets you get a made to order teriyaki chicken with 2 sides. It was enough to feed 2 and and you can upgrade to double chicken for only.... 99 cents! I call that.....Winning! When you come shopping to Southland Mall checkout this place it will not disappoint!

Aside from this place being one of the best options in the Southland Mall Food Court, the food is fresh and delicious and the setup/appearance makes you feel like you're at a higher end mall. The food tastes great and is served neat and clean. Prices are cheap and the portions are enough for 2 or 3 people to share. Staff is great too; very friendly and are experienced in excellent customer service. I've ordered to go before and it's always simple and easy. I definitely recommend.

Went to Teriyaki Ninja for delicious chicken teriyaki and Ninja Sno (very popular Taiwanese milky shaved ice). I couldn't stop eating those! I ordered Chicken Teriyaki with steam rice, the portion is very big, it can easily feed 2 girls :D Delicious with a hint of ginger with sweet teriyaki sauce, yum! Ninja Sno: I ordered Original, Strawberry Dream and Mago. My favorite is the Original. Toped with fresh kiwi and strawberry and lychee fruit pearls. Who can say NO to lychee? :P I'll definitely go again, not to shop but for the food!

This is my favorite Asian food in the City!!! Excellent taste, price, fresh food and excellent service. The BEST "Honey Lime Chicken" EVER!

The Mango Madness was insane or to die for

Have not been to Southland Mall in awhile. Went to buy a cell phone battery and decided to have a bite to eat just before closing. A lot of people were at this place Teriyaki Ninja so I decided to try especially not wanting fried, greasy food. Had to wait awhile and noticed how clean the place was. I looked up into the hood vents while standing there. I am OCD about certain things, especially food. Had the Chicken Yakitori. It was good, but I also had a Green Tea Zen and a Mango Madness. I had the Green tea which is frozen green tea then shaved topped with condensed milk and other condiments. Did I say to die for . Thought I found a new hole in the wall. Was pleasantly surprised. Going to take my wife there.

Chicken was rubbery and spring rolls tasted and smelt like collard greens. Rice was dry and tasted like it had been frozen before. I love Japanese food, so this was a very disappointing experience.

Very friendly staff and great honey chicken with citrus flavor. The rest of the food items are pretty average, though.

Teppanyaki on Norwegian Escape was one of the best Japanese steakhouses I have experienced, with…read moresome novel tricks displayed by the grill master and including the biggest shrimp I have been served to date on a teppanyaki grill. All aspects of the meal and courses served were very professionally handled, prepared, and presented, from ordering drinks to receiving dessert. The dining room itself is composed of 8 grills that each seat 12, so 96 diners can be served simultaneously, in set seatings. Grill masters wear colorful red hats which at first glance I mistook for Santa caps. Our grill master, like the one at an adjacent grill, was very amiable and animated, and seemed to truly enjoy his job. We began with edamame and hot and thirst-quenching Miso Soup with dashi, tofu, and wakame, quickly followed by a Seaweed Salad with tasty Ginger Dressing. Then a huge portion of Garlic Fried Rice was prepared for 11 diners (only Diane opted for Steamed Rice, which accommodation was graciously granted). To the expressed amusement of all who saw it, my party observed a neighboring grill master attempt to flick an egg into his hat with a metal spatula but loft it too high, so it got stuck instead in the metal hooded vent directly overhead. This was like deja vu for me, because I observed the same result with a different grill master while cruising on the Norwegian Epic 6 years earlier--except with a grilled shrimp instead of an egg. Both grillers reacted to the misadventures good-naturedly, After another unbroken egg was capably propelled by a metal spatula into the top of our grill master's hat, and another uncooked egg was repeatedly hit up into the air like a loose paddle ball until it was speared on the edge of the spatula to crack the egg and drip its contents onto the grill below, a plastic chicken with moving hot feet suddenly appeared on the grill while at least six more eggs were cracked near it. Next, after the fried eggs were fully cooked, they were rolled together to take on the shape of an open-mouthed cobra that was poised to strike with the help of a fork deftly operated by the grill master. Then White Onion, squash, zucchini, and carrots were cooked and chopped on the grill just before proteins including raw Filet Mignon, Jumbo Shrimp, chicken breast, and large scallops were eased onto the hot grill for grilling. The hunks of medium-rare Filet I ordered were buttery and delicious, as were the shrimp, veggies, and Garlic Fried Rice. Separately poured sauces for the meat and seafood enhanced the enjoyment of the meal, as did two extra portions of Garlic Fried Rice that I was given. Diane's request for Teriyaki Sauce was cheerfully granted, and I was also supplied with two cups of hot Green Tea. Dessert was a choice of Green Tea Cake or Fresh Fruit Sashimi. I sampled the former, and found it to be a bit dry; but was greatly pleased with the latter, which included well-trimmed pieces of cantaloupe, honeydew melon, pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, and kiwi served with Coconut & Mango Dipping Sauces. Best of all, the per diner charge for the specialty dining meal just described was only $30.00 plus gratuity, a great deal by any measure!

The sushi is excellent, and the hibachi is always on point--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. What really makes this place special for us, though, is the hibachi experience. He puts on a great show, keeps everyone entertained, and does an incredible job engaging our kids, which makes the night even more memorable for our whole family. It's the kind of place that works just as well for family dinners as it does for celebrations. Great food, great service, and an atmosphere that keeps us coming back year after year. Highly recommend. Ruson is a staple for us, and we'll definitely continue to be regulars.

Upon arriving on time for our 6:30 pm reservation we had to wait another 45 mins to actually get a table. ( oh okay patience was with us it was a busy day) so while waiting went stood at the bar and although we were there first the bartender decided to serve other guest first. We noticed and kept it moving ., our name finally got called for a table and headed upstairs . They sat us down on the first table upon entering and a big blow fan was aimed right at our table. After another 45-55 min wait while at the table the chef came. We are starving by now. Then he wants to do the whole bit of the erupting volcano and etc and we are looking at him like sir - please just cook the food it's almost 9:30. I asked for a coke to try to fill my belly and it was flat. At this point I was ready to go. Long story short we got all our food by a lil after 10:00pm and it was all cold because of the blown fan. No one at my table ate we end up asking to have our food just packed up because we were too annoyed to eat. Another bad experience at a Benihana. I honestly will never go to another one.
